I think it's a mental addiction to the hand to mouth activity for lots of smokers. They don't fare well by quitting with nicotine gum or other quit methods, but vaping seems to keep the hands busy while providing an inhale and exhale activity. It's not the nic as much as it is the "hobby" aspect of vaping that satisfies. You still get to do all the things you did while smoking, but without the dangerous chemicals in the cigarette smoke.

Finding a juice that provides a suitable mouth feel and flavor is the crucial step once a smoker starts to vape.
I do agree with this that it's mental and hand to mouth and that's why vaping works so much better than other things. But some folks really seem to have a fear of some sort about quitting. Kinda like Diver was saying about giving up his old friend. My sil keep saying she wants so bad to quit. Has lung cancer that has been treated and now come back.......has vape gear, juice everything....... but won't use it. Drives me up a tree. But ya can't make em want to do it.

When you deal with the government, intelligence and common sense are absent.
religious and all the people said amen.jpg

Then every document you send them, they charge 30$ A pop.
that's just insane

Aah, got email from EcigExpress express, says they are working with Ups to get it released.
yay Hope they get this worked out so you get your stuff quickly. And really glad to hear that NZ has repealed the ban!! I know the director of A Billion Lives said that after the premiere of the movie in NZ, they said they were going to reconsider the ban. That's fantastic that it's been repealed and will help you!!!

Only $11.00 but it bugs me knowing I have some and just cannot lay my eyes on it.
and naturally, I will ind it about a week after the new arrives.
I hate it when stuff like that happens. Right now with us, it's the ziploc containing all the batteries. We got a rotary nail trimmer/buffer for the dog's nails, (works great on mine too), but the batts died, and we really need to use it, but my son can't remember where he put the batteries.

It was missing my "Lemon Cake" from Real Flavors but did contain my Lemon Coconut Cream Cake from Chefs Flavorings
yummmmm both of those sound really good!

Puttering about was cool but then a dolphin surfaced alongside of us about 6' away.
oh how kewl!!!

Must have been 20ml and larger
dang that's just absurd!

I'm a VERY unhappy camper right now. A few minutes ago I found a scorpion on a wall in my kitchen :shock::shock:. Apparently there are three species in Florida and their sting is not fatal but very painful and there is a lot of swelling at the sting spot.

Been living in this house three years and have never seen one before. I hope I never see one again.:shock::shock:

Hey Florida vapers, hAve you seen one in your house?

We find little scorpions around the house sometimes. Often when hubby sprays when we are leaving for a trip we come home to find a little dead scorpion or two. EWWWWW!!!

Oooops again, the scorpions don't vape....
Oops, i should have posted this in the Lounge.

Haha! I see why it's confusing since you dont have live oaks in WA.

Wikipedia describes the tree thus: "Quercus virginiana, also known as the southern live oak, is an evergreen oaktree native to the southeastern United States. Though many other species are loosely called live oak, the southern live oak is particularly iconic of the Old South. " The tree gets its name because it retains its leaves through the winter and in the spring the leaves fall as the new ones come in.

This very old specimen on Johns Island in SC is called "Angel" and is believed to be 400 years old. the ground under it is covered with leaves just like our property.

oh that's awful! We've got scorpions around here. I've seen em in our church, but so far thank God, I haven't ever seen em in my house wherever I've lived. I did find a big hairy Tx tarantula at my sil's house one day. ewwwwwwww she did her job by killing it.......I did my job by spotting it, screaming and dancing til it was dead and removed from the area. In vaping news, I'm certain God approves of vaping! hehehe

Sticky Roach Traps! They catch whatever's roaming around in the house and don't let go.

Don't use them in your garage, though. I walked by one the other day and heard a fluttering sound. There was a sparrow inside with his foot stuck to the sticky floor. Luckily, I was able to rip it open and get his foot loose without harm. He kept still while I was easing it off the tape and flew off the second he felt his foot become free!

They are advertised for roaches and scorpions as well as several other species of insects. I built in a lake subdivision and lived on the waterfront for about 15 years. We had scorpions occasionally. These were a couple of inches long and the sting is about equal to a wasp. Not too bad, but you definitely want to stay away from them. I hear that the Western species is bigger and much more venomous.

