Sometimes I take the recipes and figure out the volume from the %'s provided and mix the flavors in a separate bottle. Then I use them in my eliquid at a ratio I prefer - I have the proper flavors mixed to get the end results, but what I vape is at a very low ratio...

Exactly what I was trying to say! I kinda muddled it a bit. I like your explanation much better. :)

Compressed. Every last one of them. 26 or 28 gauge kanthal. Some twisted, some not. Pretty boring. :)
A little late responding to this but as others have said your wicking will last longer with spaced coils, up to 2x. Contact coils concentrate their heat energy into a smaller area than a spaced coil of equal wraps. That's great for cloud chasing and quick firing but not so great for wick longevity because the when the coil develops gunk those deposits bridge across the coil wraps quicker and block the flow of juice to the outer surface area of the coil.
I haven't wound a contact coil in years but be aware the spaced coils require more power to heat up. No probs, I'd much rather swap batts or recharge more often than rewick twice as often.

Morning, Steve. I'm sitting on the patio having my morning vape, watching hummingbirds feed and enjoying the wife's beautiful flowers.

I hope everybody's day is this good at some point.
oh that sounds so nice!!

but if you're really chasing flavor, you should try SS at some point. I find that it gives better flavor
I'll second this......and I bet Kenna will 3rd it!

Great to see ya back, Darlin'! I'ma tryin' to keep the multi-quotes runnin' for ya... ya know, if they don't get used regularly, they start to break down... ;)
thanks darlin....missed all y'all so much!

Here y'all go... for @Debadoo and @Diver9543 (and anyone else who may want to try these out).

All of these recipes are 100% TFA flavoring. Feel free to substitute or alter to your own taste budz, and I am always open to suggestions for improvement!! :D

Ambrosia
Juicy Peach - 10%
Sweet Cream - 8%
Vanilla Bean Ice Cream - 5%
Sweetener - 3%
Cotton Candy - 2%

I'd probably cut the sweetener down to 1% or drop it entirely... as is, it is a Very sweet juice and just seems to get sweeter as it steeps.

Aphrodite's Kiss
Pear - 12%
Juicy Peach - 4.5%
Vanilla Bean Gelato - 5%
French Vanilla Creme - 5%
Cotton Candy - 2%
Honey - 1.5%

This one is good "as-is", but the flavors develop a bit more with a little steeping. The honey flavor tends to soften with time.

Brickhouse Custard
Vanilla Custard - 10%
French Vanilla Creme - 5%
Dulce De Leche - 5%
Egg Nog - 5%
Vanilla Bourbon - 3%
Sweetener - 2%

Steep for a month. I suggest large batches! ;)

Honey Nut Custard
Vanilla Custard - 10%
French Vanilla Creme - 8%
Peanut Butter - 6%
Sweetener - 2%
Honey - 2%
AP - 2%

I'm still fine tuning this one, and am open to any suggestions.

Waiting to hear back from @LittleBird on a couple other recipes that I'm working on, so y'all stay tuned! ;)
thanks so much hun! I had aphrodites kiss, but not the others.

I'd love to have a spreadsheet that does conversions between vendors. How great would that be?!
I can never remember which codes to use to make this be a link rather than putting the spreadsheet, so if someone will tell me I'll edit, but this has different vendors on separate pages, and many/most of their flavors listed at recommended %s

[I removed it. It was causing issues for some reason. - retired1]

It's fine the way it is, but if you'd much rather put in a link, use plain tags.

Bought anAspire Quad Flex atty. It can be configured as a Genny, a dripper, a Nautilus X or a squonker. Top or side adjustable air flow, big bore or standard drip tip, single or dual coil. It slices! It dices! It juliennes!

*Stuffs Ron Popeil back in the closet*

I've only set it up as a Genny so far, with the supplied Claptons, but it worked well and is the first Genny I ever had work on the first build. I'm going to set it up on my new BF mod when it arrives.

I'm happy with it, quality is good like I would expect from Aspire. There is a thread about in the RTA section that I didn't find till I'd had it a week.

If you like different styles of tanks, you should check it out.

The thread is here.
Aspire Quad Flex, 4 in 1 tank

Thanks, Doodles! But, it's showing up in German. And I can't get at it (iPad). Would you mind editing your post with the link?

It is a complicated spreadsheet, originating in Germany. Very good, but you will just have to ask google for the English. I made some explorations into it a year or so ago, but abandoned it for my own unique b'guess and b'gosh method.

I can help it along with a question for the group...

I asked something similar in the stocking thread, but if all this got thrown out of court and all tax increases were reversed - Would there be any buyers remorse with your stocking up efforts?

Nope, none at all. I wouldn't have gotten into DIY, otherwise :)
