It's great wearing short sleeves and flip-flops all year
I'm so jealous! I'm an island girl who has been landlocked for far too long! Loved it when I was there in April. In the summer I live in shorts and tank tops, but am miserable in the winter

At 60 it's still short sleeve weather, and if I'm doing yard work it's even still shorts weather. Gotta be below 50 before I even think about needing a jacket. And below 30 before I'll put on a heavier coat, gloves, etc.

Saw a TV show about Finland once. There were a bunch of guys ice fishing. They were out all day wearing dress shoes and suits and ties at some ridiculous temperature. One of them said it's a cultural no-no to ever admit out loud that you're feeling cold. Like once you start complaining about the weather you're lost.

Here Deb. Load this pic in your phone and look at it when you get lonesome for the beach. We live about an hour away from the beach which is way to far for me. But I loaded this pic in my phone so I can at least look at the waves when I cant be in them.

Edit: To keep on topic and the mods happy - it's great to be able to vape outside and not freeze to death :)

People ice fish about 20 mins from my house. Never done it. Too cold.

They have stoves in the huts, but I would rather be home in front of the fireplace, thanks. Last time I checked, you can buy fish at the grocery store. :D

Yeah, and it's so much easier than having to clean 'em yourself.

Make it anything below 70 and I agree completely!! A friend of mine near Destin, FL and I always say anything below 70 is just "below" So 60 is 10 below!
We had a cold snap last night, it got down to 70. Weather app says it's 78 now, but my cold feet & legs say the weather app is lying again.

Does anyone use different flavors for cool/cold weather vs warm/hot? This is my 3rd winter as a vaper. I know that about this time 2 years ago I was still a noob & vaping commercial juices with, what seems now, much stronger flavors. Even a year ago I was just starting to think there was too much flavor & began diluting them with pg/vg. Then by Christmas I was thinking seriously of beginning diy. Now, I seldom buy a premade flavor, & when I do they get diluted. I noticed today, with the cold snap, I was thinking of wanting a good hot chocolate with marshmellows flavor.

I use so many different flavors it is hard to say if I use different flavors in extreme temperatures but when we had a heat wave I did vape some Cherry Blossom Tea in the heat. In the colder weather one thing I do is raise the wattage to compensate for the cold weather. Needs more heat?
