Corn 'n' Cows
my ex-father-in-law (is that a thing???) put mayo, instead of butter, on corn on the cob.

that's up there with the strangest food habits i've ever seen

mebbe i should go back to politics :)

I've heard of mayo on corn on the cob. My SO puts PEANUT BUTTER on her corn! So does the rest of her family

I eat corn on the cob naked. Not even salt and pepper, just enjoy the sweetness

Sent from a dark, twisted corner of the back porch, covered in cobwebs and slightly damp.

Creem uv mushruum zoup works well too.
Not on meatloaf! CoM soup with a package of Lipton onion soup is great for a roast. Rub the soup mix on the roast & get it started in a crockpot, then before it's done pour the soup on it.

OMG! steak should be medium rare,, and closer to rare! and it dont need no 'A1' sauce,,, maybe a little side of raspberry chipolte.

At one of our mom and pop steak places if you ask for A1 sauce the cook will come out and ask what is wrong with the steak...

my pops raised organic cows long before it was cool....until 2010+/- i had never bought beef at a store. when he wound down the farm i got sticker and taste bud shock from the grocery store meat. (find a local farmer if you can,, buy 1/2 cow...its well worth it)

pops also believed animals should not be stressed because the meat would be tough/bad. he raised them in manageable numbers and would take hours to care for them,, they got back rubs, neck rubs,, some even had names (our son named 1 Dinner)......... lots of fresh water and hand mixed grains & alfalfa,, some wheat for filler. he did pretty good,, others would say he was crazy.. they did. .....wonder what they were eating lol

Ya'll have some unusual taste buds. Must be regional to each person.

Me - If you want to put something on your food and you feel it taste better with it on it - then go for it, but if you are at someone's house - before you put anything on it notice if the others are and if they aren't - then don't - at least taste it first...

our son named 1 Dinner

Hehe (Dinner)...

Reminds me of the first time I visited the Philippines. I was presented a Rooster as a token of appreciation of how we had helped the family over the years (beautiful bird and in the Philippines presenting a rooster is a big thing)... The very first morning - that )(&)(* rooster woke me up at 4:30am. I named him "Lunch" - he was back in the mountains by 10am... :D:w00t::lol:

this is proper chef behavior!

only request sauce if the meat is inedible
