Mike, check in your alerts at the top of the page........you may have to scroll a bit, but it was giving everyone trophies, based on how many likes you had, one said I'd been a member for a year, (it lost a year) lol But they had funny messages when I clicked on em

Neither Mike or I got any trophies! Don't really need any trophies, but it's obviously not working for everyone. Should I be sad?

I had to cover some of my tender new outdoor plants the other day, the night time temp dipped to around 36 .. giving new meaning to the word chill in late April .. maybe Al Gore was right ..
Not possible! After inventing the Internet his "right" quotient was completely used up! It got down to the mid 40s the other night but I think our freezing days are really over. Possible to happen but, highly unlikely. Missed you my friend.

I'll keep my fingers-crossed for a couple days - hoping they get the 'old' bookmarks working again. I've got a lot of info bookmarked I'd hate to loss.

Ok, I'm getting a better idea of what is going on here. The system seems to be struggling with converting the old URL's to the new site URL's. It appears now that each forum has a "forum number" assigned to it. So, while on the old forum you would have a URL ending in:

...e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/canada-forum/

the new URL for that forum is:

...e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/forums/canada-forum.539/

Some times it's converting old URL's ok. Other times - it's not doing it. Could be at times we are overtaxing a database that is trying to cross-refer from old to new URL's. Dunno.

Regardless, I think all hope is lost if you have bookmarks to specific posts within threads or for blogs. Those URL's are much more complicated and I doubt those will ever 'convert' to links for the new site. Same for certain sub forums - like Deals and Steals within the PIF forum. Will have to see what the Admins are saying in the Xenforo threads.

So... Ima gonna wait for about a week and see how this settles out before starting to update my Bookmarks. It seems that this would royally wreak havoc with the gazillion links out there to specific ECF pages all over the interwebs. (Somebody must have thought about this issue? Right?) Existing URL's you have bookmarked can and should - or in some cases "must" - be updated at some point though. But not yet - at least not for me. :2c:

OK, been traveling and working all day, first time on the new forum. Hi everyone!! Wonder if my sig banner will show.... Glad it still works with Tapatalk (so far) because working all weekend I won't really be able to check out the PC stuff til about Tuesday. But nice to be back together!!

edit: YEA my sig banner worked!
In your banner, how much per pack are you saying you paid for smokes. I can't find a pack for less then $5.00 around here anymore. Thank goodness I am not buying them anymore.

{{{Sushi}}}, it's your life and if this is important to you then go for it. Your family may be fearful for your safety and I get that they care, but you have to do what your heart tells you to do. My prayers are with you for a safe and successful trip.

As far as the PVs are concerned, don't fill them to the top with juice. 3/4 will do and some of it might just disappear so you'll want to take a few with you so you don't find yourself without a vape. I carried about 5 PVs in my purse and nobody batted an eye. We were asked once what one of Mike's was, but it was only curiosity. We've carried several spare batteries in our carry on, but they were in those plastic battery carrying cases. I believe Mike had his extra batteries in his carry on. I think they want you to pack them to make sure their ends won't touch and cause problems. I carried our juice bottles, 3/4 full in those little zip lock snack bags in our checked luggage since you can only carry on 3 oz of liquid. That way if they did leak it wouldn't get on anything. Our last trip I took the cap off the juice bottles, laid a double layer of plastic wrap over the top and then replaced the top. When we got to our destination and I opened the juice bottle there was a little pop and a tiny bit splashed out. Didn't appear that we lost any juice though.

When do you leave?

The Google "hangout" that Debadoo set up recently is quite delightful. For several of us, including Iffy and myself, it was a first-ever experience with video/audio group chats and we were pleasantly blown away by the quality of the experience.

You can disable the camera, disable your microphone, or both, if you choose, and still see and hear others who are in the hangout. You can still input text even if you've disabled both video and audio from your end.

Even if you don't know for sure whether you'll ever be interested, why not bookmark the link to the hangout so you can visit there if the spirit so moves ye. The address is Sign in - Google Accounts

Yes, it was fun and I enjoyed meeting the few I did get to meet "face to face". Shame it turned out to be the busiest weekend I've had in months and I couldn't get on as I would have liked. Sorry I missed Iffy!

ok, taking a poll here.......

Please tell me
1. do you see something under your own or anyone else's avatar that says mood or no mood
2. Are you a supporting member

Bells was asking why I hadn't set my mood, and it's cuz I don't see one......he sees that under my avi it says no mood but I don't see that for anyone, so we're wondering if only supporting members see that

In the top right hand corner of the page I see my avi and some stats under it. Then there's a little dark gray box which in my case says "no mood". If you click on it you can choose a pictue that shows the mood you're in at the moment. Seems pretty pointless to me and I don't plan to change it, but some people might like it.
And yes I am a supporting member, but the logo is not there under my avi now. It's possible it's time to renew? I don't remember when I renewed before. The logo was there before we moved.

Deb, I don't see a mood bar under anyone's avi, I do see the ECF supporting member icons.

My avi to the left of this box shows the gray "no mood" button. It's also under my avi on the upper right side of this page.
So, how do I know if it's time to renew my ECF supporting member status? Don't you get some kind of notice? I can check out the ECF main page and check it out, just thought if somebody had a quick answer...

I was surprised to get a trophy well maybe it was a trophy , not sure -smile still trying to find my way around ecf, but it is an interesting spot, I fought so hard about tobacco and smoking bans a number of years ago-wore myself out-getting close to retiring from nursing -sort of sad to let it go but it is time,12 hour shifts 4 days in a row taking its toll-glad to be Vaping will make my pension monies go further

I have not found it yet, but if you see a way to change format colors let me know - some of these colors are hard on the eyes...

When you click on the Reply button the box opens where you can answer. See the "A's" in the top of the box? Run you curser over them and they'll tell you if they're color or font etc.
