Now, that's quite the appropriate name for the product. :thumb:

Yeah, the programmer must have a Porcher sense of humor :w00t:

While not 100%, it does a pretty good job - and doesn't do anything without user confirmation.

Thanks for your support and good wishes everyone, much appreciated.
Never heard of Lewy body dementia. Is that better or worse? Surely there is something that can be done to help?
Oh it's worse, much worse.
As I understand it, Lewy bodies are clumps of protein which destroy dopamine, a neurotransmitter. In Parkies they're localised in an area of the brain associated with motor control; hence the involuntary tremors. With LBD (also a degenerative disease) they're all over the brain and really screw you up big time. Depression, paranoia, chronic insomnia ... on top of the tremors.

As my friend is so young, there's very little medical treatment for Parkies (or LBD I suspect) as the drugs have such debilitating and harmful side effects.
BUT there are two rays of hope.
Firstly, she may not have Parkies at all, it could just be a rare form of distonia (don't ask!).
Secondly, if Parkies is confirmed, they reckon they could fit implants deep in her brain to stop the tremors. Risky, but better than strong drugs at her age.

Sorry to bang on about it but neither of us had realised what a terrible thing Parkies is (let alone LBD) or how little is known about it - especially early onset Parkies. There are good support groups here but, even after three years, I think she's still partially in denial and doesn't want to use them.

(Handy tip: If anyone you know loses their sense of smell and starts shaking and/or getting mood swings a few years later, think Parkies.)

And yep that's a Glock G19. Us old burnouts aren't known for having steady hands but I do OK with it.
Well I was going to go "Old USPSA Shooter" , but why brag on stuff I can't do anymore? I had $2500+ tied up in gun and gear. And I spent so much time on the range and on the re-loading bench, it was nuts. I really do need to get out and kill some cardboard sometime. But why kill memories with reality?

arrgghh! Tell me ... a couple of 'falls' ago I bought a new Husqvarna leaf blower. The next spring I could couldn't get it started. Then noticed gas running all over it. The gas line had dissolved. And it was drained of gas before I stored it for the winter.

I now add a gas additive to counteract ethanol for all my yard equipment.

Silly man, you thought I was talking about money didn't you....:D
Ha! Why do they always think we're talking about money!?

Thanks for the welcome. I have been vaping since November and also smoke free since then. Never thought I would quit smoking but once I starting vaping I never went back. Love the porch
WElcome...somehow I missed you yesterday. These folk made me feel right at home and took me under their wings a couple weeks ago. Can't imagine what I would have done without them!

We have a Glock, but what I'd really like to have just one of is a shiny Desert Eagle. .50 caliber.
This one's bad ...:

My protagonist, Richard Noggin, (aka Dick Head) has one in my last book. He calls her Desiree, but has to pitch her in the water lilies after he uses her. So sad. It was a dramatic loss.

Susan, I don't know if you've ever seen it but, the movie "Snatch" has a great "Double Eagle .50" routine in it. Funny as hell too. It's a Guy Ritchie movie, follow on to "Lock, Stock and 2 Smoking Barrels." You'll like it if you like British humor.

I love British humor. I'll have to check that one out. My book, Naked Alliances, hasn't been published yet, but there is quite a bit of comic relief in there. Situational comedy mostly.

ohhhhh loved the SRV video, but forgot to open it in youtube, so when I went to the next page it cut off :( ......but was no issue at all to listen to it all over again!

Once in awhile I have issues where I don't sleep many hours at a time, but I usually sleep at least 8 hrs, just at odd times. So the 24 doesn't mess with me. Sometimes I don't sleep well at first, but that's due to pain.

How did you know you were the one I was talking about?

I figured there's other, real reasons. Have bouts of insomnia myself. Most times I only sleep 4-5 hours a night. I picked up that habit when I drove a truck for UPS Freight for a couple of years. They work long days and I had a long commute on top of it. Walked around like a zombie M-F.

Very sorry if you are hurting, my friend.

Probably still a lot better than me on my best day. I don't reload yet so no gun games for me. Really want to get a press and some .357 mag dies for my revolver and .223 dies for my rifle. You are welcome to come to our range here anytime. :thumb:

Good time at the range today. Got to shoot a few before people started coming in.

I know I'm awake, but I read that as "Got to shoot a few people". Heh Heh Maybe my brain is subconsciously going places.

Seems like Porchers are having trouble getting to sleep. I wonder if it has anything to do with vaping 24mg juice. :w00t:

For me I don't believe it has anything to do with vaping 24 mg juice. I have no problems falling asleep. I have trouble STAYING asleep.
