same here......of course I don't have to work out in the heat, but I don't complain about it!

I'm very fortunate, I have no pool maintenance at all to do!!!
complaining about the cold!! People bring me blankets, and if I whine long enough, will turn up the heat. lol At least when we had central heat!
See if'n you were up my way you could put that off for a couple more weeks. I get our pool ready for the July 4th weekend not Memorial Day. The dang pool heater costs a fortune to run, so we wait till the days and nights are warm before opening it. Now when the kids were little the pool would already be open.
Down into the low 50s here last night and I'm sitting on the back deck at12:30pm and it's only 67. Weird weather nationwide these days. I saw something on the news last night where they had a "pray for rain" sign in the front yard as people in John boats were rescuing them from the flood waters. Somewhere in the Midwest I think. Raining from the west coast all the way to the Appalachian Mountains. Careful what you wish for I guess but, Lord knows they need the rain on the west (left) coast. Just not quite this fast.

I have to get mine cleaned out and ready so they can have it looking nice to sell the house. Can't have a green cesspool in the back yard when selling! I kinda wish I had never installed it.

I went right out and started cleaning the pool deck. 1/4 done... Gonna rest, take a shower, go out for lunch and tackle the rest later on.
Well, I'm done, whether it's done or not. I'm with you Ken; resting for a few minutes, then going in for my shower to get ready for Mass this afternoon!
Have you tried a salt generator system? Well worth the money. Never any chlorine issues. It makes its own. Throw three bags of salt in there twice a year. I add three gallons of cyanuric acid in spring and top it off with a pint of myriatic acid and I'm good to go all year. Never add chlorine. If it looks like a hint of green on the stairs, I turn the generator up to super-chlorinate for twenty-four hours (if it's rained several days in a row) and shock it. Easy peasy.

Been doing chores all day ... then a late afternoon nap ... coffee on the back porch (our porch) ... dinner coming up soon.
Hey ever body! I got my Betelgeuse and just filled my tank. It's pear on the nose, raspberry-apple, and something toasty...I dunno, some sort of cookie, cereal. Anyhow's good stuff. Just had fish and broccoli with wild rice. Gonin' on the lanai while my puter backs up. Just checking in.

Top of the evening Miss Peach. I'll be in out until bedtime which if course could be anytime. Looked through the TV listing and it gives new meaning to Bruce Springsteen's so "57 Channels and Nothing On."
I was over in REOville. Got in on the excitement of REOS putting woodies up for sale on his web page at precisely 5:00 P.M. (Hardly anyone noticed I was there.) It was fun. After about five minutes he was about all sold out. The whole line. Went really fast. I just looked at the video on how to use one, but the woods sure were pretty. Suddenly, as the sale came to an end, everybody disappeared, some happy, some not so. Wild!!!Me too, just check in and there wasn't anybody around and hadn't been for a while. I have been working all day. Show is over, winners announced, booth broken down and packed away in my little van, now for a good nights sleep (hope) and off to Hampton VA tomorrow. Another show, this one is all breed.
Worked outside earlier. Got hot fast. Came inside and wrote for a while, self-editing all the while. had a salad. Watched the RS work on my puter (maybe I'll learn somethin"). Napped. Hung out in Reoville as a spectator for all the excitement. Made supper. Ate. Stocked my tank. Slow day. Have a nice trip
