In your banner, how much per pack are you saying you paid for smokes. I can't find a pack for less then $5.00 around here anymore. Thank goodness I am not buying them anymore.
I think it was $6.50, 2 years ago. But I was smoking less than 1 PAD when I quit.

What do trophy points do? Also how do I see who liked my posts? Used, to see em automatically when I was using Tap-a-talk.

"Trophies" - what? where?

Neither Mike or I got any trophies! Don't really need any trophies, but it's obviously not working for everyone. Should I be sad?

"If I wanted a trophy, I'd buy a trophy." <Minnesota Fats> (will sidle over to see if I have any...)

The Google "hangout" that Debadoo set up recently is quite delightful.

Yes, it is! Dave and I must have spent at least 90 minutes jawing night 'fore last. Yesterday was a very 'low level' day fer moi; ergo, was a no show last night.

Didn't find anything on ECF 'skins' in preferences. So I just lowered my 'puter's resident brightness control... helps.

dear lord where did you ever buy smokes for 6.50 the last pack I bought was mid February of this year and it was $13.00 and in the nursing area where I work (mental health facility) smokes are going for $5.00 a piece- there is currently an admin crackdown on tobacco use-long story. I have started to make my own juice a 30 ml bottle here is $20.00 to $25.00 and that is just to reminiscent of smokes-smoked a pack a day for over 40 years - once I found vaping I dropped the tobacco - tasted like crap to me-don't even like tobacco flavours

I am in Florida, quit over 2 years ago. Can still get brands like 305s for about $6.00/pack.

Yep, I see 'em!! Looks like I got a whole mess of them 49 minutes ago. So, what are they good for? Is it just for info, like a post count or do we get a prize - like a new PV??????? Are there prizes? Huh? Huh? Huh?

you get the knowledge that you reached some milestone or other. :)

I saw people posting they were in the hangout, went there, and I'm talking to BigBells, but everyone else ran away.

I would like to agree with you - at least about the weather thing - but I can't We are supposed to head into the mid 20's overnight here.

Our local greenhouse warns people buying the pretty Spring flowers around here that we can still get frost in May. Yep, we're down to 33 here tonight and it was in the mid 40s today. When the wind died down it felt much warmer and was lovely because the sun was shining brightly.

ETA - Hmmm. Clicked on post and got a pop up saying I had to wait at least 27 seconds before performing this function. Huh? Closed the box, waited a bit and then hit post - and got a double post

EETA - Oh no! Where's the head smacking smilie? I loved that one! I didn't get any more smilies when I clicked on more options.

{{{Sushi}}}, it's your life and if this is important to you then go for it. Your family may be fearful for your safety and I get that they care, but you have to do what your heart tells you to do. My prayers are with you for a safe and successful trip.

As far as the PVs are concerned, don't fill them to the top with juice. 3/4 will do and some of it might just disappear so you'll want to take a few with you so you don't find yourself without a vape. I carried about 5 PVs in my purse and nobody batted an eye. We were asked once what one of Mike's was, but it was only curiosity. We've carried several spare batteries in our carry on, but they were in those plastic battery carrying cases. I believe Mike had his extra batteries in his carry on. I think they want you to pack them to make sure their ends won't touch and cause problems. I carried our juice bottles, 3/4 full in those little zip lock snack bags in our checked luggage since you can only carry on 3 oz of liquid. That way if they did leak it wouldn't get on anything. Our last trip I took the cap off the juice bottles, laid a double layer of plastic wrap over the top and then replaced the top. When we got to our destination and I opened the juice bottle there was a little pop and a tiny bit splashed out. Didn't appear that we lost any juice though.

When do you leave?

Thanks for the info! I leave Monday out of Houston. I'll be in Ethiopia for 10 days at a Bible school then spending a couple of days in Frankfurt on the way back. I get to see a girl I haven't seen in years, I was her mentor in Discipleship Training School. I'm very excited!!!

I'm going with my pastor's wife who will be teaching teenaged kids how to teach younger kids the Bible. I'm taking 400 balloons to teach them how to make balloon animals. We're also teaching them puppetry. I have skills - LOL!

I've gone back and forth about which PSv to take. Mods & bats, or egos? The ego "type" passthrough batteries came with a usb charger, but it doesn't say if it's 110-240v (not taking a laptop, just a tablet). I emailed the place I got them from and they said "you shouldn't have a problem". Shouldn't have? I'm just nervous taking that usb charger plugged into a wall adapter plugged into a plug adapter. So...I'm going with the mods, bats and charger that IS 110-240V which is also capable of charging my camera batteries.

Thanks again for everyone's support and suggestions! Greatly appreciated!!!!!

So, I want to tell you how awful it is to watch a 4 month old baby have double ear infections!! Poor Miles. He had 102 fever at daycare on Wed. He was such a trooper though and I'm pleased to say he's back to his old happy self today! Took awhile for me to catch up tonight because I can't do anything on the computer while he's here. When he took his nap Mike and I napped too! I'm so glad ECF is back up and we all seem to be finding our way around the new digs. I actually thought it was going to be very different from what we were used to. There will be growing pains, but I think it's going to be ok. And pretty soon we'll really be considered the old folks because we'll remember "the way it was".
