Well, none of us do the right thing all the time. And there are many who would have cut an run! (Newt Gingrich comes to mind....)

True... can't argue with that. :) Thank you, David. If I'm being honest, I am usually uncomfortable with any kind of praise. I just don't see its necessity, and I certainly don't feel worthy of it. I'm not the one that's fighting this thing, ya know?

hmmm ... pizza topped w/ spicy peppers washed down w/ caster oil ... stand by :D

There ya go! Pics by morning! :D

Just remember do not try to second guess yourself- it will cause undo stress on all...

Not a concern, Semi... I don't have enough excess brain power to be able to think twice about the same thing. ;)

From what we see on this end - You kind of are right there in the battle with her... :)

In a way, for sure. I've been to almost every single doctor's appointment, and have learned a lot about what she's fighting. The chemo has really messed with the way her mind works (kinda foggy and forgetful), so I have to pay attention to make sure that she gets what she needs and is taken care of. Not to mention most of her post-surgical care... it's definitely been a long, hard fight for both of us. I just feel like she definitely has the heavier burden, though.

Love it when the back porch folks share such happy news! :):):)

We took another look at her blood work report last night, and it appears that her "Cancer Marker" number is actually going down right now. :) That's a good sign that the new chemo is potentially doing some good. We won't know for sure until she goes back in for CT/MRI scans, but there's no reason that we can't have a little hope, right?

Let's keep da good news rollin'...

Patty's brain MRI last week was 'clean', again (nine years after her emergency surgery)!
