We will be seeing the new Star Trek movie while home for 2 weeks. Hubby is a huge fan (I love it too). All our dogs had/have Star Trek names. GSD was Nirenberg's Deana Troi (Troi), Golden was Commander Riker (Riker), Belgian Tervuren Spock was Maplerun’s Trouble with Tribbles, Tasha (Yar) is Sky Acres USS Stargazer, Geordi (LaForge) is Biijou Luisant Kontinuing Mission. Maplerun, Sky Acres and Bijou Luisant are the breeder's kennel names.

Gotta be true to our roots!

ETA: as a floorperson, I always called "heads up" for my male dealers.....:D maybe I should explain...it was simply a cue to lift their eyes from looking down at the game layout because something fine was passing by...;)

Love that!! Our table games guru/head honcho/instructor extraordinaire could be found patrolling the gaming floor on the lookout for inexperienced dealers whose eyes were NOT focusing on the game they were dealing. :w00t: :) :rules:

Well I have decided to get a couple of Therions. I always wanted to try the DNA since they got them working right. I don't care what people think, this is the one thing I have in my life that I really enjoy. I don't spend money on drugs, alcohol, cigarettes or really anything else besides necessities. I love messing with Mods and different wires and I get some satisfaction from making them work just how I want it to. It is my vice/hobby. I buy my shorts at Wallys World same with my shoes and I may not be the best dressed person around but I have some really nice Mods. Oh I have one other vice and that is computers which I haven't spent any money except the 150 I wasted on my old one. Eventually I will have to get a new one but that is pretty much it. I enjoy coming here because we can talk about vaping. Most people I meet have no idea what I'm talking about when I say yes this mod with SS and set on a TCR of .00092 with a temp of 420F running 25 Joules have no idea what I'm talking about except here. Out in public people just nod their heads and agree including my wife. It would be nice to find a place where people know what I'm talking about but here it just doesn't happen. I hate the thought of this freaking govt putting controls on my hobby/pastime. Sure I have a lot of stuff more then some less then others. I should have been a reviewer then I might have enough but since I'm not I do what I can. The only thing I do worry about not having enough of is flavors. Well so much for that.
I almost got to Sky Vapor yesterday we were 2 minutes from it but after sitting in the car in the heat with the pup I just wanted to get out of town. Next trip when it's cooler. I want to try some Mr. Fritter. Traffic here its terrible. I think too many Californians and Others have moved here. Yesterday in the middle of the day some idiot flipped his car on a straight portion of 3 lane Nbound I-5 and the traffic was backed up for miles. Seems like it is like that all the time. People are honking at others they honk back and flip them off and rush hour forget it.
So thats my story and I'm sticking to it. I'm with Flower Soul I'm not going to try to catch up. I'm too far behind Ginny and her Mom are canning beans about 40 quarts of which we will take 20 home. A hole has been pretty good. He goes out and picks enough beans for a pressure cooker load and they can them. They are so much better then canned string beans.
So thats pretty much it from the fogged in motorhome from my vaping. Going to have lots of vape mail when I get home already have all my .csv files downloaded for my Therions. They come with 7 Presets but heard they are a lot better with the .csv's from SE.
Hope all of you are well and I love you all and this place. Keep on vaping and screw the govt. This is almost as long as one of Debs multi quotes.
Eciggity has Therions for $129.99. Coupon code AUGUST8TH.ORG for 20% everything through the 6th

As a dealer I knew my regular players by their hands and the jewelry they wore on them....eyes always on the layout. As a floorperson, my dealers knew I would have my eyes on their game for the few seconds they glanced up to see what I had called "heads up" for. ;)

IMO, the latest reboot of the franchise melds a cast that is modern, yet still true to the roots of the show .. for me, the previous films peaked with "Wrath of Khan", which does not say much since I think it was the second film .. (and what .. ?? no dog named Khan with a Pocket Copy of the Kennel Ration Nutrition Guide for Dogs always at the ready .. ?? ;)) ..

Kobayashi Maru and luxurious Corinthian Leather .. ;)

I have liked the reboot so far, but from the previews I've seen I'm conflicted about spending any money to see the new one, rather than waiting for it to hit Netflix or such. I'm growing tired of the seeming need (started of course in the old movies) to have the Enterprise destroyed every time we turn around. They went 5 years in unknown parts of space, and never lost the ship, but the movies constantly want to destroy it. Ahh well, I'll probably go see it anyway, once it hits the nearby budget theater.

As far as the pinnacle of the previous movies, It had to be The Voyage Home.;)
(said with tongue firmly planted in cheek by the way, we need to find a good tongue-in-cheek smilie, the wink just doesn't quite convey it)

Truth is, with ticket prices these days, it's getting fairly rare that I go, even being a big movie fan .. (in my area, by the time it hits the discount cinema, we're literally on the cusp of a RedBox / Netflix disc release anyway) .. I did faithfully go to all "Hunger Games" (Jennifer Lawrence fan :)) at the theater, I try to get to any "Star Wars" or "Trek", wasted my time with the new "Tarzan" only because it looked so good on the teasers ..

And don't even get me started on concessions .. these days, you could practically go to Ruth's Chris for what concessions cost .. well, maybe not, but still .. ;)
