Reading about all this food (love me some blackened fish!), I am in the mood for Peach bread French Toast. Those that travel I95 in Georgia, there is a place (2 actually, one on each side of the interstate) at exit 58. They sell the most delectable Peach Bread! And Cinnamon Pecan Bread, and Strawberry Bread. We have tried making it and get close, but not quite like this bread. Makes a grand French Toast with a little real maple syrup. Or just toasted with a little cream cheese.... Now I am making myself hungry!

Just peeping in to say "Hello". I'm so far behind that I've had to mark everything read. I'll never catch up. With no internet access at work, and only a limited time to get here after work, I just haven't been around. It's been monsooning down here like no tomorrow, so not a lot of flight going on. I forgot my books at home, BUT, I have been coloring. As for the new forum...............I'll have to learn all of this stuff when I get home. I just don't have the time to do it now. Wow, that was wonderful Willie. All those people you worked with, and what you did with the montage. Awesome. I also love what you did with the S&G song America. Always been one of my favorites and the pictures just say it all. Being fairly new to the porches, I enjoy everything you say and do and consider you a highly respected friend. Sometimes it is hard to put real feelings in mere words.

Getting older, I have lost several good friends. No, the pain never goes away, it just finds a place to reside and peep it's little head out from time to time. Those times I just let myself remember, shed a tear or two, then put it back into it's place and move on. Til next time.

That is so touching and thank you .. however, to steal a phrase from another well known member of the "Geezers and Good Women Thread" (you'll know who) .. the downside is now that I've entered the phase of "Semi-Retired" .. it's possible the fine folks here may have to put up with just a little more of me .. Was going to skip a few pages, but I'm sooo glad I didn't...been waiting (like everyone else) for Uncle Wille to continue the story. All I can say is WOW...what a wonderful time he must have had on his journey thru life so far. I just hope he can enjoy the remainder as well as the past. I know about...happy wife happy life, took 7 wives and 8 significant others for me to figure that one out. Damn...I'm dumb!

My brother Chris learned after three. Now he just "rents" them. Costs almost as much when your living with them, much less when it comes to trade in time. Chris like to trade em in often. I agree-- autobiographies can be an ego thing. My book has almost no autobiographical content. Just think it is difficult to do it right.

I think they certainly could, and dunno if I've ever read one, but I would expect those who really want to read it wouldn't see it that way.

We really miss you! if you have time when you're home, a great way to learn it is to do a vid chat with someone. You don't have to be lookin at the vid chat screen, just talk and listen, kinda like having the phone on speaker. Bells and I did that to explore the forum when it came back up. Helped a lot to have two of us figuring things out.
