I found a bottle of Peppermint Swirl juice that I had liked but forgotten about. It's almost empty. But, it's still so good!

I only found one decent sounding DIY recipe for peppermint. It's called Soothing Peppermint. It uses 21 1/2 percent flavoring! But, it's a good starting point.

So, Soothing Peppermint by LoveVanilla and Iced Lemon Cookie by Kodak. Those should be a nice, refreshing change!

@rhelton loves those & has several, I think. I have one living & 2 dead. I killed them.

To much plastic for me, but a lot of people are buying them up for the dna chipset. Only $15 for the single and $20 for the dual batt one...

Not going there, Ivll look at VZ's versions. They are the same, right?
IDK Kenna I read the reviews on the Creme Brulee and they said that it was quite a bit weaker. Someone told me that they add PG to the original flavor. I have never bought any from them so IDK. You wouldn't think they would have to since they only have to pay less then 90 cents for 10ml plus the special shipping which I think the Russian does by air on orders over $4000 but read the reviews. I have never bought any from them and as long as the German will ship to the US I won't. I have an email in to him right now. He is charging $6 USD for 10ml now up from 4.50. I usually order 20 or so bottles of various flavors and have them shipped DHL shipping is around $15. They are the same flavors but whether they weaken them or not IDK.

Hello porchers. @Kaezziel reminded me of this thread again. How is everyone? Hope everything is going well with all. Whoever talked about the cigar, I used to smoke B&M with a good whiskey. Now just vape a dark pipe vape that I really enjoy. A vanilla bourbon is my fave.
Well how ya doin? Don't know if we've talked before I've only been here about 3 or 4 years I think maybe less I can't remember how long ago. 2nd thing to go your memory.

I still have the dna30w that I killed by putting the battery in upside down. And I have a 40watt blem that was badly machined. Taking the cover off to changed batts is easy, but I had to wedge it back on. I think the connection to the 510 or the board broke loose. They were charging like 80.00 to repair them, so I just stuck them in a drawer & switched to Hex Ohms. Lifetime warranty unless you do something stupid like build them way too low, or run over it with a backhoe. Things wear out & they just fix it & send it back. I have one that's a limited edition that they only made about 50 of. I've never fired it, h people collect LE Hexes. I'll eventually sell it, but I really have a hard time not using it! Itvs just sooooo shiney!

 Oooop's, must of caught me lurk'n. Yup, still here Flamingo.
Been tied up with health problems in the family, but I have to snoop off and on to see how the porch gang is doing.
Been keeping up with ya all, just not too much new to write about from this end.
Thanks for thinking of me

I'm sorry you're having to deal with those problems but it's good to see you around. Take care and please drop in from time to time.

That was in a different thread... In this thread it is Deb...

I like the idea of spreading the blame around but on the downside, I'd never remember whose fault it was were.

Like you and I am sure many others - I tried almost every option available - even hypnosis, which was a joke (lit up a cig when I walked outside). I almost quit one time (cold turkey) - it lasted 8 or 9 months. A bunch of my buds invited me out for one last night on the town before I went back to the US - 4 out of 5 of them smoked - a few beers later I bummed a smoke and that was the end of my success - never could duplicate it. I am glad I found ECF...

I wonder how many lives ECF has helped save. I know vaping, ECF and the posters here saved mine. Kind of staggering if you think about it.

The biggest pita in an angiogram is having to lay flat on your back for 6 hours after. I had one, 100% blocked & had been for awhile, so no stent. They didn't do a bypass. I had zero symptoms, even tho it was a Subclavian artery. Seems I have a God given bypass! It's called Subclavian Steal Syndrome. A tiny little vein took over the job of the artery & delivers blood where it should go by stealing it from someplace else. I have an appt with my PC to investigate the issue with my lack of stickable veins on my right side. They can't use the left side because that's where the blockage is. Your Mom will be fine, prolly irritated, but otherwise...

Wish mine had grown a little vein. I was in serious trouble by they time they got around to fixing it.

Had to look it up because I always forget. Angiogram is x-ray with the fun dye they inject. Angioplasty is unclogging you. I'll forget the terms again by tomorrow. :(

I've got three stints & three by-passes. Trust me on this ...... the stints are the easier-softer way.

As mentioned, the only hard part was laying there for 6 hours with my foot tied to a bed post.

I loath the lying there for six hours. The bed was so hard it hurt when they put the stent in my shoulder that I asked for some mild painkiller if I asked for it when they did my leg. I never asked for it, the bed was very comfortable. They kept me so stoned in recovery I had no clue what I was doing. The nurse, a burly guy, told me he was going to have to tie my legs to the bed if I didn't knock it off. Told him to do it as I had no clue I was crossing my legs, moving, etc. Boy was my husband surprised to find me hogtied to the bed. Next time I'm making sure there are no painkillers involved.

Okay... back off topic for a sec... but it's totally worth it!!

Just heard back from Sis... angio is done and came back clear!! No stints, no worries!! YAAAAAYYYYYYYYY!!!! :D:D:D:D:D I'm so happy!!!!

Thank y'all so much!!! :wub::wub::wub::wub::wub:
Thank you, everyone! It was definitely a huge weight lifted off our shoulders. We've all been stressed out for a couple of days now. :) Now she is cleared to reschedule her sinus surgery! :D

That Creme Brulee sounds awesome, Legs! (I'd have to drop the banana, though... can't stand banana.) You've mentioned those Russian Flavors before... where do you get them from again?

