good afternoon folks :)
Hey Sterno. Good chatin' with ya last PM. I'm having to spend less time in the hang out to get my writing done. I'm on a roll now. Too many conversations going on in my head gets confusing. Good to see ya here!

Do any of you like a really really good chocolate vape? I have some coming and I don't care for chocolate I found out after trying some. May be 2 weeks to a month away. I will probably send out some 10ml bottles. I have 50ml coming and you only use 1.5-2%max. very concentrated.

As much as I LOVE chocolate, I'm not overly fond of gunking up my coils.

Itz quick n' ez. No problem BUT you may want to search for "classic start menu". I'd be lost without that. Free prog.

And one of the few Windows 8.1 apps that I fully approve of.:)

Spell checker makes me crazy. I found my spot here on the porch not my spit. Lol. The strangest things come out of my iPad. Just never know what it might say as it now has a mind of it's own

As a one fingered typist these days I really appreciate autocomplete, but it really does take longer to do that last check to make sure I didn't make too embarrassing a gaffe.:D

Thanks for your support and good wishes everyone, much appreciated...

As my friend is so young, there's very little medical treatment for Parkies (or LBD I suspect) as the drugs have such debilitating and harmful side effects.
BUT there are two rays of hope.
Firstly, she may not have Parkies at all, it could just be a rare form of distonia (don't ask!).
Secondly, if Parkies is confirmed, they reckon they could fit implants deep in her brain to stop the tremors. Risky, but better than strong drugs at her age.

Sorry to bang on about it but neither of us had realised what a terrible thing Parkies is (let alone LBD) or how little is known about it - especially early onset Parkies. There are good support groups here but, even after three years, I think she's still partially in denial and doesn't want to use them.

(Handy tip: If anyone you know loses their sense of smell and starts shaking and/or getting mood swings a few years later, think Parkies.)

My almost ex (different issues) husband was diagnosed with Parkinson's at 38, but it should have been several years earlier -too many Doctors don't know about young onset Parkinson's and kept ruling it out because of his age. There are some good drugs for young onset but they do try to delay the levidopa/carbidopa for as long as possible

The deep brain stimulator was just being approved when he was diagnosed, but he did have it done a couple of years ago, and it is pretty close to miraculous for the movement symptoms. Depression is definitely a Parkinson's symptom at way higher rates than for other chronic diseases.

Didn't mean to go into full blown Parkinson's lecture mode, but I did spend 24 years researching it, so if you would like to pm (nope, start a conversation with) me.

And in my news, Liz did find a temporary home for Loki. Complete with kids, which is a new experience for him, but he seems to like. He's still kinda stressed over everything, but at least he is staying at a good stable place.

I've had to give up on the stealth vaping idea for now. I got a new roommate who is staying while she has radiation for lung cancer. And no matter how firmly I believe in the safety of vaping, I just can't bring myself to do it.

So I'm going to have to order some nicotine lozenges, but I'd forgotten how much they cost. It didn't seem that bad when I was comparing the cost to cigarettes, but compared to DIY liquid...

I just sent an organic one that was really, really good to someone else cause chocolate just isn't my thing. Makes me crave Godiva, the only chocolate I eat, and I can't afford it. Why? You giving it away?

So true. I have to have total silence with no interruptions when I'm on a roll. But I'll go nuts if I don't break away for real life interaction every few hours. I know I'm difficult to live with.

Uh Scott, did you make a wrong turn back at the last corner... Hehe - he said he never ventured off the Reo porch. Welcome to the Greatest Porch on ECF... :D:D:D
It is the magnetism of Deb's mysterious personality that does it.
