Another update - View attachment 600699 She's home!!! Got to take her home last nite! Liquids went well enough that they brought her real food for breakfast. Tolerated that, actually scarfed it up. All her readings were good, felt good, getting snarky at laying there in bed. Lots of appointments ahead but that's fine with me. She said too tell you all thank you and that the prayers really helped. I'll be putting in more hours for a while but I'll still be checking in. View attachment 600701
Yaaayyyy! That's great news! She's really doing great!

@Kenna I'm a multi-tasker Netflix, ECF, and Evolve chitchat. All at once. Pretty good for just shy of 67.

I kin vape, drink coffee and read the threads all at once...well, I take the mod away from my lips before i put the coffee cup to them, but it's still about the same thing.."cept when the cup goes to my mouth and i inhale like it's my mod...or i tip my mod to drink from it...occasionally I've tried to vape my remote.....

guess i ain't doing so good for just being shy of...hmmm.... I'll have to find my birth cerificate...be back soon....

No Android phone, but did run an Android tablet for a while. EVERY app updates, all on it's own.... with little or no user control. The OS itself doesn't update that often. But all the crapware installed at the factory, and anything you actually chose to install, will. Often....

And you thought Windoze waz bad? :w00t:

They are just updating their downloads of everything you've done since the last update.

I'm thinking you may have to go find some very heavy heavy-duty boots that weigh app. 50lbs. or so.....otherwise you'll float right off the ground and maybe hit a cloud or a poor little birdie....:D

I often read a book while braiding 4 strand leather leashes. Or I walk around, braiding and talking to people. Customers come into the booth and comment "you are reading while doing that?" My reply is usually" Yes, and I can chew gum at the same time! ".

Gotta stop braiding to vape, however. :(

One of the things that I had to get used to with vaping was that you can't hold your device between your lips, or at least I can't. Mostly, I had stopped doing that with cigarettes anyway, due to the fact that my breathing had become difficult enough that I'd choke and cough even more than usual when holding a cigarette in my mouth.

On occasion, I talk to someone who I haven't talked to since I started vaping. That means the last time I talked to them, I couldn't talk for 30 seconds without entering into a coughing fit. It is one of the most delightful things about vaping that I can go on and on now without the enforced pauses. Not that I usually talk that much anyway, of course.

We celebrated yesterday w/ a big family gathering. I think Janet feed a dozen or more people yesterday and did a good job of it. It was nice having the family around for my big '70'.
Whew! Got caught up in time that it's not a BELATED birthday.
Happy 70th, Mike!

Last Friday we discovered our guest bathroom toilet had been leaking/weeping on da floor. How did we notice (in that we hardly visit that side of our home)? Sopping carpet in da living room. At least it was 'clean' vs. 'brown' water...

Half of our living room and back bedroom carpets are wetter dan a hatching tadpole!

Long story short, got several 'cane blowers/dehumidifiers along wid da appropriate wind noise.

At least my insurance agent is one of my sons-in-law!!! Gotta look on da 'blessing' side... (kinda difficult in da midst of tropical winds) (Eh... wha... ya'll may have to type in bold fer a while...)
