The ProVari is a great mod. However there is a lot to be said for consumable mods. The MVP can be had for 30-40 dollars. It will perform well in the range that most people use their expensive mods and even if it only lasts a year you could go through 4 pr 5 of them before you break even with the ProVari. I can take my MVP everywhere I go and I won't worry about losing it or breaking it. If I want the extra power that a ProVari provides I use my mech and can vape much higher wattage.

You sure are welcome! Looks like you already found us on the back porch. We'll find you a nice comfy cushion for that chair - don't let Iffy do it - his makes funny sounds!!

I covet all y'all's stuff! :D If I had even half of what you guys have, I'd think I was rich! But I'm sure I'll get there, considering how I'm going already... eRoll... 3 wks later, iTaste vv3... lots of juices, most of which I either don't think I like, or they just need to sit in the dark for awhile... and today I have GOT to get some more needle tips, it's the only possible way to fill these eRoll tanks, and seems the most sensible way to fill anything else, too. *sigh*

Oh my ARO has shipped... YAY!!! NC isn't that far away, so I should have it early next week, god willin and no more snowpocalypse... :D

Yay! Vapemail!!

One day last week, I needed 2-300 feet of Cat5e cable for a job, so (kicking and screaming, I'm a country boy) I went "to town"... Columbus GA.

My very first stop was Rite Aid pharmacy, to finally pick up some sterile rolled cotton... MUCH better than the cotton balls I found in the bathroom when I first started with cotton wicks.

Between the fresh cotton and the Aerotank bases, these 3 Protanks have performed flawlessly. Nice clean hits, easy draw, good taste, good wicking, no leaks, no gurgles, no problems whatsoever.

I keep saying I need to shift my focus from hardware to juice, but that hasn't happened yet... still using Hangsen RY1 @ 1 drop/ml. and my wife is happy with Cappuccino at the same ratio. I just hate the idea of potentially wasting money buying flavors or premixes online, only to find I don't like them... kinda like buying mail-order shoes, how do you know if they'll fit/feel right?

Next week, I will order some flavors, making a list as we speak.

(now if I can just get Janet H to give me her recipe for "Janet's Heaven) :D

Is that the one with pomegranate in it?... or was the pom. in one of Iffy's recipes?

Ah, headed out the door, I'll give you recipes later today. Iffy came up with Janet's Heaven after I gave him the flavor ideas and it's been a favorite of ours for us ever since. The pomegranate I mix at 20% with approx. drop of lemon juice per 3 mls.

I don't disagree with the money math. I just don't like banking my vaping future on disposable devices at this point. In reality I use my mechanical REOs more than anything else and cigalikes to drive with. SO my expensive devices don't leave the house anyways.

I couldn't stand cigalikes. They were the reason I could never successfully quit smoking.

I agree they are not great but they are better than nothing when driving. I have small hands and arthritis. I can't use anything much bigger and hold onto these modern fat steering wheels.

Iffy's Janet's Heaven (blueberry/pear)

Since the two individual flavs below are also my daily vapes, I mix each flav independently and then combine 50/50.

Blueberry (VZ Super Concentrate) at 2.5%.
Pear (TPA) at 12%.
1 drop Real Lemon® juice per 3ml joose. And no, you do not taste the LJ.

Once I use up my TPA Pear flavoring, I will try the VZSC Pear and let ya'll know how it compares.

Again, thanx to Janet for the flavs suggestion!

It's funny you saying that, about driving... We have to go do the grocery shopping, and I was realizing that the iTaste isn't really well suited to going out with, so I got my charged eRoll out of the PCC... geez it's so nothing after the iTaste! But I guess it's a better nothing than *nothing*! :thumb:

Hello all!

After climbing out of bed, stumbling into the kitchen to make coffee, I headed to the bathroom to brush the toofers and one look in the mirror, I realized, I am a complete and utter failure!!!! 30 yrs ago, my intent was to 'Party hard, die young, and leave a pretty corpse!" I have completely failed in that regard!

On using 100mg nic....I have a 500ml bottle in the freezer, never opened and have no intention of opening unless it becomes necessary. I've been diy'ing with 48 mg, not because I'm worried about the 100mg, I was trained in toxic chemicals, but because that's my 'vapocolypse' stash. I plan to continue using the 48mg and ordering another bottle next week. It just makes me feel better to know it's in there, should the SHTF.

Got a question for those of you with Zmax mods, or any similar. What is this I hear about the 'Rattlesnake rattle"?? Is it really that bothersome? I hear some won't even use their mod because of it. I'd trust ya'll's judgement on this more so than some people on the boards. My eGo's and toppers whistle like h*ll and although I don't like it, it doesn't stop me from using them.

Opinions and advice?

Thanks ya'll!

I never make typos, never need to make corrections and never fib.

Actually, I have probably edited at least 50% of my posts. I feel that making myself clear is a strong suit, so I'm constantly messing with the way I say something to remove as many possible misinterpretations as possible.

I also have an uncanny ability to find a non-obnoxious way of saying something only after I've posted in some other manner, and frequently edit for that reason.

Nothing can drive me crazy, because I live close enough to walk.

The MBV Graham Cracker plus MBV Spearmint flavored juice that I made about 3 days ago is now tolerating slightly higher wattage than it did when I first tried it. Still, I'm surprised that the combination likes less power than any other liquid I've ever mixed. It's got to be the graham cracker component, which I'm using for the first time. I have no hesitation about using spearmint in any mix. No matter how strange a combination might sound, I've not mixed anything that wasn't better with some spearmint.

THe rattlesnake sound...

My Vamo does it. Most if not all devices that use the 33 chip do it. The sound does not bother me but apparently annoys my hubby. SO it seems to vary alot from one person to another.

My wife is the same way!! If my pipe makes any noise at all she gives me that look!!! Hope I don't start making noises breathing. I'd be a dead man for sure!!! :toast:

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't that also an advantage to getting a Provari? Did I read somewhere that they don't rattle?

I'm guessing, since there is no chip, mods don't rattle either?
