Older Folks and Vaping Back Porch-Part Six

It was a beautiful day here in Colorado Springs. We spent the afternoon strolling through Garden of the Gods with Katie, Huxley and Janet's sister. It was our first 'outing' with Hux. He's changed so much in the 2 1/2 months since we've seen him.

You are all such organised and tech savvy vapers. I'm never gonna catch up. That's ok. Waitin on payday to place my diy stuff order. And maybe one of those provari 3's that are blemished. Any clue as to which things are being phased out, and what will still be available. All the vaping manufacturers must be making those decisions, but they aren't sharing.
Kenna, sorry to hear everything has been so full on. And Kaez, my heart goes out to you both. I was diagnosed with Copd eight years ago, only quit the cigs in February, so am now at the severe emphysema stage. Biggest impact is shortness of breath & limited stamina, and my anxiety and depression both were overwhelming.
I have only recently been able to stop the fear and tears, and am feeling more like myself.
So am gonna take my daughter and rent a tree house in the rainforest an hour away. Splurge on a massage for us bothMy goal is to make the hike to the waterfall. And come out of my funk. I'm not gonna let it ruin the things I can do, which is still a lot, if I pace it.
Been hoping no one was hurt, or lost their homes during Mathew. Has it passed? And how catastrophic was it?

That will be a wonderful trip! Enjoy yourself!

Sorry it took so long for me to answer. Yes it does. Until we started using it regularly the thing reaked. An $800 dishwasher shouldn't do any of the things it does. I won't buy another Bosch. It doesn't even dry the dishes other than air dry and the plastic (tupper) ware always needs to be hand dried. Does a great job cleaning em but if I wanted to do anything other than put em away I'd wash them myself.

I was diagnosed with the same and of course I still have it you can't get rid of the scarring but been only vaping for almost 5 years and vaping and smoking some for another 3 and I had a lung function test the other day and as far as my lung capacity it's almost normal. I'm still short of breath a lot and get tired easy but a lot of that is my heart. Ginny my wife was smoking 2 packs a day and quit almost 6 weeks ago and she would put the oximeter on and it would be like 84 or 85 now it starts at 92 or 93. Shes feeling better smelling things again like the stink from the cigarettes. Pretty amazing. She is vaping about 8-10ml a day but only at 9mg of nic. So pretty good I think. It really makes a big difference.

That is is wonderful. That Ginny can smell the cigs is a big mile marker. Hating that smell is a big part of not wanting to smoke. And 8-10 ml at 9 mg is great! I've only come down to about 15 mg, but I started at 24 2 years ago, dropped to 18 about 3 months latern tried to drop to 12 after another 3 months & couldn't do it without chain vaping which I don't like to do. Went back to 18 & stayed there until a couple of months ago. She's doing so welld. Good job Ginny!

I'm 343 messages behind but,we are finally in Florida. We can't go to my brother's place in Daytona yet and the closest campground we could find is in Kissimmee near Disney. Nice place though. Kind of pricey. So nice that we are going to stay a cpuple of days just to relax then head over to Daytona for a few days before heading to Deerfield Beach. My Brother in Law checked on the house and says everything is fine. Lost power for a couple of hours is all. Well it's definately bedtime so I'll check in later. Thank you Gracie for letting everyone know we were ok. Later folks. Zzzzzzzzzzz

Hard to say, @Vape? They won't necessarily phase anything out in the near term, but new designs may go away.

Maybe just browse your favorite vendors' sale/clearance sections now and then.

As far as ProVape goes, the 2.5 is being phased out for sure, likely the Classic also. Don't know about the P3 yet. But, the Procyon and Radius are here to stay, as long as ProVape stays that is.

We almost never use the dishwasher to wash dishes. Only when we have a huge amount to wash. Normally we just use it as a drying rack to keep the dishes off the counter while they're drying. I just don't trust dishwashers.

Had dinner at my step sister's house tonight. Had a great time. Geordi and her lab Charlie had a blast olaying tug togethet, Tasha barked. We had a great talk about what happened in our lost lives, and hubby went along for the "ride". We will get together again before the week is over. Was the best evening I have had in a long time.

i dont have much, but i PIF when i can,, I can offer you some rayon,, some flavors and maybe some wire if you want..........love the rainforest idea!

I like to sit outside & watch the boats go in & out of the marina. And we can vape out there.

Thing about dishwasherz... U need more (extra) dishes! When you clean off the table they go in the dishwasher. But you may only need to run it once or twice a week. Which makes it a lot cheaper to wash dishes. Less hot water, less energy used up. Not to mention less time standing over a sink. Once you clean off the table... yer done.
AND it is humanly impossible to hand wash dishes as well as a DW. Simply because once the DW cycle is done, everything in it has bin sterilized.

Vape it is very cstastrophic. There are several hundred thousand without power, lots of homes and roads destroyed. Look above at someone posted a link for Flagler beach. It's pretty typical of the whole coast.
