This was the original kitchen when we moved into this house. It was a dark cave. It didn't last long and we removed all the artificial brick and painted the cabinets a light teal-green.

The the 2nd make-over we repainted the cabinets again. This time white. It's been this way for 'bout the last 20 years.

And this is the recent total makeover. We're so pleased with it.

But we still miss 'the duck'. We still haven't figured out where to hang the wet dish towels in the new kitchen.

Even our son's first comment when he saw the new kitchen. Where's the duck?

Beautiful Kitchen Mike (and Janet!)!! We are in the hangout trying to figure out where to put the duck. but love the counter tops and the stainless appliances. Just wonderful!!!! Congratulations!

What do you think of the graphics during the halftime show? I haven't watched the live part of the game. Do they have the arrows and circles and such on it?

I didn't watch the halftime stuff so I don't know what it had.

Did a lil' Google on 'nationalism vs patriotism' and almost puked! Do believe that that the 'popular' mind set is a residual effect of the 'recent' near Third Reich and supporters of the 'New World Order'. Am I a conspiratorial theory supporter? Noper, I like to think that I'm a knowledgeable patriotic and nationalistic veteran*! Oh, by the way...

Thanks again Willie. I watched that The Last Waltz last night in bed and tonight I listened to it again while I was putting together a jigsaw puzzle. All my favs where in it. I can't believe I had never watched it. I don't watch much but if you recommend something. . . I always listen.

Mike & Janet, now that I am starting to cook again. . . I need a new kitchen. Dad's has not changed one single bit since 1969. Which is pretty cool cause I know where everything is but boy does it need updating. That looks awesome.

Figuring out how to work the oven was a trip though. Directions told me how to adjust all kinds of things, but not how to just turn it on! They go to so much trouble to write those instruction books. You'd think they'd have at least 1 person who speaks native English read it over before printing it.

Ken, I'd have baked you a cake, but even with broadband, it's tough to shove one thru the current Infrastructure .. I do hear Google is working on that, though ..
