Help, I'm stuck as a pink pumpkin. :( Either they've changed the process to switch your avi or it's currently broken for me. It gives me an option to delete it but nowhere to put in a new link. For that matter, it's not showing my old one anymore either. Any help much appreciated. I know they are tinkering with the site but mostly focused on switching servers next week. They aren't able to fully address the missing text reply boxes right now.

I quit end of Sep. I wonder if there are any times of the year when people are more likely to quit. I can kind of see how it might happen a lot when the winter weather moves in.

I started vaping in November 2012 in high hopes of quitting by the new year. Took another couple of months but my heart was in the right place.

A friend has had terrible lung trouble, made worse by vaping. She could not find a combination of PG/VG ratio with sufficient nicotine that didn't cause her a lot of trouble. She needs something in the 12-18 range, but anything over 3-6 just irritates her lungs too much.

I suggested that she try MTN (mouth-to-nose), since the mucous membranes in the mouth, nose, and throat are more efficient than lungs anyway for absorbing nicotine. Take a lung full of clean air, then take a mouthful of vapor. Now begin exhaling slowly out through the nose as you gradually close down the mouth cavity, slowly adding vapor to the stream of exhaled air. Let the vapor pass through the nose slowly. You will be astounded at how much nicotine you get. It worked for her, letting her vape 12 mg/ml..

BTW, if you normally use MTL or DTL, you will want to be cautious about trying this with your normal strength juice. It will extract more nicotine than you might expect. You may get a bit of dizziness or even get a bit nic-sick.

I had a lot of trouble acclimating to vaping. Once I did it was all good. Then I bought some nic from a different company, highly recommended stuff with a stellar reputation, and wound up not being able to use it. Some people are just unlucky that way. Don't know if that's her problem but thought it might be worth mentioning...

he, he ... I did some vape accumulation clean up this weekend. And yep, I ran across a pack of the blue foam.

I started with 2 510 sticks and quickly accumulated more and a multi charger.

Nice! Looks good! :thumb:

We like the JAC too. Both my wife and I each have 2 of 'em.

I miss my old V4L auto cigalikes. Thought it'd be handy to have a couple but they want $12 each for them. I can get two Spinners for the price of one cigalike. :grr:

PSA:

The annual ECigIntelligence Vapers Survey is still open. If you can carve out 10 minutes to participate, your input will be appreciated.

CASAA and ECigIntelligence worked together to provide a survey that will aid in both out policy efforts as well as gaining a better understanding of the vaping market.

You can access the survey here

Thank you! Hadn't seen it, done. :)

I feel the same way about my old Volts... I used them as my stealth device and they worked great, but then the cost factor and the last two just did not hold up as long...

Click on the Browse button, about the middle of the editor box. You should go to some place on your computer, in the default file manager for your OS. Find and select your pic.

Thank you. I had gotten to that page but it wouldn't let me link a picture from the internet. Had to save it to desktop and then select. Maybe it's the new computer? I hate this thing. :( At least parts of it. Not sure if it's Dell or Win 10.

But, its cute...

Well, thanks. And now that I've changed it, no one can tell what it is.

I think they use to call it French inhale. Both my aunts used to do it with Luckies while drinking a beer. Their hair was yellowish above the forehead, That was at least 60 years ago. Probably longer, I was about 5 at the time but I'll always remember that. Sittin around my Aunt Tiny's house Tiny and Doris drinking beer, Oly, smokin luckies, sometimes they'd let me have a drink of the beer but just one. It's hard to do when you been inhaling all your life, MTL is hard to do unless you have a tight enough draw.

Well, I mixed up more juice this morning. First time I had mixed up any flavors in almost 8 mths. Last time I mixed up about 8 120ml bottles of varying flavors. I only did 5 this time. 8 was to many at one time. When I got down to the last bottle - I noticed the juice had started to age (darken) and tasted a little spicier. At least now I know the limit - in the future I will only mix 5 or 6 at a time just to ensure no aging effects...

I thought of getting another mtl kit but they are OOS on those also. They have them at Vapinart tho.

You snooze you loose. I got a couple more sets from OV last week.

@MikeE3 did you get shipping confirmation from FT yet?

No ... I placed the order Nov. 1st and I think there was a 5 to 7 wait before shipping. So, I'm hoping any day now to get a notice.

Remember back when the Kayfun was it the 2.5 and they were what price. Seems like around 50-75 and we thought that was really expensive. Now look where they are at.

Aug. 3, 2014 you paid VapingArt $99 for a Kayfun Lite Second Batch. How do I know? I have your receipt.

@FlamingoTutu - just to let you know - I am retiring another one of my ancient (6 yr old) batteries. It is working just fine, but the last two times I charged it - it would not take a full charge. The first time I thought maybe a fluke - the second time - time to retire it...

Yep, even the slightest note that a batt is not performing as designed - it gets retired - no matter what the age of it...

Mine don't seem to last nearly that long. I only mix 2 120 ml bottles at a time.

I'm thinking of putting my juices and any flavorings that I have 120 ml or more of in the frig to make them last longer. Last time I had bought 2 120 ml bottles of Tiramisu flavoring I had to throw some out. Some flavorings/juices seem to last forever, some not so much.

6 year old batteries?!

Oh, wait. I have some that old too. But, I don't use them often. Those are the old style, non-IMR batteries that I use in my non VV/VW mods, the ones with just a momentary switch. I do use them, but nowhere nearly as much as VV/VW.

I was keeping mine in what I considered a cool dark corner. Also they were all in cobalt bottles.

Me too. Well, in amber bottles, not cobalt.

It's only the Tiramisu that's done it so far. It started getting to where the juice I made with it turned dark too fast and was really gunky on my coils. Freshly bought Tiramisu doesn't do that.

Thank you. I had gotten to that page but it wouldn't let me link a picture from the internet. Had to save it to desktop and then select. Maybe it's the new computer? I hate this thing. :( At least parts of it. Not sure if it's Dell or Win 10.

I suspect the way avi's work doesn't allow links, it has to be an image file, not a link to one, and it's probably stored somewhere in your user data here. You could upload it to your "media" folder on ECF and use it from there.

So likely not your Dell or Win10, although there is a slight learning curve going to 10 - until you disable all the fish you don't need, aka the carp, and make it behave more like 7 ;)
