Yeah once they get in there and find more it's a little bit of a problem. The doc was thinking of replacing my aortic root but it would have left him with no mitral valve. Don't know if they have to special order them or what. Did she go with biologic or mechanical or did she have a choice?

Yeah that is better ICU can be pretty scary and noisy. Did she know this was coming or did she have a heart attack?
she knew something was wrong, but didn't have a heart attack, went to the doc, doc heard the valve not acting right, sent her to the ER, admitted from there, so she had a couple days to wrap her head around the surgery. She does have a heart pillow for coughing, and incentive spirometer. Don't know what they used for the valve. her BP is usually low and this certainly doesn't help. But glad they're able to give her good meds. Hate that you had to go through this too and still have issues.

lol kay....she did have her daughter bring her laptop back up to the hospital today, but don't expect to see her for a few days at least. Hope ya had a good outing

Yeah if you have a bad valve your BP is usually low because it is not opening and closing correctly from stenosis. It's too bad she had to have the bypass too they have gotten so good with replacing valves through a catheter but I don't think they can do a bypass that way.

Diver, have you ever made a vape stand? I find that I'd like a custom stand for my mod's and atties. At least then I'd know everything would fit.
I have looked at a few for possible patterns. However, I am a bit hesitant to use some of the tools due to being on pills. To say nothing about being on my feet that much.

Diver, sheesh, sounds like you need a partial spine transplant! Hopefully, as procedures improve they will come up with something that will give you relief.
About 8 years ago I had C4, C5, & C6 fused in my neck. I have continued problems from that operation. So, I am really afraid for fusing 4 or 5 fusions in my lumbar. The episodes of paralysis and other problems are extremely high. I know of others who had the same operation and had worse problems after than they had before.

Diver, that's just another Fox story designed to "feed the outrage machine" no matter how much the facts have to be twisted. It is remarkable how many outlets made no attempt to vet Fox's claims, and just republished them verbatim.
Gender Spender : snopes.com

It's much more difficult to be totally shocked when the facts that Fox omitted or twisted are known. However, it's 15 years old, not 16 years old! :)
Dang, I hate it when a conservative news service stoops to the same actions as the liberals. Thanks for letting me know.

Hey, @Debadoo Happy Birthday! It is your day so go out and enjoy it. Uh, if you do take a cab, I don't think anyone is near to bail you out. :bday::banana::toast:.

hehehe Never was one much for goin out drinkin, if I drink I tend to do it at home. Wouldn't mind have some sailor jerry's rum, but not available. Hmmm on someone else's bday, I do recall requesting a pic of a giant bottle of drambuie from Uncle Willie in lieu of roses. lol I got iced coffee this morning and pad thai for lunch, and many wonderful wishes from all the super folks here that mean so much to me! And got to see my son for a few minutes, so it's been a good day

Thanks Amy!!!

I see that Washington State passed a budget anyone know if ecigs were included?

As far as I know, they were not. So if so, a win this year, and keep up the education of society to try to avert the same or worse next year, when they need more $$$

Hey MFS where I get my nic has a 20% off all unflavored nic. I always get the 125ml 100mg because it comes in glass bottles all bubble wrapped goes right in the freezer. Price $14.40 thats pretty darned good. I get it there because I can get it already mixed to 50/50 with my VG/PG from ECX already mixed to 50/50 makes it so easy to mix juice with flavors that only take 2-3%. 100ml takes me about 5min max.
