Since both my mother and father smoked, I wish I had the guts to resist. My brother never smoked but he had asthma and allergies so bad he had the only air-conditioned room in the house for many years. He didn't have to live with it constantly, he had to go be in his room so he could breathe. My step father smoked cigars, which smelled worse!

it also can save you time or volume of juice.. suppose you like a particular recipe only now and then,, instead of having a full batch,, you have the full 'premix' to mix tiny batches or big batches. i also like that you wont be going through so much vg/pg into those recipes when you are not using them for long periods of time.
+1, that's what I do with my tobacco extracts. I've been premixing the extracts at 50% with 50/50 nic base so they get a chance to steep with both pg and vg. When I'm ready to mix a larger final batch I use 50% more of that premix than I would if I used straight extract. At that point it's shake and vape.

Mom and Dad smoked when my brother and I were little. We both have had real problems getting off the stinkys. Him worse than me, because he has several respiratory conditions independent of smoking.

Our two sisters, born ten+ years later, never saw our parents smoke. They both smoked, but were able to quit easily.

I finally got to go into the new vape shop. I guess there was quite a bit of negotiation involved with setting up the place. It is right next door to a shop that used to be owned by a notorious druggie. City ordinance of no smoke shops in town. So they only offer 0 mg juices, and cater to young people. The objective to get them to quit smoking. And offer healthy recreational pursuits-- a lot of gaming options, darts, board games. Counter to drug problem in town, close relationship with police, and probably the local military recruiters, too.

Fly in the face of the FDA.

He was giving his spiel when I said "I know---" and pulled out my Provari. He had never seen one, and I guess thought it was the latest thing.

Na. I like "old school" equipment. I don't need (or want!) 200 watts, and although I have TC capable mods, I like my power mode. I am comfortable with it. Yes, I have done some serious stocking, but I have no interest in this newer high watt, low ohm, airy stuff. The old school stuff is getting harder to find, so I'm good.
And that's what keeps the world going round. Full consensus would throw the earth off its axis....

So my highlight to quote on my phone didn't work as I wanted it to so just added quotes..

Don't ya love the modern shops? They have no clue about older technology. But I applaud his purpose.

Yep, one of the best things about vaping is one size does NOT fit all. If it works for you, grand! Everyone is different and that's OK!

I need an "auto-refresh" for my android. I just can't keep up with this thread sometimes. Y'all are just to fast for me!!:?:
It takes me back to when I was a stoner; by the time I figured out what people were talking about and formulated a response they had moved on to a different topic.

Did he know about ECF? You should have asked "Do you even vape, Bro?"

I have/had asthma and allergies (supposedly allergic to cigarettes but I assume they tell that to all kids that get allergy testing) and it didn't stop me from smoking, only vaping did....

Don't remember that at all plus in a bigger picture, she doesn't ring a bell. Man, you must be way older than I am. (I saw that covering up being embarrassed for not recognizing that :().

She might be 30-35 by now.

Do we want to know why your wife won't date you anymore? ;)

We've been using Delasco for a long time and like it. If you pack it too tight, you'll get an off taste for a bit of time, 'till the wick is well soaked.

Changed the insulating gasket on the mini V3 and the funky taste went away. Like the Delasco cause it is easier to wick than that other stuff.

which maker do both of you get your key lime from? I want to try vaping zone, but it's a bit too pricey for me at the moment.

I'm using VZ Super Concentrate. Since I only use 1/2ml for 30ml of juice, even though a 'bottle' costs more than some other brands, at that mix ratio it will last quite some time.

Got a CTA from CASAA today about California's Prop. 56 which would add $2.00 per pack of cigarettes and a whopping 60-70% to vaping stuff. Naturally it's written in blurry terms so no one seems to know the exact amount. It's funded by one of those rich guys looking for publicity again. Unfortunately most voters seem to be for it this time around.

And 2legs asked why I've been angry so long ... just approach being able to settle down ... and wham run into another reason to be angry.

I can help it along with a question for the group...

I asked something similar in the stocking thread, but if all this got thrown out of court and all tax increases were reversed - Would there be any buyers remorse with your stocking up efforts?

Simple answer - nope. Some of my 'stocking' was for things that probably won't be easily available down the road anyway.

Aint that the truth. I wish my mother had taken me out to the wood shed till I did not even think about trying another one...

After 'Nam, got stationed at Sherman AFB, TX. My folks and lil' brother (6 years younger) came out to visit. They stayed in the visitors quarters.

Had a squadron softball game. Post-game, my folks wanted to head back to their quarters. Told my folks, "Hey, I'll let Larry bunk out with me tonight in the barracks". They agreed.

They left. While savoring a post-game 'brew' (or two or...) and cigs, asked my brother if he ever had a cig. "Never!" (BTW, my Dad smoked Lucky Strikes).

Handed him a lit Winston. Told him to be sure and inhale like his big bubba. I'll just say that to this day, that's been his only drag!

What's dat...? Oh, yeah, we still occasionally do raise a brew or two or...

Nope. Being a happy tootler, and having started my "prep" a couple years back, I just added a few (well, ok, a lot...) of the "older" tech at fire sale prices. And lots of nic on ice. Yeah, in the vape for free (well, you know what we mean ;) ) camp, and have no compelling urge to buy. Not that I don't still look, and if something looks shiney enough.....

Well, you did say you were dating yourself ;)