Good idea, but right now the puppy would likely get into it and that wouldn't be good. Luckily we rarely see bugs in the house. Once in awhile a big water roach, or a spider. At the church we set off some bombs, and didn't see any more for over a year. That probably needs to be done again, or maybe try some of those traps. I'll mention that to them if I can remember to do it.

If y'all don't mind, gonna do a live oak and scorpion shuphphle over to da back porch...
I've been trying to get there for awhile. Today was 575 posts behind. I've gotten through a few pages.

Those critters will eventually find a way to get up on the counter top. Stick it in a corner of the counter and they will find it by the sweet odor. You can even slide them under the fridge or in a slot between the fridge and the cabinets where the pets can't get to them.

Every once in a while I see some ants. I vacuum them up, then dose their trail with WD40. Need to find a cheap way of getting rid of them.
I would much rather dose their trail with ground cinnamon than WD 40. Smells better, no fire hazard, and probably less toxic. I don't know if WD40 is toxic or not, but I am definitely more comfortable with cinnamon.

Anybody remember the name of the place where you can the PT coil silicone replacement parts? Not LV but some other place. Can't find it to save my life.

I was at the Vape meet in Atlanta last weekend and was amazed at all the GIANT Atomizers/tanks I saw. Not for sale but sported by other consumers there.
If this is where we are going, I am staying home. Just saying. Must have been 20ml and larger

20ml?! That's crazy. Then again, if it's one of those bottom fill through a teeny screw hole, I don't blame them. I always think my 3 ml tank is big, until I have to fill it again.

That tree is a boy's dream for building a tree house or just hanging out in the shade in the Summer! Lots of places to sit in the shade.

Boy's dream? Ahem. I had a tree house and loved it, my brother not so much. It was in a wonderful old walnut tree. Don't ask me how it came about but one day we "babysat" Ken Kesey's parrot in that tree. Bird was happy, I was over the moon, my parents were amused and college students passing by in the alley were gobsmacked.

I was reading some articles about the new CA tobacco tax. The reporters managed to find lots of people that said it was the catalyst that was going to make them quit. People that had smoked for decades. Yeah, right. Hope that works out for them because we know how well that's going to go for the majority of them. I guess they asked for it since vaping has been more or less mainstream for a while now.

Oh yeah. Hand to mouth has a lot to do with it but what I found to be most important was the sensation of inhaling as #1 and exhaling something visible as #2. It's still a huge stress release for me to this day and I'm a tootler. :)

:w00t: At that point I just give up since I feel the need to respond to so many posts. I'm never going to break your record of multi responses in a single post so have conceded defeat. :pervy:

If they are the little sweet ants, try something called Terro ant killer. Find the spot where they're coming in and put it down. It's a liquid and you can buy self-contained plastic pods or a bottle of it. If you buy the bottle, we do because it's less waste full and easier to use, put it on some wax paper, tinfoil or similar and keep replenishing. It will take a couple of days for them to die off.

They take the poison back to the colony. Once the colony dies, there will be a break before the new ones are born and do it again. When the second wave is dead, you're in the clear from that nest.

Everything else in the house we catch and release, except for mosquitoes, one of which I reluctantly brutally smashed on the kitchen window today. :nun:

Clonecores.com?

That is it! Thank you, thank you, thank you! Bookmarked. :) With LVs it was cheaper to buy coils rather than the parts. Again, thank you. :D

BTW everybody, I got an email the other day from FT chastising me for ordering something that was discontinued. You can't add something to your cart that is discontinued, their software doesn't allow it. It shipped in three days when I ordered it. What were they thinking blaming the customer?

That's why I just order authentic ProTank coils from FT. They're only $3/5 pack if you order 3 or more. It's the best way to be stocked up on PT spare parts.

It was discontinued, yet shipped in 3 days? Interesting. I can't imagine how it happened. And, why would they care? If they had it and wanted to discontinue it, they should be glad to get rid of any leftovers they have.

Glad it all worked out.

After almost three years of vaping #1 for me is still the TH. #2 is hand to mouth :). #3 is your #1.

We're all so different

Terro. It's a natural ant killer that contains a little sweet and a lot of Boric Acid that's like sharp glass to the insides of an ant who eats it. They carry it back to the nest and feed it to the queen. We have ant visitors in the kitchen about once a year. After they encounter Terro it's no more ants until the next year.

Thanks. I have some. I'll use it, then get some Terro if they reappear. I knew that there was something quickly available.
