Im good, haven't had a look at many sales yet.
There are a few things I've been watching, but I grabbed flavors earlier this month and totally blew the vape budget there. It's ok, because the place I get them at is only doing a discount on imported flavors. I'm trying to decide on another mod, but it's going to have to wait until maybe January. What do you think about this one? Made in TX with a lifetime transferrable warrenty. They have regulated & unregulated. HexOhm V2.1 - Craving Vapor

Happy Thanksgiving Tutu!
Right back at you! Hope it was a good one. We had salmon. :D
Yup, I remember that thread. Very long and lots of arguing.

Campfire? BBQ? Deadly weapon?
I think there were two and both went the same route. Interesting nonetheless.

When you live in California you kinda worry about blowtorches (actually a lot of fires are started by welding, not to mention PG&E) but still bummed Wal-Mart stopped selling those cheep torches.
Man what kind of wire are you using?
Happy Thanksgiving, dear Porchers! (And Happy Whatever Day Today Is, dear non-American Porchers! :)). When I think of things for which I am thankful, the care, concern and kindness of all y'all immediately comes to mind. Thank you.

My father and I had a quite long conversation regarding vaping, this morning. He was appalled that the FDA would try to do something that would hurt his little girl. (I love that. He's 82; I'm still his little girl.). Anyway, he's promised to write his representatives, and ask his friends to do the same. The Congress won't know what hit 'em!

@holimakaru, thanks so much for posting the Nude Nic code. I ordered some stuff earlier this week, but wanted to order a lot more. At 40% off, that want becomes a need!
Nicely put Little Birdie and a  to your father. :)
Glad you posted the survey Ken! I did it earlier but had a problem posting the link later. Thank you!
I had the same problem. Once you've taken it, you can't get the link back. :( Thank you for posting it Ken! :)
Hi Kenna

I still look around here
If you don't start poking around in here more often Wolf, I'm having a word with Mum. :grr: Hope all is well with you and yours. Don't be a Sloth. Getting toasty there yet?

hmmm? I don't see a screen or buttons for adjusting the vape. And the description doesn't mention anything about a display either or how you make adjustments.

It uses a potentiometer to.adjust voltage. They've gotton really popular.

I'm too used to having a display for showing the settings and batt level on a regulated mod. I'd miss that on the HexOhm, although it looks nice and takes two 18650's for long lasting vaping.

It uses an OKR regulator. OKR based mods have been around since 2011.
I've built them using both T3 & T6 regulators, but have never built one with a T10.

If you would like to build one ;) (complements of Mamu)
note: you can add a volt reader.

Intresting, but not really workable. According to the stats, it's shorter and thicker than a normal battery. Also, for all the hype about the great price, it's definitely NOT equlivant to two for the price of one.
Here are the stats VS what I normally use.

    18650 Battery & Integrated USB Charger Rechargeable Lithium Ion - 2 Pack - Li-ion Batteries- 100% Satisfaction 60 Day Guarantee - 2 Year Manufacturer Warranty (2 Pack)
    Dimension: Diameter: 18.6 mm (in) Length: 65.2 mm (in). Input - 5V 500~600 mA - Output 3.7V 1A. Lithium ion battery - 1300 mAh.
    $23.95

    Panasonic NCR18650PF 3.6V "2900mAh" Rechargeable Li-Ion Batteries (2-Pack)

Size: 65.09mm tall 18.20mm wide Max Discharge Current: 10A Nominal Voltage: 3.6v Capacity: 2900mAh The NCR18650PF batteries have a lower internal resistance than your regular 18650 battery cells, and will deliver a higher voltage under load.
    $12.99

Now, if we could get a VAPING battery with the included charger, I would jump on it. But I think with today's mods you would see venting.

I guess you could use them for the old-style mods, like the RoughStack or Bolt. They say 3.7 V and 1300 mah. But, what would be the point? Unless you only have one or two old-style mods and nothing else that requires a charger.

    Oh, I know. Gimmick!

Yes, that. But might be handy if you carry a (suitable) flashlight and need to charge your phone...

Hi ya Pat , great to see you posting more :)
Probably started doing so again before now but it just dawned on me.

And same to you, Wolf!

Well, the potentiometer shows it' volt setting on the dial. I think they have a version that shows the reading inside the box. I don't drip, or subohm. So my builds are high enough at 1.5 to fine just adjusting the pot for taste. I've never use dual bats, so need to learn about marrying bats. The lifetime transferable warrenty is a thing, too. I don't want to squonk, don't want a mech, want something that can be updated & repaired, & don't want to be stuck with issues with laws in another State restricting my ability to vape, or obtain repairs for my devices. I'm thinking this is a good direction for my vapocolypse prep.

Not even slightly a mech fan. Have a few on the shelf in case of the gov gunning for us but that's about it. Need a VW/VV for my tastes. Which constantly change. Diff juices require diff power. Adjusting also means more longevity for the wick too. As it gets gunked up, just up the power and flavor keeps on coming. Blast it high for a few hits and it seems to ungunk the wick a bit so they last longer.
So essentially I'm always adjusting up or down.

I'm the same way. The volts are adjusted on this via the potentiometer dial. There's no wattage adjustment. I don.t want a mech at all.

Dumb question of the day, (that I should know already but don't). A built-in battery mod is a paperweight when the battery dies. What about a replaceable battery mod, like a Cloupor Mini+ ? If the board dies, will it still work like a mech? Or should I start looking at mech's and more Reo's? I need more education

That's exactly why I'm looking at the HexOhm. It's dual removable battery, voltage regulated, repairable, with a lifetimw warranty, & I can build my coils at my preferred leve & use my KayFun's on it. I don't have to toss it if something happens. It's as repairable as a Reo without being a mech. American made like Reo, Hana, Provari, etc. I learned my lesson when the threads stripped on my Segeli mini. Liked the mod, but ....Chinese.

with a mech all the adjustment is in your coil build.
I repeat. This is not a mech. They have versions that are mechanical. V2.1 is a regulated, VV mod, with the same protections of other regulated mods
