I hope you're home by now.

Nope ... not home ... but safely in Colorado Springs now visiting w/ our daughter. We haven't seen our grandson in 3 month's since he was born. Oh my, how much he has grown.

This is the deal of the century, on kayfun 3.1 clones!!!!:banana: Kayfun 3.1 Clone Less than $2 each. There are 51 'brushed' and 71 'polished' left, as I type this. I've got my share, now it's your turn.

P.S. I'm sharing with one other thread, so get em while you can! :)

Wow ... even just for spare parts ... it's a deal. BUT CAUTION - it looks to be a Russian w/ the screw in drip tip & an adaptor to use regular drip tips not a Kayfun.

My first order ;) from them was on the 14th, and came today. Totally reasonably priced shipping and FAST!

I have never tried the 3.1, but couldn't resist the price. Thought the worst that could happen would be spare parts for the couple dozen +V2's that I have. :) The 3.1's are replacing the +V2's!!! :D

After I make sure the ones I ordered today :) are the same, I will have some +V2's to rehome.

What's the difference between a Russian and a Kayfun?

Very little difference, I've used both at one time. The Russian's air adjustment screw is on the outside of the bottom piece, not underneath like the Kayfun. The one thing to watch out for though ... an update to the Russian was released with a spring loaded 510 pin. This was crap and ohm's fluctuated widely on this model ... it was unstable. The stopped production of that revision and went back to to original design. As long as this one doesn't have the spring loaded 510 you'll be fine.

For me ... the Russian's always weeped juice down the 510 that collected on/in the mods 510 connection. No matter how tight I made the block on the deck to create a seal I always had this minor problem.

Apparently it has expired. Oh, well, thanks for trying. :D
that stinks. I only had enough to use it once, but apparently I just barely got that one in. Haven't tried em yet, but they sure do smell good. The cream is really dark though, like black coffee, that surprised me.

wow, this thread has been really slow. At least it was easy to catch up on. Not like the 443 posts I had on the BP.

I vaped KF 3.1's for a couple of years before trying the KF Lite Plus V2. Both can weep juice on the bottom. I always thought the V2 weeping came from the air adjustment screw. Maybe it was the 510 pin. On my 3.1's juice weeping seemed to be more from the side air port.

Weeping always seemed to be a result of coil flooding or heat expansion (if new o-rings didn't fix it).

Only time I've ever had a KF 3.1 or any 2 series leak was a bad O-ring, sudden air pressure (i.e. altitude) change, or the heat expansion, and that's not usually an issue where I live ;) Pretty much all I've used for the last couple years.

3.1s, with the bottom "catch cup" won't ever leak out the 510, so the side air intake is the only place it can come out. Never had a true "Russian", so don't know about that version :)

As you say, Dave, flooding - usually from drawing too hard - can cause it, as can over-filling.

I just tried out the Melo III Mini that I found in my Pico box. I removed the coil, washed it up and dried it and filled it. Then, I juiced up the coil and put it back together. Meh! It was about right with the air flow turned down almost all the way, but vapor was almost nonexistent until I cranked it up to 15 watts. Still, I think it needs to sit and soak the premade coil before passing judgement. Flavor wasn't even close to my Kayfun. I'll try it again after it soaks the wicking a little more.

I'm back to my Kayfun LP V2!

Kayfuns are all my wife & I use. She's still content w/ the KFLv2s in nano & full size versions. I mainly use the V5s and sometimes the V4s. She doesn't like the newer versions. Even on their tightest airflow settings she says they're too loose for her taste. Our collection is a mix of Svoe, EhPro, & Tobeco brands.

I don't even pay attention to other tanks. Not even curious. The only tank that sparked any interest apart from my KFL+v2's was when the v5's came out & that was because of the changes in airflow, juice flow, & top fill. It took those 3 changes all at once to make me blink. So far I've blinked 3 times. My v2's are all Ehpro, except for an authentic Nano & one unknown version. The v5's are Tobeccos.

Although I still use various clearomizers, I love my Kayfuns. Lite v2s, Nanos, a couple of 4s that are in my box, and I love the mini V3s. Perfect for me with travel. Easy to build, fill and maintain. Airflow is good (I adjust the v3 minis down a bit) , and flavor. Mini V3s are Fasttech clones, all others are Ehpros or Tobecos.
