Thank you, everyone! It was definitely a huge weight lifted off our shoulders. We've all been stressed out for a couple of days now.

Now she is cleared to reschedule her sinus surgery!
That Creme Brulee sounds awesome, Legs! (I'd have to drop the banana, though... can't stand banana.) You've mentioned those Russian Flavors before... where do you get them from again?
I need to check with my friend here about the Iced Lemon Cookie recipe. She nailed this one! It's spot on to my taste buds... hopefully she won't have a problem sharing.

I'll let y'all know.
I'm glad it well and the results were positive, as in good. Onward to the sinus surgery! Sympathize with the sinus thing, have something similar but don't think surgery will be needed. Waking up with a bone-dry mouth is the pits. Hope the surgery is a breeze for her.
Just for future reference, getting a stent is a breeze, how they make you "recover" is a PITA. So are anticoagulants if you're into crashing-and-burning as often as I am. Six hours of being held hostage, a day or two of taking it easy and then is wonderful again. I could tell the difference when I was being wheeled down the hall from surgery to the elevator. My other two options were crack the chest and run a bypass from there up towards the brain or do nothing (which obviously wasn't an option). Stent is an outpatient miracle disguised as a 48 hour PITA.
How did I sever the cord. hmmm well.....ya do realize who yur talkin to right? I not only do all the normal every day screw ups that we all do.......I can also become quite creative in screwing things up!

When I have the puter in the man cave, that is now apparently the mama cave...... the loveseat in there has a steel frame around the bottom. I have a tv tray that has legs that slide under what you're sittin on, so you can pull it up close. Well, I can't do that cuz of the frame.....I just have to wedge it in there as close as I can get it and try to see the screen. Apparently a time or few, the cord was caught between the table leg and the steel frame and I didn't know it.

I'm pretty sure legs counted some of those posts twice!
I most definitely need my own puppy, but that's a no go. DIL and I have both been trying to talk son into another dog for awhile now, but he's not convinced yet. I even found this adorable little guy. Italian greyhound mix rescue, and he even has bigger ears than my Frankie!! He gotz gizmo ears!!!
So sorry bout your leg issues. But look at yur post. It's cute that ya don't wanna pay for the delectable again hehehe
JUP!!! Better not mess wiff me Semi.......birdie's got my back!!
Severing your cable like that sounds like something my husband would do.

I'm really glad you didn't have worse consequences. You do have a backup cable for your backup cables's cable now, right?
He's a cutie and you're right, Gizmo ears!

Son should meet Gizmo, then how could he say no? Besides, he's outvoted anyway. Get Gizmo, he needs a forever home, poor thing.
Thanks.

The leg isn't dire right now and it's not life-threatening. I did it once, it's the one I woke up in the middle of from the pain, plus had my legs tied to the bed, but I didn't know it had a 1 in 3 chance blocking up again.

Don't wanna read what I wrote before because I'll just be embarrassed but what I meant was having work done that would wind up spanning two calendar years. It took less than a year to plug up again but that put it into the next year. Not to mention, I'm a complete weeny about having to go in again.
Thanks. I'm going to order a couple of these. I've got the jar sized grippers in the kitchen and I remember wishing you could get them in small sizes. One comment said they worked most of the time, and if they did slip on something really tight you could make them work by putting a rubber band on underneath.
I never had ceramic tweezers. The reviews I saw for them were always full of comments about them being fragile and breaking. I have a feeling if you use these things for unscrewing tight tanks the ceramic bits aren't going to last long. Never know though.
I use these for getting the PT coils apart, those and a pair of pliers for the tube part. They can be found at Wal-Mart for under $6 in the beading (craft) section.

Sorry the picture is so big. They may or may not work on the tank. I poked around some more and found these:

Sorry about the size, again.
The "heads" are soft, on both of them, and won't scratch your stuff. I'm going for the latter pair next time.
It's not a real puckery lemon, but it does have zing. INW Lemon will work too--I've tried it before. To me the Lemon Sicily is just a little smoother so I stuck with it...most citrus flavors will make me start coughing, so I have to be careful with em.
Welcome to the porch Kodiak!
Hello porchers.
@Kaezziel reminded me of this thread again. How is everyone? Hope everything is going well with all. Whoever talked about the cigar, I used to smoke B&M with a good whiskey. Now just vape a dark pipe vape that I really enjoy. A vanilla bourbon is my fave.
Welcome back, Skull!
DO NOT look up 'hogtied' in Google Images!
Not pink, no hooked bill, short legs, not very tall, looks like it might have talons. Please,
please, no one tell Little Bird her secret is out.
I promise I will never google "hogtied." I've made other mistakes and brain bleach did nothing to erase what I saw.
