I intend to do that very thing, once I get actually "settled in" with this... lord knows, I'll now have $176/mo that I WAS spending on cigarettes... surely the ol man won't object to me spending half that much on vape stuff... ;) Especially if I let him spend the other half... heh :D

Fortunately I haven't [yet] seen any kind of legis-crap here in GA; who knows, maybe they'll be enlightened about it; they keep bragging on TV about how GA is "friendly to business" with tax breaks and so on... and because of Atlanta, there's somewhat more of an enlightened attitude about many things -- they're even considering the medical herbs... :D Just don't mention same-sex marriage round here, the southern baptists will have a hissy fit. :D But I don't believe there is any tobacco grown in this state, too hot I reckon, so it might just fly, down here, without interference from BT.

Ooooh ooooh ooooh I got a bottom-coil clearomizer just now at the local B&M when I stopped in for needle tips... and this thing rocks!!! The Virginia tastes just fine in it, so the problem was the iClear after all! And now I don't have to refill every 5 minutes... ;) It's a kanger T3S, cost 9.99, but worth it not having to wait for vapemail... I've lovin it... no it's not McDs, it's vaping!!!!

I'm sitting here enjoying something I haven't in many years... a cup of [decaf] coffee and a "smoke" -- ok I know it's not smoke, don't anybody freak out. But after 16 yrs of having to go outside, and for the last 10 or so not even being able to smoke in restaurants, this really *is* a novel experience! But I think I have to give the tea a rest a for awhile; after just 32 hrs without a smoke, my tastebuds apparently believe gotterdammerung has arrived. EVERYTHING tastes weird -- how long does it take for that to go away?

Andria

Andria, I read the last few pages to get caught up and see that you are now analog free! Congrats sweetie!! And glad you found a topper that works for you, it makes all the difference in the world. I love my glass clearos, and the taste of my juices changed for the better immediately.

hehehehe I saved time by so far only using the devices that take the Kanger coils. Then I don't have to remember which goes with what.

I had alot of false starts with clearos when I first got started.

My REdux CE5s don't use the same head as the 3 vivi novas...HOWL.

I have a protank1 and a bunch of evods which are somewhat interchangeable but then I got a pair of SMOK PBC V1s which will not use the protank heads and use their own head which I frankly cant tell from a protank head by sight :p

Then I have the aspire.

Also have the ceramic cups for the divers .

LOL it was becoming a confusing mess.

Andria be sure to save that coil when you change it out as it can be rebuilt. That's the videos I was watching today. You may not want to mess with that now, but just keep the used ones in a baggie for future rebuilds. So happy your are finding what works for you.
Myrany I have accumulated a variety of items as well through my years. I have purged most of the things I just won't use anymore already. Kept a couple boxes of cartos and a carto tank, don't ask why as I'm sure I'll never use them:p I've got some containers like that I've used for my scrapbook stuff and know there are at least a couple empty...so will pull those out for sure.

Good choice on the T3S, Andria. Although it isn't glass, they do produce a nice vape. And that price isn't too far out of line for a B&M.

From my experience, the T3S heads will work in most of the bottom coil units, the ProTank line, Evods, Davides and so on. Er, the single coil models, some of the newer Davides have gone to dual coil, and that's a different animal - but easy to convert back to single coil.

And now you may also have one answer - you prefer the bottom coils :)

Yeah, this thing kicks ....! I was so afraid that I'd have to start all over in my search for a tobacco taste I can stand, but with this bottom coil, it tastes exactly right, none of that burnt celery taste -- and the throat hit is terrific, so much better than with the eRoll, which only gave me a decent throat hit on the very first hit out of the charger. I do have that ARO pyrex on the way, which I got for $5.99, but now I don't have to wait till it gets here to enjoy my new iTaste! I figured since I've been so successful all week and especially today, abstaining from that morning smoke, I DESERVED it! :D

The ol man is loving it, except for my stupid nose -- it was already nearly bloodhound-quality, NOW it's just gone completely hyperdrive, even the smell of popcorn is just... uggghhhh... that popcorn is STALE and he is irked that I can smell THAT. He has NO discernible sense of smell whatsofreakingever, so of course it just annoys the hell out of him that I smell gnat farts. :D

With potential for a real vapocalypse I am not purging anything I might be able to get working. Optimal vape? NOPE but better than no vape in my book.

I am so glad the bottom coil idea is working out for you!

I second holding on to your used heads for the new devices. Just rinse them out and let them dry. Stick them in a baggie. That way if you ever find you want to recoil them you have plenty to work with. If you never decide to rebuild there are plenty of people here on ECF that would love to have them. Also it gives you a little protection should the manufacturer change the design and the ones you need no longer be available.