I need to check with my friend here about the Iced Lemon Cookie recipe. She nailed this one! It's spot on to my taste buds... hopefully she won't have a problem sharing. :D I'll let y'all know.

I'm glad it well and the results were positive, as in good. Onward to the sinus surgery! Sympathize with the sinus thing, have something similar but don't think surgery will be needed. Waking up with a bone-dry mouth is the pits. Hope the surgery is a breeze for her.

Just for future reference, getting a stent is a breeze, how they make you "recover" is a PITA. So are anticoagulants if you're into crashing-and-burning as often as I am. Six hours of being held hostage, a day or two of taking it easy and then is wonderful again. I could tell the difference when I was being wheeled down the hall from surgery to the elevator. My other two options were crack the chest and run a bypass from there up towards the brain or do nothing (which obviously wasn't an option). Stent is an outpatient miracle disguised as a 48 hour PITA.

How did I sever the cord. hmmm well.....ya do realize who yur talkin to right? I not only do all the normal every day screw ups that we all do.......I can also become quite creative in screwing things up! :D When I have the puter in the man cave, that is now apparently the mama cave...... the loveseat in there has a steel frame around the bottom. I have a tv tray that has legs that slide under what you're sittin on, so you can pull it up close. Well, I can't do that cuz of the frame.....I just have to wedge it in there as close as I can get it and try to see the screen. Apparently a time or few, the cord was caught between the table leg and the steel frame and I didn't know it. I'm pretty sure legs counted some of those posts twice! :D

I most definitely need my own puppy, but that's a no go. DIL and I have both been trying to talk son into another dog for awhile now, but he's not convinced yet. I even found this adorable little guy. Italian greyhound mix rescue, and he even has bigger ears than my Frankie!! He gotz gizmo ears!!! :)

DEZI-225x300.jpg

So sorry bout your leg issues. But look at yur post. It's cute that ya don't wanna pay for the delectable again hehehe

JUP!!! Better not mess wiff me Semi.......birdie's got my back!!

Severing your cable like that sounds like something my husband would do. I'm really glad you didn't have worse consequences. You do have a backup cable for your backup cables's cable now, right? :thumb:

He's a cutie and you're right, Gizmo ears! Son should meet Gizmo, then how could he say no? Besides, he's outvoted anyway. Get Gizmo, he needs a forever home, poor thing.

Thanks. The leg isn't dire right now and it's not life-threatening. I did it once, it's the one I woke up in the middle of from the pain, plus had my legs tied to the bed, but I didn't know it had a 1 in 3 chance blocking up again. :( Don't wanna read what I wrote before because I'll just be embarrassed but what I meant was having work done that would wind up spanning two calendar years. It took less than a year to plug up again but that put it into the next year. Not to mention, I'm a complete weeny about having to go in again.

Thanks. I'm going to order a couple of these. I've got the jar sized grippers in the kitchen and I remember wishing you could get them in small sizes. One comment said they worked most of the time, and if they did slip on something really tight you could make them work by putting a rubber band on underneath.

I never had ceramic tweezers. The reviews I saw for them were always full of comments about them being fragile and breaking. I have a feeling if you use these things for unscrewing tight tanks the ceramic bits aren't going to last long. Never know though.

I use these for getting the PT coils apart, those and a pair of pliers for the tube part. They can be found at Wal-Mart for under $6 in the beading (craft) section.

Sorry the picture is so big. They may or may not work on the tank. I poked around some more and found these:

:w00t: Sorry about the size, again. :(

The "heads" are soft, on both of them, and won't scratch your stuff. I'm going for the latter pair next time. :D

It's not a real puckery lemon, but it does have zing. INW Lemon will work too--I've tried it before. To me the Lemon Sicily is just a little smoother so I stuck with it...most citrus flavors will make me start coughing, so I have to be careful with em.

Welcome to the porch Kodiak! :)

Not pink, no hooked bill, short legs, not very tall, looks like it might have talons. Please, please, no one tell Little Bird her secret is out.

I promise I will never google "hogtied." I've made other mistakes and brain bleach did nothing to erase what I saw.

I was wandering the factory floor at work yesterday (I'm a front office position but spend time on the shop floor daily) and one of the women stopped me and said "I hear you are vaping these days" She then proceeded to show me her Hex Ohm, and told me she has 2 and her husband has 4, one of which is a LE that he got from someone in Canada. They make their own juice, build their own coils, etc. I asked if they were on any of the vaping forums, she said no, but I almost gotta believe he probably is or has been.

Anyway, thought that was pretty cool.

Any of ya'll into Hanna Modz... Good price going on these...

One Mod : DNA Box Mods, by HANA MODZ

To much plastic for me, but a lot of people are buying them up for the DNA chipset. Only $15 for the single and $20 for the dual batt one...

There has been discussion of these lately in the itty bitty thread. Yes, cheap plastic but people are buying them for the DNA40. I was tempted, but I don't think I will get one. I have more quality mods than to settle for cheap plastic just for an old chip set.

I wonder how many lives ECF has helped save. I know vaping, ECF and the posters here saved mine. Kind of staggering if you think about it.

I know it saved mine! I was floundering with a Blu, knew there had to be something better. Found ECF and the rest is history.

kewl thanks. I wanted the lemon sicily, but they were out everytime I tried to get it, so finally got the INW. I have put it in a couple recipes, but haven't tried it alone or as a main yet. I will now though!

Where do you order from? And I like a lot of the INW flavors. It's one of the 4 main flavor brands I use. My other 3 are Flavorah, FlavourArts, and Jungle Flavors.

Thanks Kodak! And welcome to The Porches!
    Thank you!!
