Older Folks and Vaping Front Porch - Part 5

Good Morning Porch Dwellers I hope everyone's day is starting out right on this bright sunny day.

I was wandering the factory floor at work yesterday (I'm a front office position but spend time on the shop floor daily) and one of the women stopped me and said "I hear you are vaping these days" She then proceeded to show me her Hex Ohm, and told me she has 2 and her husband has 4, one of which is a LE that he got from someone in Canada. They make their own juice, build their own coils, etc. I asked if they were on any of the vaping forums, she said no, but I almost gotta believe he probably is or has been.

Anyway, thought that was pretty cool.

I have 5. 2 have never been fired. One isn't LE, but is much in demand. The other is a whole other story. They made some that are only available at vape shows, & they don't normally make more. I have a LE Rainbows End that they made a few of for a shown & either made a few more, or held a few back from the show. Anyway the total made was 50. Here's mine, ask her if she's heard of it. Pics showing the true color in it are very hard to get, there's a video somewhere, if I can find, I'll post.

Good for them!!! First I'm very happy yur mom is fine.....and glad David was able to talk you off the ledge on the stent I did the same thing with my dad, after he had surgery where they found the colon cancer and did a colonoscopy. he'd been a few days without food, before and after the surgery. They didn't want him eating anything til he'd passed gas to make sure all the connections were working properly. I snatched me up a nurse, and told her maybe she could stand to see a 71 yr old man cry and beg for food cuz he was so hungry but I couldn't......so if she didn't find something that he could put in his belly, I was going to go get him something and bring it back! She brought him a couple cups of broth and he was fine with that.

Thank you, hun! And yes, David definitely helped to allay my fears over the procedure... that helped a LOT! I know exactly what you mean. They did the same thing to my Bride after her colon surgery. Wouldn't let her eat for a while, then just liquids, etc... I understand why they do it the way they do, but that still doesn't help when you're watching a loved one suffer because (on top of everything else) they are HUNGRY!

oh yay!! she did!!! and I have all those flavors, cept they were always outta lemon sicily so I think my lemon is INW.

he also ordered them from Germany for more than it was from Russia, but much less than VZ. And the guy there finally figured out how to configure US addresses in his system, but I dunno if you'd need to email him or not

Yeah, but for trial purposes, I may just try to order a couple from VZ... if I can't live without 'em, then I'll jump through the hoops to acquire them through other sources.

Well, we all know Kaz is full of it sometimes (ya know I love ya Brother Kaz), but he's right about how good this one is. At least a couple of your recipes are going in my permanent rotation, once I buy some flavors.

Hello porchers. @Kaezziel reminded me of this thread again. How is everyone? Hope everything is going well with all. Whoever talked about the cigar, I used to smoke B&M with a good whiskey. Now just vape a dark pipe vape that I really enjoy. A vanilla bourbon is my fave.

Yeah, you need a little remindin' now and again. One of these days I'll figure out a way to get all of my favorite people in one thread so that I don't have to bounce around as much... but that's all part of my master plan that I haven't yet fully implemented. I know of at least one other of my favorite people that lurks the porches, but never posts... She outed herself the other day... hahahaha It's all slowly coming together...

@Kaezziel thoughts and prayer with you buddy but a stink is like a staple in a stack of paper these days somewhat outpatient type of deal.

Thank you, Steve! Apparently she's good... the angio showed that everything was clear, and the reason for all of this was because her doctor freaked out over an anomaly in her EKG. Apparently, that's just the 'signature' of her heart... So... three days in the ER full of torturing my poor Mama, and ain't nothin' wrong with her. Makes me wanna go up there and skin a doctor...

Oh that sounds good ... I on a Key Lime and Lemon-Lime vape kick right now ... this could be one to try next.

That's right... you've been on a pretty serious citrus kick here lately! This one is very close to the flavor of an actual iced lemon cookie, but you could definitely up the lemon percentage if you wanted to bring that a bit more forward.

That is pretty cool, Kad! I don't have too many people around here that vape... I've seen a couple around work, but none of them rebuild or anything. Sure wish there were more around here that were deeper into it!

Not pink, no hooked bill, short legs, not very tall, looks like it might have talons. Please, please, no one tell Little Bird her secret is out.

LB is 5'10" tall, has very long legs, most definitely has talons, and can read...

Where do you order from? And I like a lot of the INW flavors. It's one of the 4 main flavor brands I use. My other 3 are Flavorah, FlavourArts, and Jungle Flavors.

Hi, Kodak! Welcome to the porch! I discovered FlavourArts just a few weeks ago, and am loving them. My first few attempts were, as @Kenna says, PSS (Patooie! Spit! Spit!); I used TFA-level percentages to some dreadful results Now, I start with 2% and work up or down from there .

I just mixed up your Iced Lemon Cookies. Looking forward to sampling, tomorrow. Thank you!

You ain't done nothin', Brother... Kenna's goin' in for her steroid treatment, and last week it didn't go so well... since she lives on the other side of town from me, I was just sayin' that I might have to drive down there to put the "Fear of God" into some of them nurses...

Might have to come up there to PA and do the same for you if they don't get your stuff straightened out soon, too!

Just in case anyone is interested, I noticed that Element Vape has the Sigelei Fuchai 213 in quite a few colors. Orange, Black, Blue, Grey, Gold, and Pink... (sorry, Deb... no Purple; if they did, I'd already have one!)
And if you order from Element, it comes with (2) Free batteries... either LG H2s or Samsung 25Rs. Fuchai 213 at Element

All of the colors are pretty awesome... it's more of an anodized/metallic kind of color than a glossy paint color. Thought that maybe some of the ladies would like the pink one. For what it is, it's a pretty small mod, and easily fits in smaller hands... I wear a size 6 glove, and it is very comfortable to me.

I found a bottle of Peppermint Swirl juice that I had liked but forgotten about. It's almost empty. But, it's still so good!

I only found one decent sounding DIY recipe for peppermint. It's called Soothing Peppermint. It uses 21 1/2 percent flavoring! But, it's a good starting point.

So, Soothing Peppermint by LoveVanilla and Iced Lemon Cookie by Kodak. Those should be a nice, refreshing change!

That Soothing Peppermint sounds like the one I use for my daughter. She loves it!

Oh, I did the same thing when I first started using FA...my first attempt was with the forest fruit at around 15%...soooo nasty! Jungle Flavors and Flavorah are just as concentrated as FA. I love the fact it takes so little to make stuff

Let me know what you think! It's good as a shake and vape, and it's good if you let it sit a couple of weeks too.

I have only had one mix that I was never ever able to adjust and make vapeable. It was an extract that I made to vape and it took me several days to get the taste out of my mouth...

I'm out....no purple Wonder if that pink would match my Noxus though.....I have been toying with the idea of getting the Pink Cloupor Mini +, but I kinda like this one!
