I actually have had no problems with FT. A little slow (relative term) but I have always gotten what I ordered and never had a problem with returns. I guess it's consistency that they have a problem with. I also have my ordering specifics on file with them, we'll see how it goes once we move and I have to change some of the on file information.
Neither did I until PP stopped shipping their stuff. (Explanation) Have a US account. Want to ship to Canada. PP says.... nope. So have to order, then cancel, then change address, then re-order. As far as their products... no real problem. Just "doing the PP dance" sucks anymore.

As long as you don't have to change your email address you should be fine. I had no problem with address and phone number changes when we moved and later when I had to change cell providers. But I had an old paid email address that was getting to cost more than it was worth, so I had gradually quit using it and changed things over - kind of a pain, but generally pretty easy, even on the sites the used my email address as my login. fasttech, however, could not change my email on my existing account, so I lost my order history and my wish list.

Well I've already ranted bout fast tech and my first & only transaction with them. Way back last Dec. So I won't re-rant it now. But I had such a crappy time I don't even look at their site for anything, I don't care how cheap it is. If I could burn them the way they burnt me there would be a atomic bomb size crater in China.and as for they're customer service, they seemed to forget how to speak English or even reply to e-mails as soon as I said "refund" for a D.O.A. product.

am I understanding this right? you can't use PP for FT......but you can by e-cig things on ebay and use PP.....
No, you can use PP. My problem is I need it shipped to Canada instead of my US PP address. But as far as their products... no complaints outside of the wait.

As said, PP for FT works fine - it's ALL I use there, data security is bad enough here!

I use room darkening shades in our bedroom. I would completely cover the windows but Doree would have a fit. She likes light everywhere during the daytime. After 20 years in the Navy and living in berthing compartments that where totally (and i mean TOTALLY) dark, I like it really dark when I am trying to sleep. Have gotten somewhat used to it since I retired but, still prefer total darkness.
I agree that the berthing was totally dark and I got very used to it. However, the compartments were never quite and at home I have to have a fan going for white noise. I can not go to sleep if it is quite. Well, I take that back. When I go on my annual hunt to eastern Oklahoma I have no problem going to sleep at night in the quiet of the camp. There is just something about the cool evenings and distant calls of the coyotes that is extremely soothing.

Good Morning, good people, and it IS indeed a good morning! Prayer works! Yesterday afternoon, the scope revealed that there was a large, deep, inflamed ulcer in the bottom of Dad's stomach. It is sitting right on top of a blood vessel, hence the blood loss. They are going to treat him, and he should be all right. How he never felt anything more than nausea is beyond me, but it is what it is. Call me selfish, but I'm not quite ready to be an orphan yet.

Roto - so glad they figured out what was wrong. Continued prayers for a speedy recovery.

That's AWESOME Roto!!!! So glad to hear it. Will continue to pray for you and your dad!

My brother had a herniated disk. He had out-patient surgery, they made a small incision and went in and shaved it off. He feels great! Too good...he's supposed to take it easy for a couple of months but keeps forgetting because he feels so good. Maybe that's an option for you guys?

I was not a candidate for surgery either - but in my case they said I was not "bad" enough to risk surgery. I am pretty good most of the time - just acts up when I have to do things that cause me to bend at a certain angle too much and I have to watch how long I sit in some (most) chairs. With physio and exercise I can even do some golfing now - so I can't complain too much :)

Roto, as I said in my few minutes in the hangout last night, I am so relieved with your father's condition!

I am sorry I cut out so quickly, didn't mean to be rude, but my best friend had some drunk/drugged kids crash their car through her front yard and she wanted to talk. No one was hurt, but her front fence and yard are trashed. Insured, but a mess. The driver, who got rather belligerent and rude, was hauled off by the cops.

Looking forward to an update on Dancin!

I know I missed a few things, came home today from a lousy weekend (thankfully hubby in TX had a great show!) and the little bugger (Geordi) is home again. He is exhausted from all the play with his sister! I will say, Tasha is a happy girl.

I agree and use the same thing to make a little white noise. The main reason I can sleep in the hinterland with the extreme quiet is I haven't sat down all day and half the night and I am exhausted! ;)

Dancin had her surgery this am. Her daughter called me about 1:30 pm (I'd only been in bed a couple hours so didn't get up to update then) She did have the bypass. There was more to replace on the heart valve than they had anticipated, but it went well. They had planned at that point to keep her sedated several more hours before trying to wake her, and her daughter was going to call me after they woke her, but she didn't, so not sure if she was just worn out, or if they kept her sedated longer, so if I don't hear from her before I go to bed tomorrow, I'll call her for another update. She really appreciates everyone's prayers and concern.
