The best way I've discovered to use it is with a coilmaster or Kuro coiler. Wrap a contact coil then stretch it just enough so there is a little space between the coils, pulse it till it starts to glow, looks just like Kanthal, once you get it glowing you dry burn it for a couple of seconds maybe 3 times so the complete coil gets oxidized, then you pulse it to glowing again and use your ceramic tipped tweezers, squeeze it till it is glowing from the inside out and your done. It will be a blackish grey color wick it normally and your ready to go. I forgot clean you wire with IPA first. I usually start out at a lower power about 375F work your way up to 400F and 15J on the SX and thats it. It bends easy and coils easy, you would think you were using Kanthal. As far as Kanthal Corp I think they only make it in .5mm but you can get it in Germany. 15 Euro for 50m or 5 for 10m. Alot of the places are carrying the NiFe30 but from what I understand this works much better. I am sure this stuff is going to catch on once enough people give it a try.

Oh I forgot to heat it up about 15w if you have something that will fire that low in power. I suppose you could do it with a mech if you were careful Well we just lost our power but it came right back so I don't know how long I'll be able to be on the inet. Wind is up to about 50+ now. You would not believe the vape with this stuff.

Wow I just had to check to see if our chain link fence was covered for wind damage. It is really gettin bad and one tree is really bending right by our fence. We have 1 acre completely chainlink fenced. We're covered after the first 500 and it would cost more then that.

Mike you wouldn't believe how easy this stuff is to work with.

You keep talking it up ... my curiosity is gaining ... I haven't experimented w/ anything new for a few months now. Maybe it's time to play again.

Are you really going to let Janet see that post?

Patrick, have ya considered a TC ECF blog? I, a vaping Luddite, definitely would subscribe (wheat from chaff and all dat)!

Just back from the dentist, who lauded the impact of vaping on my dental health. Woot! He's now recommending it as THR to his patients who smoke.

Yepper, I spend more time in da waiting room than da 'chair'. My dentist and her dental tech are very impressed with my renewed mouthful. <careful!!>

Have any of you got a DNA200 yet. I've been lurking in some of the threads and sure seems to be a lot of problems popping up. Not sure if it is the device or the users. 212 pages on the DNA200 thread. Lot's of returns for fixes. I really thought about getting 1 just because you can see what is happening when you vape with different wires but not sure now.
I've decided that if I go the big bucks for a mod it is going to be a yihi mod like you've got. That way I have a close resource (you) should I need it.

two days ago a lightning bolt fried the tower we get our internet feed from. They had to put in all new equipment so maybe we'll have a good connection for a while.
Glad it's going again, and yeah hopefully that will be a blessing in disguise!! Even if you don't have to download software for your mod....ECF is essential!!

Hate stories that begin with dirty 7 letter words like dentist.......but wow!! What a great ending to that one!! So very glad your teeth/gums are healthy, (Iffy & tutu too) and so fantastic that he'll be recommending vaping!!! So nice to hear a bright spot amidst all the anti vape crap we're hearing!

Hope y'all and your fence will be ok hun. Sound like y'all and some others are really getting hammered. Hope everyone experiencing/expecting bad weather stays safe and sound!

My Wismec Reuleaux is on its way, I think. Can't be sure, since the seller sent me an email on Monday saying to disregard a USPS notification that occurred, because he "had to" print the label even though it was a preordered item that he didn't yet have, in order to "meet Ebay seller rules". But less than 12 hours later, I got another USPS notice saying the item had been picked up from the seller. I'm guessing, or hoping, that the product came in that same day, after the seller's initial email.

Hey this NiFe48 or Nifethal52 whatever you want to call it is really working well. Now that I have learned a few tricks with setting it up I'm really impressed. Haven't had to clean one yet by dry burning it but works very well in TC and a lower resistance then Ti. It as easy or easier to work with then Kanthal but I think it was developed by them. The jury is still out on dry burning coils to clean them being Kanthal A1 or this stuff. Kanthal from what I gather is Iron, Chromium, and Aluminum. Nifethal is Nickel and Iron. The flavor is every bit as good as Ti once you learn a couple of things and you do your coils just like Kanthal. I think this wire is going to get real popular once people find out about it, it makes TC very easy but if you are sensitive to nickel then IDK.
Here's how I figure it, Legs: as long as I don't buy any, you'll continue to enjoy the heck out of the NiFe48. The minute I buy some, you'll start having problems with it. So if I buy some, neither of us will be happy with it. If I don't buy some, at least one of us will still be happy with it. So I ain't buying none. And of course I never allow my logic to be influenced by superstition.

Not any more, now that you've brought it up.
Beat me to it!

That too! :D

Problem being, if I like it and then Janet likes it ... it's 4 of 'em. We each can't have just one of something we like.:rolleyes:
So basically, you and Janet are funding a vaping household of 4 people, and all 4 have sophisticated tastes.

That third leg short?
I would keep quiet about that ;)
Now that thar is funny.

Almost forgot: hope you, yours and your fence came through the storm OK, Legs!

Suggestions for ejuice DIY calculator for iPad/iPhone? I've been in the DIY threads for the last 2 hours (!) and saw lots of familiar faces :). But there's soooo much info in there. Sort of the "good news/bad news," huh? I don't mind reading, but slogging through thousands of posts is more than I can handle. Lazy bird. :?:
