It & the Subtank or Protanks & Nautilus are probably the best selling tanks ever. But KFvs are prolly #1.

I never used a nautilus atty. I've had nothing but success with my protanks and subtanks as long as you rebuild them and stay away from the factory coils. If the kayfuns weren't such a hassle to refill and seep some through the fill port I would consider them along with my PT and subtanks for vaping pleasure. I still like to throw a provari friendly build into one of my ol kayfuns and enjoy.

Is it common to re-wick that often?
It kinda depends on your juice & the power you vape at. Wicks & coils get crusty & gunk up fast with tobaccos & sweeter juices. Then you start to lose flavor or tasting burned juice. So a rewick & dry burn are in order. I do it about every 8 days. But I have several tanks coiled & wicked & ready to go any time so I just juice one up & keep vaping & do maintenance on the other when I feel like it.

The K5's don't bottom fill. And you don't have to empty the tank to rewick & dry burn. I never used Kanger products at all. When I started researching evrryone was complaining about Protanks h Nautivs were new & getting raves so I went with those from CE4's. 3 months later I had my first Kayfun.

I never got past the kayfun 2 or 3, I can't remember. Once the subtanks entered our lives I really didn't bother looking to "upgrade" cause I was having such a good experience with them. I did sidetrack with the TFV4 and Merlin and both attys were no where near what I was expecting them to be. TFV4, I tried and still can't wick without getting dryhits and random juice dumping. Those who have read the Merlin thread know my stand on the Merlin and I do like its vape but its pressfit base issues sunk that ship.

Lol! I never went past KF's. It's what makes you happy. My drippers are Magma's & my squonkers are O16's. I do have one bf Magma for dual coils. I love finding something I like & stopping with that. Keeping it simple.

Haven't been around for a while, family issues. All is well.

I want to wish @Myrany and very happy 4th vaperversary! We have the same quit date and I didn't remember until the 15th of March because I was a day off in the calendar in my head. Nothing new and shinny here to celebrate, just trying to stock on coils before CA D-Day on 1 April, though no one seems to know exactly what the tax will be or what it covers and I have no budget to work with. :( Way to go CA.

Happy Fourth Vaperversary Myrany!

I've never ordered from Fasttech because I didn't want my credit card in their database. Now that I knwo they accept Paypal I'll start doing business with them.
I stopped buying devices and stuck with the atomizers and tanks as of this past summer... When they started wanting a credit card for a device.

I don't know what others do, but it depends on the juice you vape. Most of my juices are tobacco flavors. Those with sweetener or EM seem to build up crud faster than plain single flavor tobaccos. Sometimes, I will use a coil for 3 or 4 days and other times I'll decide that the flavor has disappeared and I'll break it down, dry burn, and re-wick while I'm filling my Kayfun. It depends on whether the flavor is still good.

It's a 5 minute job to replace a wick, anyway. My coils last weeks.

FastTech wouldn't take PayPal for devices? Is there a limit on PayPal at FastTech or has PayPal refused to process mod purchases?

I still have a Nautilus from years ago. It was a good vape. You just had to be careful with it. The glass would break easily, even while putting it together. That, and it was expensive to replace coils. I went to rebuildable atomizers and never looked back. A 100' foot coil of wire and a large pack of Kho Gen Do sheets from Amazon will last years for $10 or $15.

I know they won't take PayPal for any Aspire products, it is possible there are other brands as well but none that I am aware of.
