re: an overfilled Zippo... Makes my left thigh burn just thinking about it... usta hate when that happened! I wonder how many smokers-turned-vapers still have their good old Zippo(s). I do, but they're languishing in the "collectibles" box on the top shelf of my safe.

I think it would be easier for me to lay my hands on my naptha lighter fluid than my zippo. There are a few of them sitting in a box somewhere, but I haven't seen them for at least a few moves. I think I got the first one back when I still thought Heineken was cool Regan might have been in office at the time. Possibly Carter.

Well I liked it for a little while but while trying to keep enough juice in to not taste burnt I flooded my kayfun so went back to my 1.4 ohm and 3.5v. Works well for me. I use a 50/50 blend in everything. Sooo much for that. Everyone is different just like everything else but one thing I am really impressed with my $25 kayfun no question there.

True and as long as we stay away from the stinkies everything is good.

Today I got my liter of nicotine already repackaged into the very reasonably priced 125 ml bottles I ordered with it, all correctly labeled, well packaged and ready for all but one to go directly into the freezer, individual bubble wrap and zip lock bag and all.

So I need to do a special thanks to DancingHeretik for being assertive for me about getting a liter of 100 mg nicotine broken down into bottles I can safely handle, and a shout out to My Freedom Smokes for doing so. Today I got my liter of nicotine already repackaged into the very reasonably priced 125 ml bottles I ordered with it, all correctly labeled, well packaged and ready for all but one to go directly into the freezer, individual bubble wrap and zip lock bag and all.

So now I can continue on with my DIY with reasonably priced nicotine and very little risk, since I'll just be putting it into a wide mouth pint canning jar with the pg and vg and using it already diluted from there.

I'm glad to hear that everything worked out. Props to MFS.

Heineken is the only light beer I really like. I prefer a nice dark pilsner usually.
Tried a few beer vapes, and ... Um ... No.

That's awesome amoret. Not only nice they did it for you but that they went the extra mile doing it and nicely labeling it. Try getting Amazon, Walmart or any big store to do something like that. MFS was a good vendor in my book before, now it's a great one. Glad it worked out so well for you.

Xtar VP4, very nice charger. If the Nitecore was only suppose to get slightly warmer than this one does, according to the thermal images Sloth posted, the Nitecore was a dud out of the box. What were the chances of that? It was much warmer. No way for me to really know if I was overreacting to the Nitecore without just getting another one. Nice not having to worry something is going to spontaneously combust or explode.

Alien viusions i think was on top but they don't ship to where i am.

Ordered some from itc vapes , ok better slow down but will add names to my list.

It could be they just have them loose in the photos for creative advertising purposes. I do agree though, if they truly aren't packaged at all, that would be a huge red flag for me as well.

Good Life Vapor and Nicoticket both make very good stuff. Don't know if they ship international, though.

hey Wolfenstark, welcome to the porch. I know you've been here a bit, but I have been MIA with work and stuff and more stuff. Click my sig and take a look around at Nickoticket, I believe they ship to OZ, I haven't gotten a bad juice yet from them.

Just checking in, good conversations about the KFL's, still liking mine. I just took all the air control screws out of them and have added good wide bore tips and they are doing great. 28ga on 2mm screwdriver, 7wraps comes out to about 1.5 +- and all is good. Messing with organic cotton, but have some rayon and KGD on the way to try. Also good tip on checking to see if the air holes on the ELPro's are lined up. Fortunately mine are as I wouldn't really have thought of that. Gotta get back to work so, check in later. I swear I was almost caught up yesterday and then had to feed, came back and there were 5 more pages. You guys are fast.

Have a great day all ohhhh I passed my 6 mo, look at that savings, oh yeah right, I spent half that I'm sure, but it was/is fun!!

I'm glad the new one is working out! If the Nitecore was much hotter, then something was definitely different between your chargers and the ones that were reviewed on Lygte-Info.dk. That's surprising to me, but not hard to believe at all. The charger is basically producing around 4V at around .5A (or up to 1A depending on the model). That's only 2W or 4W, which isn't a tremendous amount of power. And, a lot of that is getting stored in the battery rather than converted to heat. So, the charger and battery really shouldn't be getting very warm if it's working properly. Definitely sounds like you got a lemon the first time around.

I've been using rayon and really do like it better than Cotton. Phil Busardo has a good comparison of cotton, rayon, and KGD here:

Based just on that video, I would probably have gone with the KGD. I think Phil ended up deciding it was a wash between rayon and KGD, with the rayon lasting a little longer, but the KGD wicking a little better.
