Here's the new Volcano Lavabox mods Janet and I got last week. We're both liking them pretty much. Been vaping in TC mode with them and getting used to it.

The magnets in the door are strong enough to stick to my phone mount in the car ... but I think a good bump and it would come loose ... not going to trust it.

These have been sitting unused on the vape bench partially filled with juice for months. Gave them all a good cleaning last night. I have handguns w/ less parts to clean ... geez, the KFL4's have a lot of parts.

I know the feeling. I've been on Medicare for a couple of years now but my wife has 3 years to go. Trouble is her work doesn't do medical so she is on the ACA exchange. If the Trumpies glorious dream comes true we would be done for. She has some expensive health care needs.

I did retire for 4 months last year. That's how long it took me to get bored with gardening and computer games and go back to work. Actually today is the anniversary of my new job. Only 4 days a week but I quite enjoy it and the money is nice. Wrestling with machinery keeps you fit as well as letting you buy completely unnecessary vaping gear. I looked forward to retiring until it happened, now I kind of dread it.

I stayed retired from January 5 to March 15 of 2015. I hated it. I work three to four days a week, it keeps my seventy-two year old body and mind together (though some may dispute that) and the money helps.

I'm kinda in that same boat. Seemed like I only used two types of toppers, and all the rest just sat there getting dusty (sticky & dusty)
So I gave away all those that someone might like & donated the rest to the local landfill. Now the only toppers in the house are a bunch of A7s for dripping and carto tanks.

I'm also the same with flavorings, and have found that 'less is more'. My normal is 10 drops (1/2 ml) in 30ml of 12mg base, and I consume 3-4ml/day.

Similar with me, TJ, although a different topper is my go-to. Some of the "older" gear has been pif'd, some is awaiting pif, and some may be awaiting that journey to the landfill...

Found what I liked and what worked for me, and loaded up on those for the future.

And, ime, not worth the hassle, don't see a vast (or any) improvement over my V2s. So the 4 I have are in the backup bin

I've got one of those too Mike. I hate the way the screen is. You can only see it in a dark room. But besides that I love it. I have the 75 which I think those are. I do have all the settings if you need them mine came without any Manufacturers settings put in. Don't know why but they kind of help if you are planning on doing TC they are so light you don't even know they are in your pocket but if you put it in there be sure to lock it. You can reset the amount of clicks to 3 to lock it which I do with all my DNA's if you are only using it as VW there is no need for the settings. But when it is in your pocket it will reset your settings for power or temp and fire really easily with the protruding buttons. It is one of my favorites for taking with me. That all aluminum is really nice. The door stays on pretty good but if you aren't holding it right it will come loose on you. So at any rate when you are going out you need to lock the fire, VW settings or they will get pushed accidently very easy.

I've no problem reading the screen indoors in any lighting situation. Outdoors, it's impossible to read. Can barely make out the large characters of the temp setting, not a chance in h3ll reading the small characters even when standing in a full shaded outdoor setting.

I don't know what 'internal' settings you are talking about. But I easily found one of the pre-set profiles for SS wire and that's what we are using. I have some titanium wire and eventually I'll probably try it but been very happy w/ the SS vape.

My door is stays put just fine. Haven't had any issue w/ that. And yep ... it weights a full ounce less than a Radius but sure feels even lighter than that. I like it for pocket carry and yes again, I keep it locked so I don't inadvertently change the temp setting.

My only other minor gripe is there is no external batt charging indicator to let you know when the batt charge is complete. You have to push the fire button and look to see that the lightening bolt is no longer displayed in the batt icon.

I've been retired since Aug 1 2011 (my 60th birthday) and I don't regret a single millisecond. My brother who is a year younger than me didn't even last as long as you did before going back to work. Different strokes for different folks.

Well I can put the statement by the gastro about new cancer in esophagus and it is because Barretts is actually considered pre cancer but can change to cancer over years not months. So just keeping an eye on it carefully should be good. So I guess I am pretty much cancer free for now. Feel a lot better having this out in the open with my regular docs instead of with the VA. Like the Onc said we will have a lot better control this way.

That is some really great news!

By the way, my one-year-younger brother pulled down his t-shirt collar during the family video conference yesterday to show us the scar from his shattered collarbone and multiple broken ribs (which resulted from the bicycle section of a triathlon training session). The scar was barely noticeable. Although he thought he was getting a stainless steel replacement for his collarbone, the surgical team was able to find a titanium replacement which was sufficiently thin for my brother's forgiveable vanity. That's why he was surprised when he went through check-in for an airline flight and nothing set off the alarms.

Everything is "full speed ahead" for my brother's trip to Europe next month, which was planned before the accident.

Did he have a built in profile for titanium or did he have to load a custom TCR from Steam-Engine?
