{{{Sushi}}}, it's your life and if this is important to you then go for it. Your family may be fearful for your safety and I get that they care, but you have to do what your heart tells you to do. My prayers are with you for a safe and successful trip.
As far as the PVs are concerned, don't fill them to the top with juice. 3/4 will do and some of it might just disappear so you'll want to take a few with you so you don't find yourself without a vape. I carried about 5 PVs in my purse and nobody batted an eye. We were asked once what one of Mike's was, but it was only curiosity. We've carried several spare batteries in our carry on, but they were in those plastic battery carrying cases. I believe Mike had his extra batteries in his carry on. I think they want you to pack them to make sure their ends won't touch and cause problems. I carried our juice bottles, 3/4 full in those little zip lock snack bags in our checked luggage since you can only carry on 3 oz of liquid. That way if they did leak it wouldn't get on anything. Our last trip I took the cap off the juice bottles, laid a double layer of plastic wrap over the top and then replaced the top. When we got to our destination and I opened the juice bottle there was a little pop and a tiny bit splashed out. Didn't appear that we lost any juice though.
When do you leave?
