Hello room. Thought I'd drop in and say hi. I'm 56 yo and been a vaper for 10 years with no intention of quitting. I used to spend a lot of time on this forum then life (aka work) got in the way. I'm now retired with lots of time.

I use a smok priv-x and a Procore tank. I just bought a Smok Mag 225 but I haven't been able to use it yet since I ordered the batteries from Amazon and they haven't came in yet. Hopefully tomorrow they'll be in. I mix my own juice.
Hi Terri

So glad you came back to our virtual home! I see you joined ECF about the same time I did..........I also took a hiatus from the forum years ago when I thought I knew it all with my trusty Egos, and the like.
We've come a L O N G way since then, and now we seem to be at the end of a wonderful era......although I'm an eternal optimist and just hope we can endure what lies ahead.......just feel badly for the folks who are newbies and not too prepared and also for the smokers who will not have the chance to improve their health with vaping.

Anyway, welcome to the Porch and yes, be careful with that 'whoopie cushion'! Iffy seems to have an over abundance of them!

Not really a shame that I don't use any of the Provari stuff AFAIAC because their 1.1Ω lowest coil limit just didn't work for my DL style that wanted much lower sub ohm builds that they couldn't fire. The 'shame' as it does apply to me personally though was that I bought far too many of them and their endless expensive atty's and accessories before I ruled them out as proper gear for my uses. IOW, my first year at vaping I was trying to find what did work for me by buying and trying out a lot of different gear that most of turned out to not be the gear for my uses. I do my own homework, but that first year or so I scored a failing grade on the gear I bought.

Look at it this way, you will be able to help someone out when it all hits the fan due to bans/deeming so maybe in the long run it will be money well spent. :)

No - Sanford, Started out in South Dakota. They've generally been pretty good - better than the local one they bought out.

I'm glad they've been an improvement in your area. I don't know of anyone who likes our hospital/group and i never solicited opinions on it. I don't know if the problem is this specific area or all Adventists are this bad. People that work there are nice, it's the "overhead" we mostly have problems with. Also no smoking or vaping on their property, even in your own car. Vaping is not part of their smoking cessation program but I'm sure they'll be happy to sell you BP products!

I have been trying for years to convince a dear friend of mine to delve more into vaping. She insisted on vaping with Ego batteries and Evods, and never progressed into external battery mods or tried DIY.

Well, with the recent events, I tried one more time, and now she's scared that she won't be able to vape! Talk about denial in thinking that she would always be able to get her commercial juice and Ego type internal batteries!

She said she didn't know what to buy or the first thing about DIY even though we talked about it often! So, she gave me the green light to purchase hardware that I thought she'd find relatively easy and would somewhat mimic the EGO type batteries she's been vaping with all these years. So, as we go, I purchase, then she reimburses me.

So, to start her off, I purchased her nic, some Aspire CF mods that take an 18650, the Helix mod, a two port Intellicharger and some other various devices.....no frills, just basic stuff that would be simple and straightforward.

Working on a recipe (with the help of a friend here at ECF) that would mimic the 'Churro' she has purchased all these years....have told her time and time again how much cheaper it would be, but NOW she is convinced.....going to introduce some fruit flavors so that the coils would be less likely to gunk up so quickly.

DIYing is limited cause of Parkinson's disease, but until I can't, I'll be helping her!

Was going to introduce the Zenith to her, but the cost of the coils is prohibitive, so we had to bypass that one.....a shame!!

I can't tell you how happy I am that finally, the light has dawned for her!!!

I got vape mail! My 2 spare Aegis Solo mods arrived this morning. I think I will just leave them in their boxes and put them in my stash box.

Do try them to make sure they work 1st. Or consider putting one of your current rotation mods in the stash box and substitute one of the Solo's for it. They are a pretty nice mod and feel good in the hand. We now have two each and one each in the stash box.

The aspire cf is a good one. You might consider ego one and get the clr coils which can be rewicked (easy) and rebuilt if anyone is inclined or has to later. A coil will last for months with simple rewicking and the mods/tanks are super cheap right now at 5.99. I like them as well as zeniths.

Definitely considered getting her the Ego One, but she would be totally dependent on me for re-coiling & re-wicking. I might be able to convince her husband to do it for her.......he is very handy, but he is getting up there in age, and don't know if he'd be willing........I will ask though, cause the Ego One is a good viable option.......I love my CLRs.
    Thanks for your input!

Great minds, I did exactly this yesterday. I even took one of the Kayfun V3 Mini mods out of the stash box to put on it. Yes, I cleaned it in a solution of Dawn dish soap rinsed well and put in a new coil. It has been so long since I did a new coil it took a while. LOL

Oh, thank you. You've saved me unknown hours looking for something like the Aspire CF - a simple mod with an 18650 battery. I've been using evod vv with the old SMOK Trophy tank, but you know, Panic time. I found one vendor with an understandable page layout. If you know of a better web site, I would be interested.

    What Storm Trooper P67 ... :D

Just local scenery :) where a custom stretch limo, party van or bus with a wet bar and all the trimmings, etc that can accommodate 12-40 people are quite popular here for "rolling" private parties starting for around $120-$250 per hour. Thousands of beautiful party gals are also available here that includes out of town ladies just looking for a good time to pro's. High rolling ladies also hire the rolling stock to party with local male players or gigolos. Gay folks as well for their preferences. Part of how Sin City has been reverting back to it's roots for several years. ;)

I recently purchased these for my friend and I personally have a few for myself........like them a lot; reliable! These were selling elsewhere in the past anywhere from $19.99 and up!

The CF is on sale really cheap right now, with different versions, if you are looking for it.

Oh my! That is wonderful news! I know how long you've been trying to convince her, too. Really hope she does it & stays with it.

Well, I went to Vapor Authority. Ordered two mods, two Innokin Zeniths, and three packages of coil heads. Everything on one invoice. The only problem I had there was that every time my mouse hand twitched, everything I was interested in was covered by a useless pop up window. I'm off to see if they have an ECF presence so I can let them know how counter productive this technique really is. I guess I could have shopped three sites, so maybe I paid a little premium of simplicity and convenience. I don't like chasing around the web, but that's just me.
