On a more somber note, brother in law lost his battle with cancer, he was able to pass away peacefully at home with his family. If y'all would, send some good thoughts my sis in law's way, it's been hard for her; she's been in a traumatic limbo because it took the doctor almost two weeks to get around to signing the death certificate so the cremation could take place...... :-x :(

I'm not doubting you, just wondering how the interaction works between the USPS and the state agents. As a former USPS employee I've never known of anyone except Federal employees; ie; the US Postal Inspection Service, having access to the US Mail for investigative purposes.
That's what I thought. :)

Two weeks?!!? Sheesh... that doctor needs to be taught a lesson in common, human decency. The family needs closure, and he was an impediment to that process. I am grateful to hear that he was able to pass peacefully at home, Kim. Prayers and well wishes are being sent out to ease the burden and sorrow for the entire family. :nun::wub:

WoW! A thinker! Lost dat ability eonz ago.
BUT... you can order booze and/or smokes if you live in PA. Just that you'll never receive them.
I would assume the PA postal inspectors would be building a list of vendors that ship things like that. You may get some shipments, you may not get some. Pot luck from the start, but eventually they'll all get "confiscated".
And eventually the vendors just refuse to ship there.

In other news we are back from our trip to the big city to stock the freezer. It is ungodly hot out there and loading and unloading the car was a nightmare.

On the way down my REO decided to only fire one in every 10 button presses. YEah on that long drive I was not happy. Got to the city saw a vape shop. Pulled in and bought a Subvod kit and a bottle of juice (you may laugh now VV). These actually are nice little devices for something you can't change the battery in and no rebuildable deck. Was well worth it though. I would have killed someone if I had to fight the REO the near 80 miles back home after fighting with pushing a big flatbed cart around sams and loading the car.

REO the problem is I basically forgot to clean the contacts before I left. Totally my own dang fault.

Still need to get stuff put away. Tomorrow I will do the vacuum sealing for the freezer. I am pooped out at this point.

Thanks Kazz, I appreciate that. I totally agree with your opinion about the doctor, I'm really shocked and disheartened that someone who is purported to be a medical professional could be so thoughtless.

Always, Kim. :) I'll keep y'all in my thoughts and prayers.

And, now it's time for me to get out of here, try to get a haircut, and then spend the rest of the evening with my Bride.

See y'all in the mornin'!

I feel ya Myr, I've got to get to the store later this afternoon, pups are almost out of supplies and it is 95° in the shade here with that 'slap ya in the face with a wet blanket' humidity. The older I get the less tolerance I have for these kind of days, add in a semi functioning mod and I would not be pleasant company.

On their way, Kim.

Other thoughts on the way to the duck... doc. Sorry about that, don't want to malign ducks!

yeah the car said it was 101F and the humidity is bad. Just horrid hot. I am the only driver. Hubby went with me but that meant dealing with the wheelchair too (usually not a problem). He did not even grump when I spent $65 bucks for the kit and juice at the vape shop. Guess this kitty was getting kinda growly. LOL

Now I just ache. Near 200 miles of driving + sams + loading and unloading the chair + getting stuff put away. Soon as we finish supper I am so hitting the shower and letting hot water beat on aching muscles and joints.
