Well I figured out that the lung hits were causing my chest to hurt so I cranked my K5's to the smallest opening and doing a sort of combo mostly MTL and no more chest pains. Might get a couple of those MTL kits from Origin I think you said they work right @MikeE3

@2legsshrt The MTL kits from origin vape work fine in the Tobeco and SXK KF V5 clones.I have not yet tried one in the SMJY clone.

Yepper what Dub said. Although, I did have to putz around w/ them to make them fit the Black Tobeco's. The SS Tobeco's fit just fine.

Same on the broke front, I got cleaned out this year....but there's this one thing that keeps beckoning me for my vapeversary, I'm almost willing to tighten the belt for the next month lol

Do it, do it. Just do it.

I like them so much i think i currently have Nine.I always have three in rotation. All my other tanks are now stashed away.I no longer look for another tank either, just buy more of these and lots of spare parts for them.A good link on this page to save for all spare parts from fast tech, just scroll down for all the SKU links. I have spares of everything from here and they all seem to fit.I get my o rings from oringsandmore.com.Bags of 50 of every size.

List of Spare Parts for Kayfun V5: FastTech Forums

Thanks for that link ... nice consolidated list of FT spares.

Yep if I am going to MTL I need to get a couple of those kits. This is just too open even on the smallest. My Kabuki is just right but It isn't a K5 and not SS either or TC.
I love the MTL kit. The 1.4mm and the 1.2 mm are great for closing it down. The 1.6 mm does not really feel any different too the smallest airflow without the kit which is 1.8 mm. I think if you are serious about sticking with this tank then go for it.

Anyone else a fan of spaced twisted coils? The flavor increase is lovely.
newp. Tried twisted a few times. Was going for contact, but due to poor wrapping skills at the time, they were spaced. Just didn't care for twisted. Made too warm of a vape for me. I vape mostly fruity juices, and just don't like a very warm vape with them.

Better you than me! We are supposed to break heat records this week. At least those records are only in the upper 80s.
oh send some here! Supposed to be 35 thurs night, then 40's 50's and 60s the rest of the week

I love coconut oil. It's a healthy alternative to coffee creamer
I keep forgetting a lot of folks use it for coffee creamer. Doesn't make sense to me, but I need to remember to try it. But I do love it and use it for a lot. Really like that it doesn't turn to a trans fat when heated like olive and many other oils do.

Shippin and me just don't get along!!! :(
that's the understatement of the year!

At least mine isn't a party line... ...until I dial a certain lil' 'number' up in Michigan...

hehehe that's always a party!

kewl you figured out that's what was causing it.

Welcome Dub! Can't recall if I welcomed you before or not, so makin sure! lol

Me too neither.
lmao! I say stuff like that all the time. My son just pretends he don't know me

I had an actual newspaper headline picture like that that was taken within 10 minutes (judging by the number and makes of vehicles in the ditch) of when I went through the same ramps. That was pure skating rink freezing rain, and if I had known about it I would have stayed home, but I ran into it about 10 miles into a 40 mile commute, and then was stupid enough to keep going.
Yipes! Glad you got through it ok

Yeah I have a new HD DVR from Dish coming supposed to be here Thursday as of yesterday it hadn't been shipped.
they're just shipping it to you? Not sending a tech to hook it up, format it etc? That's weird!

I've always said that it's easy to tell who only smoked tobacco on here.
lol but newp. I only smoked tobacco. Started out mtl til I got a Reo. Was given an Odin. You have to DLH on those. It was really odd getting used to it, but once I did, I found out I liked it. Only ever smoked cigs MTL

I MTL hit early on but once gear was available to DLH I moved over to that because the flavor seemed better. Now days there are tootle puff tanks that produce pretty darn good flavor eg. KayV5, Wine, Rose, Origenny etc. but I still prefer warm wet flavor stomp'm DLH RDTAs these days. The Aspire Quad Flex is what I reach for most times. Seriously has to be the #1 under rated tank of 2016.

I started out with an ego/C4 set up. I mtl'd just like I smoked. Then I moved on the Nautilus with the ego (think wand). Then I learned about VV & got some MVP2's. All within about 3 months. I also discovered flavors during that time. At some point I began to start each hit with mtl & end it wiith dl. No clue why. I moved up to Kayfuns & a 30w Hana within another 3 months & slip streaming to get more air. More air just seemed to feel more like smoking I think. Now I've added K5's to the mix & dl those.

I started out MTL, and concentrated on learning how to make two systems work to perfection. The cartomizer & the dripping atomizer.

My first carto tank ;) (5 prefilled cartos fit in there quite nicely)
    weweewewr45435345.jpg

It was replaced when our local vendor started making the J-tank, which is what I still use.

The dripping atty I settled on was the Joyetech LR 510-T (modified for dripping). But then Joyetech "improved" the 510-T to death! So I searched & found that the A7 RDA could be made to vape the same as the 510-T, and that is what I still use.

My goal from the start was to get the most satisfaction from the least resources. I believe 8/18 is now the date that will explain why.
Also by concentrating on only those two systems, I have never had the overwhelming collection of mods & toppers that "almost" work well. Instead I now vape all day-every day pretty much spending nothing, and have done so for quite some time. This year I kinda went overboard on "stocking up", and I've spent maybe $90 total.

However, the monies I didn't spend on frivolous vape gear my wife spent refurnishing pretty much the entire house in the past few years.

Dang tipos... I'm sure you meant 8/8 ;)

While different gear, I, too, "standardized" on what works best for me. While I do have a variety of different toppers, they tend to be one-offs that don't see much use. But a LOT of KF2s, spares and spare parts.

Only thing I've purchased since 8/8 have been some flavors. Will have to get some more PG and VG next year. Nic in, oh, maybe 15 years or so?

It's all I've used since I got them. I love em. I still like the STM but they don't have the flavor the K5 has.

No, I mean 08/08 of 2018 when the two years are up and everything is deemed out of existence. And, what you have in your hand is what you will be using for the next 20 years.
Maybe. Maybe not. I'm cautiously optimistic that Cole Bishop will be enacted, at the least. I'm hoping that the Regs will be deemed to be ridiculous and will be thrown in the rubbish bin. It ain't over til it's over.

Seems like a wonderful thing to spend it on to me. But I probably spend 99% of my time in the house.

I'm with you hun! Like TJ said, plan for the worst, hope for the best, and we all have been. But I am very much hoping that someone will wake up and slap the FDA upside the head for bein idiots!
