True... can't argue with that. Thank you, David. If I'm being honest, I am usually uncomfortable with any kind of praise. I just don't see its necessity, and I certainly don't feel worthy of it. I'm not the one that's fighting this thing, ya know?

Between the way my Mama raised me, and the Grace of God, hopefully I won't screw it up too bad.

Not a concern, Semi... I don't have enough excess brain power to be able to think twice about the same thing.

In a way, for sure. I've been to almost every single doctor's appointment, and have learned a lot about what she's fighting. The chemo has really messed with the way her mind works (kinda foggy and forgetful), so I have to pay attention to make sure that she gets what she needs and is taken care of. Not to mention most of her post-surgical care... it's definitely been a long, hard fight for both of us. I just feel like she definitely has the heavier burden, though.

Love it when the back porch folks share such happy news!

We took another look at her blood work report last night, and it appears that her "Cancer Marker" number is actually going down right now. That's a good sign that the new chemo is potentially doing some good. We won't know for sure until she goes back in for CT/MRI scans, but there's no reason that we can't have a little hope, right?
