You know you have arrived when you see ole smokin buddies that out of habit offer you a cigarette and you easily can say no and mean it. Those times were very hard for me my first six months without a cigarette.
It's weird to me; if I *see* someone smoking, it does bring on a craving -- but smell it? GAG ME WITH A FORK! All I have to do is smell it, and that craving vanishes, poof!
And yeah, I do sometimes get cravings, but they're so mild, it takes me a while to figure out what's happening. I really do think that my "guardian angel" brought me here, so I could finally get off the smokes without suffering so much; it's been so easy compared to the previous attempts to quit, I have to figure it was just the right time.
