Semi, sorry you've got such a long trip to see the doc, but hopefully it'll be worth it and you don't have to do it very often. There is a device you hook on your cell phone that can do a lot of diagnostic work that looks promising, but I think it hasn't caught on yet. It's probably in our future though.
Don't want to have much to do with Facebook since it's so intrusive, but I signed up to see what our kids are up to. It's a nice way to share photos or contact a lot of people all at once. Checking on it once a month or so is enough for me though. It's amazing that so many people evidently can't function without posting several times a day.
Amoret, great to hear of your progress! Going home is getting closer every day!
Sorry to hear about your CC. As Mike said we've had it happen to us several times. Fortunately the bank caught it quickly.
Congratulations on winning the Disruptor! At least that was a bright spot in your life right now. You have such a pretty collection of devices too!
What kind of phone do you have that has a battery that heats up so hot. That's pretty scary!
Roto, that's great news to hear your Dad is doing so much better. that's pretty smart to get your rest before heading off to work. You won't be good to anybody if you end up in trouble from being over tired.
Deb, thanks so much for keeping us updated on Dancin. So glad she's feeling pretty good given that kind of surgery!
Hope they can do something for your son's foot quickly.
Miles was here for the day yesterday. We had summer downpours a few times so we went out on the deck for a science lesson. He was fascinated watching the wind and rain, but not too pleased about feeling the rain on his arm! He put on his mad face. Pretty funny on a 7 mo old. Then we came in and I gave him his first taste of banana baby food. He's got quite an array of "sour" faces when it comes to new food. I think he doesn't know what to do with the pieces in the food, but he did eat it. I gave him some small pieces of watermelon and wish I'd had the camera for that one. You might have thought it was a lemon! No way he was eating it. So, today is catch up.
The istick is still working after it's dip in the pool. Amazing. Mike saved it by jumping in to get it so quickly. I'm a little less concerned about it blowing up on me, but probably will never really trust it. Of course I did drop my iPhone in the toilet and it worked fine afterward so...
