I was born and raised I Daytona Beach and 20 years in the Navy moved me to Hampton, Virginia. 20 more years until it was time to move back to Florida. My wife (Doree) and I are prepping fora move down to Deerfield Beach as soon as we can get our act together for selling this place. Her mother is in assisted living memory care and we are moving to be closer to her. I am a 3 year lung cancer survivor and quit smoking cold turkey on April 9, 2012. On May 9th they took out the bottom lobe of my right lung, caught it early and no chemo or radiation was required. 3 years cancer free on the 9th of this month. Started vaping full time at the recommendation of my cancer surgeon and haven't even wanted a smoke in three years. Believe me if I can do it, so can you.

That's totally awesome!!! I love to hear stories like this. Come on down. I'll keep the porch light on

Hope everyone has a great great evening. Overnight in Rocky Mount NC, then off to finish the drive to Manassas VA and set up for the 2 day dog show. Monday off to Gettysburg PA for the Belgian Tervuren National Specialty for a week. Busy busy busy.

Shew I just had another afib thingy. All better now but wow I don't know how some people live with it all the time. Feels like your heart is going to pop out of your chest. Anyway like I say all better again. So hows everyone this AM. Well The Grandaughter that we raised and her hubby are coming next Saturday on Memorial day weekend. Should be good to see them. We have never spent much time with him cause he is in the USAF. He was stationed in Germany when they got married and got to meet him Now in El Paso. They are flying up for 3 days. They will get to visit all her old friends. Wished she lived closer but not likely for a long time he is going to re-up next year. Loves his job. This afib leaves you just like my mood shows afterwards. It is sort of like running a mile without ever leaving your chair.

So nice that your granddaughter is coming for a visit. Sounds like fun!

Did your a-fib stop on it's own? How long did it last? It is a bit scary and very annoying! Not to be ignored though. Mine lasted 2 hours this time and straightened out on it's own, but while it was happening I felt weak, not any more spacey than usual. Anyway, really glad it settled down for you.

Can anyone tell me how to delete a conversation? I just discovered that a conversation can show up in a search ... I need to delete a couple and can't see how to do it

Manassas show is outside at Prince William County Fairgrounds. Sat and Sun is the show. Approx 8 til whenever;we usually close the booth around 4:30-5:00 unless busy.

Matt, you are in Hampton? Hubby is doing the show there while I do the Tervs. Tervs end Saturday and I will drive to Hampton cuz that show is Fri-Mon, so I will be there Sunday afternoon and Monday. We will break down Monday around 2 to try to get a few hours toward home in. If you might be up for an outing I can let you know the exact location...

I know you leave a conversation, then I think you can delete it. Have not tried to delete a current conversation however, so maybe someone has better info.

View attachment 456968 Hello and good morning everybody. I've been on the front porch trying to get set up for the prior couple of days. The guys and gals there have been awesome and this old hippie hasn't wanted an analog all day. I thought about it when I saw the pack this morning, but talked myself into giving the vaping another chance. My first try last night was awful. Worked hard at getting the right settings. I went shopping this morning and got me some flavors that had some vg and now I'm good to go. I'm a semi-retired nurse and a writer with one book published, and two novels completed. I'm at the computer probably 16 hours a day. At least, when I'm not running grandkids around. I've never been a forum member before so bear with me while I learn. I have a wordpress blog, but it's a totally different editor. Happy to be here!

Hey there Peach, glad you found us. This porch is amazing as it expends for as many people that show up. Haven't been to the front porch in awhile since things have been so hectic around here for the last few weeks. If you're just starting out vaping don't worry if you hit some bumps. There's a lot of choices between gear and juice and toppers and how it all works, but the good people here are more than happy to help with any questions you might have.

I read a lot so I'm going to check out your book. I thought about writing a book once until I realized it ain't as easy as people might think! Kudos to you for getting there!

Aww, sorry, didn't even get to the threads till late tonight so I missed everyone at Deb's Place. Still going to be busy here for another couple weeks and then it should be just us and the mess in the kitchen. Work on it is going to start the first week of June.

Baby sitting today was great except the little guy decided he didn't want to sleep much. Hope he lets his parents sleep tonight. He's coming back tomorrow and bringing his Daddy. That way our daughter gets to spend the day with him too.

It appears that you can leave a conversation and opt not to receive new responses, but I can't see an option to delete it entirely. I'm going to ask in the tips thread ... Thanks for your help!
