I think I would love to travel in that however, I don't think I can do the top bunk thing anymore. The pics Willi posted definately remind me of my Navy days. I probably wouldn't have any problem sleeping once I managed to drag me old feeling bones into it. Might be an all afternoon project though.

These new ones look more comfy now than when i traveled that way.

Is there sum reason u think I'm out of grade skool?

Nope. Still can't spill skool, so....

tried calling Dancin this morning, but I expect she was having tests. Didn't hear so just called again. They got her heart rate back down to 75-80 bpm, her white blood count is pretty high, so they're watching her for infection. As long as no infection develops and her HR stays where it should be, she may be able to go home from the hospital tomorrow, or the next day. She's actually looking forward to going home this time. They made a pin cushion outta the poor lil thing this time.

Thanks for the update! Did she give any clue as to why it spiked? (Pulse, that is.) And hope they get the (potential) infection squared away pronto!

newp........she gets confused about what they do and why etc, she just endures. But one thing I read when I looked it up, said that it happened bout 50% of the time, but dunno if that was reliable or not.

Mainly for the experience, I have taken Amtrak from St Louis to New Orleans on more than one occasion .. it's much quicker to drive, and you have a vehicle when you get there, so you don't have to rent or take a taxi (New Orleans taxi drivers are notorious for ripping you off and I've almost come to popping one in the head at times) .. but Arlo Guthrie was so spot on with "City of New Orleans", it drew me to it .. an acoustic guitar, bring your own cooler, sitting in the Observation Car Lounge was and is a very unique experience .. and, as some know, I love the Delta anyway ..
Have you seen my bucket list?

I have now completed my first ever mash-up for 3D printing.... I've improved my iPad2 shell sound amplifier to the point I felt I could publish it.

Ken,

I'll gladly send ya my ol' TomTom 'One XL' GPS to concoct a 'sun screen visor'; as long as I can get it back prior to da PORCHER ODYSSEY!

I never graduated 5th grade. But I graduated High school and 2 years of tech school. And no GED either.

Yeah but, would da laptop fit twix ya and da ceiling? Not mine! I'd rather slum in da coach car wid a git. And yes Willie, a train hootenanny is a grand hoot; plus, near endless 'beverages' and 'special attention'... <What dear? Oh, nuttin' Just a lil' reminiscing 'bout a lil' train ride waaay back when TAWCASWD...>

BTW, if given a choice of auto, air, or train, I'd take da train every time! Unfortunately, track time co$t has far exceeded inflation...

Wow! I hope they get it right this time. She's really been through it.
