Hey any of you Kanthalites use 26awg. I'm thinking of giving it another try I have 30, 29, 28, 27 and 26 from my Kanthal days and it seems like when I tried it the first time it just seemed to fire too hot.
Y knot just get a cupple sticks uv rebar?

Well I thought of that but won't fit on my coilmaster. I thinks I am just going to stick with SS might try some 28 though to get a little more resistance. I have gotten to like my juice since ya got me to switch to high VG on power better then TC. Not high power but around 12.5w with 28 might be able to go a little lower on power. I remember when I first switched to SS I was really impressed with the way it made the juices taste, probly like they are supposed to, real clean. Ya outa try it Gary.

I've never tried any SS other then 26awg but I think @Kenna does so if yer listenin darlin tell me how you like it and what power you have to use with it. Also if ya want to add anything to my Baker Flavors order. They have so many and some are definitely not for vapin so If I know anything I will tell you if its not a good flavor.

I don't need anything, thanks!
I use 28g SS. It does give a cleaner flavor. That's the only way to describe it. I use it at 1 ohm & between 13.5 to 14.5 watts.l depending on the device & juice.

29 gauge Kanthal is all I use. It's a bit stiffer than 30 so wicking rayon is easier to do w/o distorting the coil and I use 1 or 2 less wraps for my 1.6 ohm than 28g which helps it fit between the screws of the atty. it also comes up to temp a little faster than 28g too.

Nothing but 30, and I have enough for a lifetime. A finger lightly on top of the coil when threading an ample wick keeps it in place.

I get so much useful information every time I read and catch up. So does most everyone end up with a ejuice flavour they vape most of the time? Not constantly trying new recipes? I agree about the menthols being much alike, I've only come across one or 2 that had too much taste, I'm really just looking for the cooling effect. Looking forward to trying koolada. Might go with more flavours.
I never thought my eliquid tasted any difference between tanks and temps, and I've always had 2 or 3 different ones that I cycle thru over a day. Then I bought an evic TC mini and kanger top tank. I wanted that large capacity tank. It was messy to fill, and it made everything taste off. Still don't know why, but I can't use it at all. I'll just keep it as a spare, I guess. Made my first bottle of minty menthol, it tasted pretty foul the first day, but it's been good since. Is there some new info that's making everyone lean toward higher vg content? Getting harder to find the 70pg/30vg that I ended up at, in pre made. It's mostly 50/50 or all vg? I love the erratic deflective finger. It's a keeper.

@Vape? I used to be a menthol smoker, not as crazy about menthol Vapes but found one that is perfect for me. Cinnabomb from Provarifuel, it has a touch of menthol, and other secret flavors. It has become my ADV, and it is recommended at 70pg/30vg. I can't be without it. I use 18mg.

Provari is out of business? So where do you get it, or do you have a recipe?

Well the reason I did it was vaping was making my chest hurt and Gary told me about the Duck juice which is high VG, first I'd ever tried and my chest stopped hurting so much, at least till last night. I had a bout where my chest was hurting a lot and my BP kept going up everytime it did. But I did some heavy vaping yesterday trying to see if there was a difference between the DNA's and SX's on Power and trying to get the same effect from both. Kinda scared me. It was still bothering me this am. Thought about going in but it has gotten better now so will see if I don't vape so much if it stays away have an echo next Thursday and that will tell all. It sucks having heart problems. But anyway thats why I switched. I have to use more flavor then with 50/50 but I am at a minimum of 90/10 now with all my juices and I like it a lot better. That's just me. I only use 3mg of nic also. Plus Ginny quit smoking 9 months ago with 6mg and all she uses now is 3mg still in a 50/50 base. It's great she is off the ciggys no she was hitting close to 2 packs a day at the end. Not a one since Aug 30th. She vapes a lot around 10ml a day but she feels a lot better.

Um... dood... u dew no u don't gotta inhale to enjoy vaping (and get a nic fix) right?
Mouth thru nose. Pull it into yer mouth, blow it out yer nose. Don't inhale. Intense flavor hit.

I have 4 or 5 that I always keep mixed up, 5 or 6 others as "test" flavors that my become regulars, occasionals, or never again

Yep, new recipes, frequently, to add to my mix. I enjoy changing up flavors throughout the day.

Imo, the big push to high/max VG is to satisfy the cloud chasers. VG does produce more vapor. I mix all mine to about 65/35 PG/VG. Too high a VG percent and I get a lot of phlegm building up. And PG does carry flavor better than VG, allowing me to use less flavoring and still have a taste I enjoy.

Thatz wut I heard about VG too, Dave. But we'll have to agree to disagree. While clouds are thicker, with the quacks... flavor is plentiful. I'm assuming it really depends on the recipe. And they advise using 100% VG. Haven't really tried it at a lower rate.

Used to mix 75pg/25vg, den 70/30, den 60/40. Dis all followed my decrease in nic; 24, 18, 15, 12 and now 10mg. When I went to 10mg I also went to 50/50.

Not sure, but it all coulda been due to my TB (taste buds) recovery and/or my 'happy place'...

BTW, received my Israeli SpicyVape order today; ordered May Day (5/1). Ten days, I'm impressed. Besides, I now have a couple of neat Israeli Post stamps to 'show & tell' our G-progeny on Mom's Day.

TB biased reports to follow...
