Yeah I'm following! Got the dust wiped off the Windows laptop and staring at the mailbox through the window too, lol, come on mailman!
Pretty interesting stuff! Im wanting to play around with some different wire as well so it looks like I'm going to get skewled!

Nice. All my DM graphs look that way too. Nice even tc. How about posting a screen shot from the material page showing the curve.

OK had to change my batteries. I've finally got that down.

Ok, looking at the tfr values at each of the first 3 splits in your materials graph your effective tcr values have been moved(curved) from .000879 which is the correct tcr value for 316lL ss to @ .00099. No wonder it gets warmer at any given set temp. That explains that part of your observation.
Now on the flavor part: According to your device monitor graph you are blasting past those first three curve splits in less than 1 second after starting your vape so I'm having a little difficulty in seeing how that first 1 second could effect your flavor when your preheat power forces the coil to set temp that quickly. Maybe it does on a tootle setup where overall applied power is so low. To be honest I was expecting to see your dm graph show more time to reach set temp; that way there would be more time for the first three splits to effect flavor.

Hey don't feel bad, you could be stuck in a house with 12-15 loud happy little 7-10 yr olds wired on ice cream and cake, celebrating your Grand daughters birthday... standing in a closet with a laptop... typing...

ETA: forget the part about the closet, its full of coats!

@cigatron you know thats what I thought about the TCR the reviewers all say .00092 but SE shows it at .000879 I believe. I guess I should've started with a clean slate there and just set the TCR. .00088 is where I have my ML's set to and seems ok. I'll do a new one and see if it makes a diff.

I'm cleaning up my materials list in escribe now to download .csv files from SE for ti, nife and ss to see how well they work as compared to flat line linear tcr settings. The csv files are supposed to compensate for non linearity of the tfr for each metal type. I remember from the "beyond ni200" thread that some preferred running csv files while others preferred running straight linear tcr. There were some problems with SE csv files back then but folks are telling me that they have been corrected. We'll compare notes in a day or two huh?

I haven't tried it yet I was having problems with one of my Tobeco KF V5's I changed the 3 Orings on the head cause it was allowing a little juice out and I used the ones that came with it and it kept wanting to flood. I took those off an put the ones that I got from the Oring store and Voila. No more flooding. Guess you can't trust everything

Well here is my new screenshot of the TCR

Does that look more like it.
That's the correct tfr @ 800°f for 316 elite ss. You will have to turn your temp setting up a little higher to get the same vapor heat level as the csv file though because the tfr values are lower in the "vaping temp range". I'm interested in hearing your thoughts on vape quality and flavor between the two settings.

Hey I was going to tell you the way I get more .ecig files on is, IDK if you got 1.2SP3 yet but I open it up without the mod attached and add it then since there is only 4 listed then go to General and find that one and substitute it for one of the 5 NI200 ones and save it to the file on my computer then put back the one that was on there. Then when I connect my device I just have to load file and it's right there to load in place of the old one. So everytime I start Escribe I have 4 empty spots. I guess V1.2SP3 is the only Escribe now. Evolve got rid of all the rest or at least that is what I heard it is for all the DNA's that use Escribe from the 60-250

Yeah I like it too. It's kind of neat going in and seeing all the manufacturers setting. It's the only one I've used and I think it is really neat all the things you can change on it. I've been having a lot of fun with it learning what you can do. It's pretty amazing. Haven't gotten into changing the screens yet. Maybe when I have more energy. But I like how you can customize things just the way you want to.

I just used the freeze-dried meal worms that we had on hand for feeding the fishies in Mama's aquarium. ;) Didn't matter much if they stayed on the ground. ;)

Hmmmm... maybe start with some (INW) Biscuit, (CAP) Waffle, and (LA) Butter? Not sure if it would come out exactly as you're hoping, but I imagine that it would get you fairly close. :)

Didn't know they sold those. I'll get some, thank you!

Just thought I'd so spot check to make sure you late owls were behaving yourselves.

I thought we didn't allow people that behaved themselves on the porches.

Even after I stopped looking for a lit cigarette, I used to have to stop and think what I was looking for.

It wasn't a pack of cigarettes. Was it a little 510 cigalike, a little black box, an aluminum tube? I had to learn to SEE anything besides that familiar old pack. At first, I just didn't see it!

Over a year after quitting smoking we had to leave the house quickly. Grabbed my stuff and was frantically searching my desk for a lighter. Husband had to remind me I don't smoke anymore. Odd how those habits stay with you. I can walk out of the house without an inhaler no problem, and that allergy has been going on into its 26th year.

I absolutely believe they should face criminal charges for what they are doing. I'm praying they do.

They should face serious criminal charges for many things that they do "routinely." A story tonight states, "Proposed state policies intended to control the opioid abuse epidemic over the past decade have faced a $3.7 million roadblock — the amount of money spent by drug companies and related advocacy groups to influence New York lawmakers." Doesn't make it easier for people in chronic pain to get help, just junkies.

Quit smoking? Use the overpriced BP stuff we tell you to, not anything that actually works. Have allergies that will kill you, some which might be airborne and you can't defend yourself against? Sorry, some money ***** thinks her paycheck is more important than your life. Literally. Sick beyond words over people who think making the almighty buck is more important than the people they serve.

I'd wish them all a horrible disease but they will be the only ones with free access to a cure.

I got a little vay-kay regarding a meme about essential oils.

Funny thing is, when I went to apologize, I was called a "hen".

I really need to change my avatar.

 Even I've never been called a hen. I give up, who is your avatar? It looks so familiar but I've never been able to place her.

Well, this was a failed attempt at multi-quote, but just wanted to thank everyone, I will post some pics of the new toys when they arrive!

One minuscule misplace backspace and you are screwed on the multi-quote thingy. We've all done it, you're now officially a member of the club. :)

KF5 at Eciggity. They are Tobecco's. I think the code ECF will get you a discount. Thatvs where Legs & I are getting ours.

From another thread: 2 day flash sale: 20% off everything, thru Sun. Code: FLASH20

Between this thread and the stocking threads - I cannot decide which one is more corruptible...:D

I'll vote for this one but only because it's been going years longer.

I suppose we can start mixing this in with all the posts?

:D

Um, shut up.

Maybe it's subjective.

From everything I've read here, even from you, it is. Honestly never knew how different everyone was until coming to ECF. Now I'm completely baffled by the popularity of Bic Macs.

Nah! Unicorn Poop is better. :D

Whatever happened to Bo Boas Bounty (sp?) It was the thing, now I never hear about it.

Agree. This thread is a gold mine of information. I read it all, 99% goes over my head. I love 'em for it but unfortunately/fortunately, I'm easily entertained with tootle puffing. I know there is probably something better out there for me but think it's to late with The Reaming being what they are at present.

That's priceless! It's essentially what I do at my parent's place to get away, post and vape--except they are in their 90s.
