Tutu, I am not sure I trust those with rewrapping. As soon as I locate where I put them, I will send you a couple adapters, if you want.

Most battery places like batteries + can solder a button top on your flat top battery.
@FlamingoTutu , I don't remember well but we had a major discussion about the adapters and soldering and rewrapping and I did some research also. I read comments somewhere on the internet that talked about some possible problems with wrapping or soldering those on. Personally, it just seems like too much trouble and I agree about taking in/out of charger. I suppose it is fine, if you keep an eye on the wrap like we all do anyway.
I will look for my adapter stash and pm you when I find them.![]()
Sure glad I've still got a bunch of AWs in the stash.
Hope I can get another year or two out of them.
What's the new 18350 that folks are raving about??
Oops, wrong porch...
Just passing along ECF gossip, but I heard he had a fire in the factory about two years ago. That means that every AW out there has been aging for about two years.Squeak out everything you can from them, the future looks bleak.I saw a post somewhere that said he'd bought some new ones but they didn't really hold up.
The word I got (second or third hand) was it was a flood. Nearly two years ago. So there have been no new AW's manufactured since then. Any that were made prior to that are at least 2 years old. Even before AW shut down, Andrew Wan had said that all of the AW batteries being advertised on Ali Express (China) were counterfeit; if you go to that site today you will probably find some counterfeit AW batteries.Just passing along ECF gossip, but I heard he had a fire in the factory about two years ago. Today was a day for staying home and doing nothing. The fact that I didn't sleep at all last night had a lot to do with that decision. I decided that I would clear out some of my vape stash. I found a couple of Joytech eVic VT mods. They have internal batteries so I figured it wouldn't hurt to pull them and top off the charge. I also found a couple of Kayfun V3 Mini's that I figured would look good on them. I made a couple .5Ω coils and set to work. I am very happy with the vape I am getting on both of the eVic mods.
No. Back when I used 18350's in a mini Provari I used only AW button tops. Tried some Efests but they were quite obviously inferior in performance to the AW's. However, they might be your best option at this point.@Baditude, Is there a current button top 18350 that you'd recommend?
