With my twisted 32ga, wrapping on my 2mm knitting needle is easy. I pull it tight, and squeeze it when I am finished. They look nice.

My BVC coil in the Russian was easier than a horizontal coil. I left the knitting needle parked in the air-hole until I had the rayon installed. Not fussy at all.

Last night, while doing inventory for my Bargain Grab-Bag, I came across a spare size 60 o-ring that I had bought for my old Vamo. Two o-rings on the chimney solved my leak problem with my Orchid, but hadn't solved it on my Russian. I put that smaller and thicker ring on the Russian chimney. No leaks at all. It was a tight fit.

Thanks. I'm amazed how Rip packs more info into a 7:35 video than others do in a 30:00 video. I won't name names, but "can I taste your joose?", lol.

What I'd really like to know is if anyone here has done that build. I figure if it's too difficult for the 2nd least skillful coil-builder here, it's too difficult for the least skillful coil-builder here, who is moi. I'm really just trying to establish an emergency procedure if for some reason it becomes impossible to purchase new BVCs.

Janet and I tried the dual coil build on a BDC - FAIL! We never revisited 'it', maybe some evening we'll get around to trying a single coil rebuild.

It takes some of us geezers longer to absorb the information, hence the longer videos. We need people to talk slower and enunciate their words with lots of visual aids to help it sink it. ;)

I ordered two of the "dead" dna 30 clone boxes from elev8. They shipped them the same day as I ordered them. Still haven't seen them yet and it's been a week. Oh, and I had them shipped priority mail. According to tracking they went in the post office in Brooklyn, NY on Oct. 20th and were scheduled for delivery on the 22nd. That was the last I heard of them till yesterday. Yesterday the USPS site said they had arrived in Beth Page, NY. 4 days from Brooklyn to Bethpage. Jeez! and that's priority mail. They left Bethpage this morning. Site still says they are scheduled for delivery on Wednesday, October 22. That would be a neat trick!

This fine print is a not so subtle reminder to always read the fine print before signing anything.

Has anyone here rebuilt a BVC for the nautilus?

here's one

Hope someone can come up with a less fussy method!

Couple o' thoughts:
- I wonder if using a 'longer' cotton wrap would eliminate da tedious 'stuffing' exercise?
- RiP said da draw was tight, even using da largest air hole. Maybe drill out da pin a tad?

We had a package like that but it sat in some obscure post office for a week. Turned out the label fell off. Also heard of packages falling behind the conveyer belts and resting there peacefully for a week. Yours sounds like a dual reality thing going on.

We went to the PO with a single sheet of tracking info printed out. The postmaster handed us three pages of tracking info. As usual, the gov. doesn't tell you everything. If the problem persists, you might go down and inquire as to what the heck is going on. Take the printout with you. It was still another week before we got ours--had to go back to the shipper and be resent--but at least we got it.

A while back, I think that someone posted a link to a video for building a Nautilus BVC coil. I'm not sure, because I never did check out the link.

Has anyone here rebuilt a BVC for the Nautilus?

I watched a video of someone doing it but I'm not going to bother.
When my items arrive I will try and build a coil for the kayfun clone I'm getting.
Will stick to buying replacement bvc's for the nautilus.

Hi All,

Just wanted to introduce myself and stop by to say hello. My name is Ginger and I smoked for about 47 years. Although I was a light smoker (3 - 4 a day) I knew it was time to give it up. Although I've had a puff or two along the way, haven't really had a cigarettes for 1 year come December. Vaping is just great!
Would love to join you Vapers on the Front Porch....anyone from New Jersey by the way?
