Easy, just push that button that makes that little tray pop open, put your money in the tray & push the tray back in. Just like at a coin laundry!
It won.t give change, tho....
Wait a minute! I didn't know that's where you put your money, I thought it was a cup holder! ;):(

If da 1st Amendment is trashed, then it'll be time to dig out my non-vaping cache! I don't see that happening any time soon. Take a deep breath and relax!
Thanks, I needed that! Well, actually I'm still a little scared.

I'm sitting here crying at the thought of not having my fellow Porchers anymore. Silly AND paranoid!

Won't work. USB doesn't provide enough power. You have to have a battery and a charging circuit designed for it. The battery provides the power and the charging circuit continually tops off the battery. It's a duty cycle thing. You don't value often enough to pull the battery so far down that the charger can't keep up.

Sure it does

Dumb question of the day, (that I should know already but don't). A built-in battery mod is a paperweight when the battery dies. What about a replaceable battery mod, like a Cloupor Mini+ ? If the board dies, will it still work like a mech? Or should I start looking at mech's and more Reo's? I need more education
I was going to say if you like your REOs and I think you do, I'd stick with them. I'm biased towards REOs of course, but with good reason. But then I saw later that was pretty much what you'd decided.

I use 7 different kinds of batteries. Four different sizes, several button-top, several flat-top. That's ridiculous!
wow yeah that's kinda ridiculous! lol

I haven't bought anything. :D
Me either. Having no $ makes it easy to not spend em. Of course, I miss not being able to get the batts at 15% off, and would love to stock up on some nic, but other than that, there's nothing I really need or want. That's such a great feeling.

Not sayin' everyone shouldn't have one. It's a must for the shelf! Just that it's pretty much a primitive way to keep on vapin'. :)
To each his own. For me, I'd tried a few vv and vw mods and quite a few types of tanks, but once I got the reo it was the best vape I'd ever had and once I got the hang of it, the simplest overall. If that's primitive, then it's fine by me.

Easy, just push that button that makes that little tray pop open, put your money in the tray & push the tray back in. Just like at a coin laundry!
It won.t give change, tho....

Everyone likes what they like, but I'm curious why you're so against mechs? Not arguing, for instance, lots of folks love certain tube mechs, and you couldn't pay me to use one, but a reo I'm fine with and feel totally safe with. So just curious.

Your right. On every rig I've had crap out it was the fire button that died. Of course with the VAMO and a lot of the boards now days the fire switch is mounted to the PCB and a pain in the pooter to replace if it can be done at all.
hmmm see I think that's what is wrong with my Vtube which I think is Apollo's version of the lava tube. I'd thought about pif'ing it to someone who could fix it, but if I'm right and it is the fire button, are you saying it's not worth it?

To any reo users interested, I recently got some of the super soft bottles that came from Italy, Rob will have them on his site soon, and man I love them! They are so soft to squonk, and so much easier on my hands. Nearly no pressure at all. Here's the thread if any are interested. Bottle porn
there are a couple videos on the second page of the thread.

I'm easily confused. That's why I haven't bought any Kicks yet. There are, of course, different versions. But, there are also clones. And, I've heard some (probably just clones) can short because of something exposed toward the edge. I believe it was recommended to coat it with something to protect it. Plastic? Fingernail polish? Not sure.

I think about 4 years or so ago.

I keep seeing sub-tanks advertised. After knowing how much you and Myrany like them, I thought I'ld try one. But, there are lots of kinds, it seems. So, it's the Kanger STM that's so good and easy to build on, right?
I think the Kanger is the best by far, I've watched Busardo trying the others but the problem with a lot of them is they don't have an RBA deck or if they do it's extra. These new V2's are great, dual air flow and new style chimney that doesn't screw on plus they come with lots of extra parts and I think they still put an extra glass tube in there too.Don't pay over 29.95 some have it for 28.95 but I like getting stuff from MVS great CS something isn't right they don't even question it just send you a new part.

You're right. We may have to talk in code. But, we can make it work. Thanks. I'm a little embarrassed now. So many silly things I feel that are overwhelming until I say them out loud. Then, they mostly just evaporate away (for a while anyway).

Going onto my Christmas Sales shopping list. Until then, I'll be lucky just to eat and put gas in the car.

no need to feel silly, we all have or have had anxieties over things. But jup....I don't see it getting that far, like Iffy said, that's the 1st Ammendment, if they trash that, we've got way bigger problems.

Anybody remember the ones the people were making from Altoid boxes? ;)
Not mine but...

Yup, your budget might be a little too tight. But, most people who complain about the price are spending as much or more on other less reliable mods. ProVari are so reliable that used is just as good as new.

You can get a V2 for about $60-65 and a 2.5 for $75 in the classies. And, that would include the extension cap (to make it an 18650) and shipping. I got my Satin Silver Mini (with extension tube) for just $50.

Reminds me of Steel Jan and her Elmo toy home-made mod.
A brand new ProVari 2.5 now costs $79.95, no extension cap though. Got extensions from some place else that charged a lot less than ProVape does. They aren't near as expensive as they used to be unless you want the latest/greatest.
What worries me the most is the future of ECF and our ability to comunicate freely with each other. Also our ability to view vaping videos. It may be time to start stashing copies of things offline. It does no good to have the parts for a mod if I don't know how to put it together.

Paranoid much?
The problem ECF might have is if vendors couldn't advertise on here anymore. If that were the case, more folks would need to step up and be Supporting Members.

Worst case scenario, start a new porch on some other forum host. I can't live without you guys.

Recommendation/caution:

I have several telescopic mech PVs to insure I have 'room' fer my batt and a Kick in da tube. There are very few PVs set up fer Kicks.

But But I can't take a deep breath because of all the cigareets I've smoked.

All this talk about the vapeocolypse has gotten me thinking about how unprepared people are in general for the coming days when society collapses. The intrusion on our rights is just a symptom of the coming chaos. I reccomend that everyone who is able visit used book stores and pick up a copy of a 50s or 60s era boy scout FIELD BOOK. Best survival handbook made. Even tells you how to pick out a good fishing spot.

Having said that, i have given some thought about putting together my own mod, i would, however, have to stifle my inner tim allen.

Going onto my Christmas Sales shopping list. Until then, I'll be lucky just to eat and put gas in the car.
Just ordered another Kanger Sub Tank mini V2 from Vapor Beast. Regular price is 23.95 and they seem to have the best price around on it. With the 15% off right now got it, 2 cheap drip tips and shipping for 25. It comes with a .5 vertical coil, a 1.2 vertical coil which I like very mush. An RBA deck with 2 premade coils about .6 ohms. Spare glass and gaskets with some cotton too. And best of all a little blue screwdriver!

I have had one a couple of weeks and love it far more than the Lemo2 I got. Still using the original 1.2 factory coil in it.

Other than maybe a few gasket sets for it I think I am done shopping for a while.
I felt I needed 2 since I usually have 2 ADV's going.

This tiny echo chamber has y'all turning into Henny Penny.

I Know there is nothing I can do to help those of you suffering from paranoia and other disorders to get through whatever it is that has y'all so worried.

Just watch out for the foxes.
....if this were the back porch I would cue up "What Did the Fox Say"

I think we'll all survive in spite of present qualms ;)

Relax! We ain't going anywhere. I would hope that we could get that assurance from the powers that be. I do have a bit of a concern on that front myself. Regardless, it would be up to us whether we lose touch or not. Easy enought to set up a small forum. A big one like this not so much but something with 100 folks easy/peasy. I could do it and I am not all that tech savvy these days.

They got my money and I fully intend to renew. Just being able to use the little emotion thingy is worth it!
