Haven't flown in many years, so can't say, but looks like it's been well covered.

And yes, any KF can be top filled. That's how I deal with my 3.1s, since I don't like the little check valve. With it empty (or nearly so), loosen the top. Cover the air intake, remove the top, fill. Get the top threads started, invert, release the block on the air intake and finish tightening the top. Turn right side up, take a couple of draws and it should be good to go.
Thank you! I've been wondering how to do this for awhile. Your directions make perfect sense!

Got a question for the group. When you go to take a vape - how many puffs do you take before you set it back down? How about first thing in the morning?

I seem to do 3 and first thing in the morning 4 or 5. Now I am a tootle puffer so I expect variety depending upon how you vape.
What's between a tootle puffer and a cloud chaser? I'm that. Unless I'm in the car or out with peeps, in which case I'm a tootle puffer :)

First thing in the morning, with coffee (which DH has already made), I'm 2-3 puffs. Immediately followed by 2-3 more. In my first hour of being up, I go through about a ml of juice. Roughly 3mg -- perhaps a bit less (cuz I'm not terribly precise). My daily consumption is 10-12 mls.

Me, too. At times, I am a tootle breather, but can go hours without.
 How do you go hours without breathing?!

It's being reworked as it was a wee bit too enthusiastic about adding keywords.
Bless your heart!

Grand baby #13 is due by the end of the week. Grandma and I are going to their place about 30 miles away and ride herd on a 2,4 and 12 year old while mom and dad do the new baby drill. Got my vape supplies all packed.

Juice- check
Spare atty- check
Batteries - check
Charger - check
Screwdriver- check
Spare wick material- check

I might even pack some spare clothes.
Grandchild #13? Congratulations!

On Korean airlines they limit the total amps/mah (something like that) that you can carry in any form and they mention not to exceed quantities of lithium batts beyond laptops etc. Philippine airlines limits the number of each type of item you can carry. Same with a couple of others - all international flights...

Well I suppose you international jet setters can just afford to buy more at your destination. I've no experience w/ jetting around the world jut across the country.

Congradulations! Rest up ... you're going to need it to watch those 3 kids. Just watching 1 wears me and Janet out.

That's close enough, very similar, at least it wan't red in the text.

It's so much easier to catch up by waiting until you all have gone to bed and don't talk back until the morning. [emoji38]

@DancingHeretik

We just the green plastic needle tips all the time to fill KFL-Lites. Just don't push it in tight and hold the tank at an angle so the air bubble forms around the fill hole. If needed stop feeding juice and retract the needle tip a smidgeon. Let some air come out, put the tip back in and continue filling.

@DancingHeretik

I forgot to add this about your upcoming flight. I haven't 'carried on' needle tip bottles but have gone through security check many times w/ these tips.

hhhmm,, never thought about trying to get on an airline with that kind of tip, thanks for the heads up.

This is what I usually carry in my purse for refilling:

It's ridiculous that we have to nitpick through every little thing just to get on a plane!

I am surprised they let you on with the screwdriver--wow,,hahaha

We've been watching the little ones each week when mom goes to the Dr. appointment. They are well behaved for that age and aren't much trouble.

I might throw in a pint of my "nerve tonic", just to be safe, though.

The 4 year old thinks I'm a dragon, because smoke comes out my nose sometimes.

Now you know as well as I do - where we go in the Philippines they have never heard of vaping much less have access to supplies. Now in the big cities like Manila yes, but that is a 24 hour bus ride away...

To all who were curious about the Liquid Barn flavorings, I just mixed up 30 ML's of the Creme Brulee and have it in the hot water bath at present but it smells so scrumptious I doubt it will make it to room temperature before I fill a tank to taste test it!

I also use the skinny tip plastic bottles for my KFs. The ones I use do block the entire fill hole, so it's just a question of filling slowly so the air can escape out the (upside down) chimney. Squeeze some in, briefly lift the bottle to expedite evening of air pressure, and go for some more.
I don't have a problem using the slim tip bottles. They seat at the fill hole, but not in it. Squeeze, release, squeeze, release. No problems with air or anything. I think when I release the squeeze it sucks air out of the KF & into the bottle.

I guess it's time to experiment. it looks like I've been making things harder in my mind than they needed to be. As usual.

I am surprised they let you on with the screwdriver--wow,,hahaha

Thank you! I knew it was SOMETHING like that.

I have on two occasions been told the limit for batts is 4 - 8 depending upon the airline. It is usually on their website. Some even include your cellphone, etc.
That's a great idea. Thank you.
Not pointy scissors and no metal files. You'll have to leave your hoverboard and blasting caps at home. Who the hell flies with blasting caps?

Found some information and thought of something. BTW, we don’t check anything because of the $25 per bag fee either. Makes packing interesting. You can:

1 – Call, Tweet or FB TSA and ask. Contact infor here at the top of the page. Customer Service

2 – Mail them to yourself at the hotel ahead of time.

3 – Use a different tank while you are there.

(4 – Get a top fill version for the trip—new shiny! :D)
Wow, that website if very useful! I already checked on the screwdriver. A screwdriver under 7" is allowed in carry on. Anything longer must be packed in checked luggage.

It's vague about needles for non-medical use. But, it looks like I may be able to get around that now with a plastic needle of some kind.

Well welcome back Steve after your banning. I ordered that one too to see if it compares with the Russians. Maybe it's these Russian flavors that are thickening my esophagus. Who knows what is in them. They are the strangest flavors besides TFA banana I've ever had bud if I really like some of these I'll mix up 100ml and order somemore. I've got quite a few bottles of the Russian stuff but I'll have to find out what is causing the Thickening probably the Reeming. I see mine are on the way from Simi Valley CA. I thought they were back East somewhere. My Orings are in the mailbox but I haven't gone out to get them yet. They only came from less then 100miles from here.

My vape is, first and foremost, my binky/pacifier. It's always near me. Unless I lay it down to use my hands for something else. Then, half an hour later, I reach for it and realize I must have left it in the kitchen, bathroom, closet, or somewhere.

I usually only take a puff or two at a time. And, in the morning I can't handle very much. My throat tends to be a little dry and raw in the mornings.

Actually, I just noticed. I usually take two puffs at a time. I'd never paid attention before.
Yes! I let a lot of cigs burn themselves out in the ashtray.
My kids always said that I burned up 2 packs a day, not smoked 2 packs a day.

I actually vaped a lot more often at first. Whenever it had been a while since I took a puff, I would suddenly become very alert and start to look around to see if I left a cigarette burning somewhere. Then I'ld remember that I didn't smoke anymore and go ahead and reach for a vape.

Once the habit of checking for cigarettes left burning went away, I vaped less. After 37 years of always having the worry of a burning ember in the back of my mind!
??????? I thought vaping was a form of breathing.....put it down? really? tell me more :D
Well, yes it is!
