Here ya go @Kenna took me a while to type it out.
If you can read this, you have a strange mind too.
I couldn't believe that I could actually understand
what I was reading. The phenominal power of the
human mind, according to a research at
Cambridge University, it doesn't matter in what order
the letters in a word are, the only important thing is
the first and the last letter be in the right place. The
rest can be a total mess and you can still read it
without a problem. This is because the human mind
does not read every letter by itself, but the word as a
whole. Amazing huh? Yeah and I always thought
spelling was important! If you can read this SHARE IT
Yepn I was able to read it.

At the risk of being shot -- or worse yet, banned from the porch :( ...

I respectfully disagree. Many, many people on Medicare don't go for an annual wellness checkup. They don't understand how to take their meds, or what the symptoms of certain health issues might be. They may be virtually housebound. They may see several docs who don't talk to one another; medical record sharing is not mandatory. Unlike the folks on the porch - all of whom are thoughtful about their health - lots of elderly people are "old school": questioning a doctor is just not done. For these people, an annual wellness check in the home by a licensed provider is a godsend. This is why the government added an incentive for insurers. No medicare recipient is forced to participate.

Back to the FP. I'm less likely to get into trouble, there :)

Nope, I totally agree Little Bird... No banning. And @Danidoo that was great input. While I kind of knew it was government regulation that was pushing it - I also figured that it might be more.

Just a little of personal insight. Years back when we used to have my Mother and Aunt to take care of I decided to get them a full physical when they first moved in with us. Our doctor wanted to see their medical history from their previous doctors so he requested them, read them and then progressed with their checkup. What he found was that my Mother was being seen and prescribed different medications from different doctors and that some of them were not to be taken together and that she had not received the necessary tests to oversee the reactions to some of the other med combos she was on... His decision was to scrap everything and to start from scratch with her meds and he ensured she had all the proper monitoring in place for her meds. I personally am glad he took these steps. She had a lot of ailments that went away or were reduced by his interventions and she enjoyed 9 more years on this earth because of his work...

Thank you! Birfday, huh? Does that mean I get to be 3, like the candles on Kay's cake? That's what I thought when I saw it. Oh, to be 3!!!

Nope, but you can always do what I do - just claim 29 again plus postage and handling. The problem is that the postage and handling charges are outrageous nowadays... LOL :)

Oh, and Happy Birthday Dancin... :bday:

Jup it's really important that folks be in charge of their meds. If things don't work.....I will talk to the doc about it, if he don't change or delete it, and don't give me a really good reason that I need to be on it......I'll taper off (super important for some) and go off it anyhow. Just cuz they prescribe sumpthin.......don't mean ya gotta take it. It's really hard for much older and very ill folks to do that, so hopefully they have a family member or someone who can do it for them!

And Bea can be 3 if she wants! See...it even rhymes!! :p

Wow ... not one overnight post. Was everyone out partying all night and celebrating Dancing's birthday?

Happy Birthday Dancing.
Thank you, Mike! And, Dancing was sleeping last night!

Thank you, Semi! But, I don't care how old people THINK I am. I just want the BODY of a 20 year old. As long as I get to keep my own mind (inside the healthier brain).
