I'll give due credit to da true ol' English fish & chips mitt malt vinegar (in London). Snarkiness not intentional, but JMHO, F&Cs was da one British meal that I actually enjoyed and went back fer seconds!
Years ago we had an AT here and dey lasted fer 'bout two+ years; too much fresh local seafood and awesome cooks. In England da fresh cod/haddock beats da halibut outta da frozen offerings of today in da Colonies!

The Swiss pretty much have the market cornered on that and talk about AUTHENTIC Roquefort! OMG!!! Oh, BTW, the Gruyere we get here is no where near as good as the authentic schtuff.
(and Horseradish makes EVERYTHING better! Has anyone tried that Horseradish/Bacon White Cheddar???)

Gotta go to bed soon, busy day tomorrow...first the Drs. to find out exactly what kinda damage i did to my pelvic bone and what I have to stop doing because of it, and prolly change my exercises for the hip, prolly another pain med. 'script, the P.O....yeah, Kenna!, and the office to pay my rent. Whew!
I talked with Chey earlier via FB and she's gonna pick me up around 6:30 to go to another GD's new home for a few hours , to show off their new home as Chey hasn't been there yet and of course, play some euchre...maybe a little WII bowling...I might make it thru one game....
and then I'll come home, hit the bed and prolly sleep for fourteen hours

Hey, I inadvertently forgot to reply to @Uncle Willie 's wonderful enticement to Nashville.
I would really LOVE to get back "down there" and show my lovely bride around Pappy's home state but it's gonna take a Christmas miracle for us to make it. As a matter of fact, I still have family in that part of the country and it would be nice to see them too but, see previous sentence. Definitely tell Kid Rock "Paulie" says howdy though. 
Maybe ask him when he's coming to Alaska too.
