Beautiful job on the porch Mike!!!

Ok....what I can remember.........

roto.......what an amazing story!

beautiful tree Kenna!!

Birdy, so nice to see you not so bundled up and cold! wish it were for real

Rick, so sorry you're having to deal with that. Just a caution to those who say toss it out when they aren't there. If it's true hoarding that can bring on serious issues. you're right that it is very much about control, because they feel they are so out of control. I hope you can find something that will help.

Our girls don't even try to go out anymore when we open the doors. These are our first "indoor" cats. I keep telling them how lucky they are not to be barn cats, but they just don't get it. I remember years ago, putting one of our kittens out in the snow on the deck for the first time. It was so funny. She had no idea what to do about all that while stuff. I know there are people who leave their dogs out in all kinds of winter weather and it hurts my heart knowing they're out there.
We got one down the street that I really think has left his out all winter. Not sure but I've heard them barking on some pretty cold nights.

Sent while sitting on my busted ..... Stay off the ice if you can't skate. I can't and didn't.

Morning Porchers. I hope everyone is enjoying the new home.

Perfectly appropriate start to the third iteration of the Back porch, I think. Well done, Mike.

In case the harsh weather doesn't break soon, thought some of you could use some heated chairs:

What they lack in comfort, I'm sure they make up for in hot bottoms!

Oh sure. I'll be looking like a well grilled steak in not time flat.

I wish I knew what to say about the hoarding problem. As I've gotten older, I've tried SO hard NOT to accumulate too much stuff. When my husband died, I had a fit of wanting to go through the house and ditch things. I got the shock of my life. My late husband had been hoarding things, and I didn't even know it. I even found $300 cash under our dresser.
