It depends on your variety of flavoring levels and how important accuracy is to you.

For a tobacco flavor, I make a base that allows for 3% flavoring in PG to be added and still come out at 12 mg/ml. For my ADV, I make a base that allows for 10% flavoring in PG to be added and still come out to the same 12 mg/ml.

And, since I'm not a stickler for accuracy, I'll use my ADV base to experiment with other flavorings since I assume I'll probably use 10% flavoring in PG for most non-tobacco flavors.

Yes, I don't use tobacco any more. I like pretty moderate flavour content in the 6% to 8% range and usually mix with one or two flavours. I've tried mixing three flavours before and did not enjoy it; probably because it was to weak for each flavour.

Might try here for DIY supplies.
DIY E-Cig Supplies & E-Cigarette Liquid | Make Your Own E-Liquid | RTS Vapes
About the best selection of flavorings around.
They have wholesale supplies for e-liquid labs, and stuff for us DIYers.
I'm pretty sure you're right. Best selection of flavorings around.

I wonder if they still have price matching? If they do, you could ask them to price match that new site that's so confusing. Not so much for the price match. More for the fact that they wouldn't price match something that's not equivalent. So, they'll do the checking on the site first and let you know if there's anything wrong/different about the nic there.

Another nic source, MFS, is having a 20% off sale, code DIY20DEC.

I do strive for accuracy with my flavorings, but the nic level and pf/vg ratio aren't as critical to me, as long as they're close :) Small capacity syringe (minus the needle and plunger) with a finger blocking the exit works well for test batches.

The way I do DIY is so simple I can whip up 400ml in about 20min. I make 100ml of a flavor at a time. I buy my nic at 100mg already mixed in a 50/50 base, VG/PG already mixed to 50/50, my flavors are all really good at 1.75%-2.25% standalone, all I have to do is put 3ml of nic, 2ml of flavor then add VG/PG to make up the remaining in this case 95ml. It comes out at 48/52but that is close enough for me to 50/50. I use syringes and most used is a 60ml and a 3ml. That way I don't have to mix the nic down just leave it at 100mg. That's what I love about these flavors is they are super concentrated and are great as a standalone flavor. When I used TFA I was using up to 25% flavor then I would have to figure out how much VG and PG to get it to 50/50.

People would probably shudder at my mixing method.

I usually make 60 mL at a time of any given flavor.
I measure the nic and flavorings with a small 10 ML graduated cylinder and put those in the bottle.
Then I eyeball the remaining space in the bottle and put my thumb nail at about half the remaining space up and fill to that point with VG.
Then I fill the rest of the space with PG.

Puts me at correct flavorings and nic and close enough to 50/50 PG/VG for me.

Edit: I use the graduated cylinder because it is much easier on the hands than syringes.

1ml and 10ml syringes to go along with some 14 and 16 gauge needles for drawing. I don't fill to the full 60ml, but make 50ml instead. I am a stickler lol

I do have some 3ml syringes but only use them if I am out of 1ml's. I can make up 250ml in about an hour or so which includes cleaning up. I am not in any hurry when I am mixing. I do it on my day off on my coffee table; usually watching football or something.

I dump a bottle of Humco (177 ml) into a canning jar, add 180 ml of PG, add 14 ml of 100mg nic and shake. Later, I measure 40 ml of that into a graduated cylinder, put that in the bottle, and add 2 ml of whatever flavorings I use for the mix.

Bells, that nectarine is the bees' knees!!

I'm with tutu, to call it pure nic is wrong, you'd need a ventilated lab, and heavy duty apparel to work with that. I'd be leary of it. also you're getting very little nic for your 60.00 I know you probably don't want to buy liters and gallons of stuff just to see if you like DIY, and getting started in it can be expensive, but I'm just not sure I'd trust that place. What type of flavors do you vape? Most of us don't use goggles or gloves. I do use some syringes, but don't use needles.
I do mine stupid simple. I get a liter of nic, break it down into 120 ml bottles and those go in the freezer. I only keep one liter at a time broken down. I make my base at 24 mg nic, so I dump one of the 120 ml bottles of nic into a jar, use a measuring cup to add enough pg and vg to make 24 mg 70pg unflavored juice. I will use a syringe to draw up 10 mls of that if I'm doing a new recipe and add my flavorings to it. If making my ADV I'll draw up 120 mls and add my flavorings. You may want to decide how you want to DIY before deciding what to buy and where to buy it. ex. do you want to do it similar to how I do it, or do you want to add nic, pg, vg, and flavorings to every bottle you make?

As close as I've planned to this point is 'Buy Somethin'' and give it a try. I've 'dumbed down' juice from 18mg to 6mg by mixing flavored juice. So the plan is to apply the KISS principal to begin with. PG/VG/Nic/single flavoring. Surviving that obtaining some recipes from ECF and put on the chef hat.:smokie:

ebates, if you don't mind me asking, what part Texas are you in? I'm in the middle of the state, if we're close enough, I could help you get set up

I'm in the north DFW area. Plan to see if I can 'learn to walk' all by myself and yell help as required. But your offer is greatly appreciated and I may take you up on it.:toast:

I also use a KISS method. I just use a Pyrex measuring cup and a Kerr pint jar.

    50ml of 100mg nic/PG
    150ml of PG
    200ml of VG
    _________________________
    400ml of 12mg 50/50 base liquid

I then use a irrigation syringe (big) to draw off 30ml for use, and add 1 drop of flavor/ml of juice.
5 minutes of work for 3-4 months worth of juice.
    Total cost: 6.25c/ml, and I get 3 hits/drop instead of using 3 drops/hit.

My largest and strongest Nic Concentrate order up to this point has been 400ML of 60mg/ml. I am going to have to up my game and measuring/storing ways with a gallon at 90mg/ml on the way!

Jup!. ;) You aren't even allowed to talk about anything over 200mg/ml on ECF. I saw another post of yours in a different thread where you mentioned drugs, nothing wrong with what you said, but you aren't allowed to talk about that stuff by name either. Call it "other stuff" as code. It's just the way of ECF with their reasoning being they don't such talk being tracked back to the site.

Now that I've said the above, that site says "ONE 10ml or 1/2 oz or 1 oz Bottle of 100% Pure Nicotine with your selection of bottle size." I would never order from there since even they don't seem to know what they're talking about.
Me neither. There are plenty of known, reputable vendors for nic. MFS, ECX, Wizard, & Nude Nicotine are just a few. Check their sites, sign up for their newsletters & they'll notify you when it's on sale. ECX had a sale going last yime I looked, & so did MFS. I've bought from both, but only started of one of my liters from MFS since I just started diy.
