I wish I had some snow covered palm trees here. I have just the regular old coconut covered trees.

I've seen that before way back when I was a kid in Daytona. I have to say it was mostly ice and to me really strange. Old man down about a block from my house had a double lot and one lot was a really nice garden with walk through paths and all. It happened to be right next to the middle school bus stop. He ran the sprinklers overnight to protect the plants from a really hard freeze and they were all covered with about a 1/4" of ice, really beautiful if I had been old enough to appreciate it but, Nooooo! Needless to say when we juvenile delinquents found out they shattered when whacked, we'll let's just say it wasn't pretty. I have felt bad about that for 45 years and it's one of the things I wish I could go back and take back or at least apologize for being part of it. With age come wisdom (for some) and in my older wisdom I realize how much real work and care went into that garden. He fixed it but, it wasn't the same for about two years and when it was finished he had a fence around it and people couldn't walk through it anymore. I was pretty much an idiot at 13 but, aren't we all?Weird? Now this is weird - snow covered palm trees.

Keister is improving. Doc put me on Prednisone and I am in the middle of the course of treatment. 4 more days. Took most of the pain from bruising and such away for the last 5 or 6 days but, as the dosage is starting to be reduced it's coming back. Definately something slightly fractured and it's just going to take a while to get better. Thanks for asking.
We're still planning on being in Deerfield Beach in April but, I think it's going to be more towards the middle of the month. Forgot about the taxes. We don't do our own prep but, have to be around to sign them and write the checks (Virginia has state income tax), never a refund these days! Expecting to leave up here around the 15th and back up here mid May to hopefully pack up for good and move.

I can say that I probably "started" being in idiot at 13. Some reports place me nearing the possible end of that phase. Some reports, particularly GF's, place me at "no end in sight".
I don't regret much of anything, but the regrets I carry today all involve hurting someone when I didn't need to do so or hurting someone and not even realizing they were hurt...