Thanks, me too! That's very cool about this thing I just got, I had no idea it was that cool a device -- I just told the guy I needed a bottom-coil because the iClears were so hot; he showed me the expensive ones *of course* (the aerotank and mini protank and mini davide, and HIS prices are astronomical compared to online!)... but then I asked about the ones on the bottom, which he seemed reluctant to show me, but agreed that they were indeed bottom-coil, just not glass... so I got one! It wasn't the sale he was hoping for, I'm sure, but hey, I got that and 3 needle tops, so it wasn't a TOTAL wash for him! :D That's like 3 visits where I bought something in 3 wks, so he oughta know I'm a good customer, just a poor one. :D

You're right, right now I wouldn't have the foggiest about rebuilding this stuff, but later... :D I'll definitely save it, because I *do* want to be ready if the gov't igmos decide to be total a$$hat idiots about all this. But maybe enough of THEM will stop smoking because of vaping, and will keep it from being any kind of total landslide.

Sorry to hear about your snow, but.. Iowa means "snow" in some native-american language, doesn't it? :p it probably ought to! :D

So Ken the kick from FT is not advised...the Silencer VV Adapter seems a little pricey, but maybe not compared to the risk of shorting things out (my main concern). I was about to pull the trigger on this til I read you post. Any other suggestions?

The vape-apocalypse thing is starting to worry me. The 'meat heads' in DC are so money and power hungry the give a hoot what the truth may be. We are in real trouble, I'm prepin' (been doin' it a while, too) for vape-apocalypse.

OMG...on the local news they have now put out a warning that we should all let our water trickle 24/7 to reduce broken water pipe/main issues. It's been a long winter and unfortunately the next week still looks to be crazy cold. Shoot buying water in this town is kind of like buying gold, but much less expensive than paying for pipe repair that's for sure.

Conversation with the wife:

Her: "did you sweep the floor like I asked you"
Me: "yes'm" (vape)
Her: "with what?"
Me: "a broom" (vape)
Her: "da__ it why did you use a broom?"
Me: "cause it works better than my foot" (vape) (vape), (google: funny farms, local)
Her: "thats why we got that swiffer thing"
Me: "yes'm" (vape) (vape)
Her: "so why didn't you use it"
Me: "I like my broom" (vape) (vape) (vape)
Her: "but the swiffer thing is easier"
Me: "yes'm" (vape) (vape) (vape)
And on and on and on

last stinkie October 15, 2013

Hmmmmmmmm....I'll have to remember to keep my PV in my mouth at moments like this. It would have gone 3 more sentences at my house-

Me : You want the floor redone with the swiffer gizmo ?
Her: Yes
Me: It's right over there....

And my PV would have wound up somewhere besides my mouth, along with the broom and the swiffer.

Actually there is a way to make the fasttech kicks work. You can buy the shrink wrap tubing dirt cheap. :)

Yeah I'm kinda amazed... it was a *little* bit of a challenge this morning, but somehow I managed to not go out there and pollute my lungs -- it being somewhat below freezing was a real incentive, too. :D I'm just tickled with my new iTaste now that I have a good clearo, so I can enjoy the Virginia I found after going nuts for 2 wks looking for a tobacco vape that wouldn't gross me out. I swear, I have to keep looking to make sure I'm not smoking, the throat hit is so good. :thumb: Next week, the ARO pyrex, and I can enjoy the cinnamon redhot and clove! :D

I'm kinda wondering about something... do the non-tobacco flavors also benefit from some aging in the dark? I got that free gift from madvapes today, the green apple and the clove... I tried the green apple, but I have to say, it tastes more like unripe bananas, so I wondered if letting it sit for a while would benefit it.

All kinds of juices benefit from steeping.

I know several of the MtBaker Vapor juices I like improve hugely with 10 days or so of steeping. I am looking at you Hawk Sauce!

I'll definitely hang on to it.... I don't know if *I* will get to a point of rebuilding them, I'm hopelessly clumsy and don't see well, close-up... but it could definitely go on the "honey-do" list... ;) My husband is extremely handy, show him something that needs fixing, and he's all over it, so it's not out of the question. I'm sure that faced with a choice between me going back to expensive cancer-sticks, or rebuilding something for me, he'd definitely choose the latter! :D And his eyes work fine!

Hilarious! Thanks for the chuckles!

The Kanger T3S is my second favorite clearo. Glad you were able to latch onto one at your friendly neighborhood vape supply.

I just found yet another thing to love about this new clearo... with the eRolls, with every hit it was like watching the gas gauge on a '66 GTO... but I filled this almost to the top of the marks (it'll hold about 2.4ml, I put in about 2.0), and that level has BARELY MOVED! That is awesome!!!
