Hi Wolf ... how's the weather for you. Been quite the topic around here what w/ the cold weather setting in.

Well somebody on another thread found just the thing to fix my problem with the VTC minis but I already sent them back. You get 5 for 1.95. Would've been perfect. I ordered 10 of these VTC 5s couldn't pass on the price. Heard they will last quite a while when not in use. These were made April 2015. If you need any batteries Illumn.com has the 5's for $6.50. Made by Sony no fakes from this outfit I checked them out. Now I don't know what to do about my VTCminis. This little thing would've worked perfect. I hate to tell them just to send them back. Probably charge me for it or go with the Cuboids.

Ok, so what are these 5 thingies and where did you get them?

Don't feel bad.. I actually tried writing a reply as well... I tried several times.. but it just doesn't seem to transfer from my laptop screen to this box. Blue ink.. black ink... pen... pencil.. sharpie.. tried them all.. now I have problems typing because my screen is all marked up.

the ones I got a week ago from there did not have the circular cutouts but just round. Actually look nice with a stainless STM.
The thingy sits flush on the Kbox Mini and the STM sits flush on the thingy.
All solid no wobble at all. And no thread wear on the Kbox Mini.

I got a dozen of these "thingyz" for $5 and free shipping. But they're really to avoid swirl/wear marks on top of your mods. They're really thin and not meant to make up for gaps, unless it's quite thin.

They're really thin - think J-Wrap skin thin. Really meant to be unobtrusive when put onto the bottom of an atty to avoid marking up the mod's top around the 510.

Also it's not the least expensive solution ... but putting them on the bottom of a KFL avoids the problem of a loose air-screw coming out. Just have to make a hole to remove/replace the juice feed screw.

They aren't for wobble. They are just to protect the finish on the top of your mods around the 510 connection from scratches from attys.

Think I might get another RX and a Cuboid. That would use up the 10 VTC5's so I would have 2 sets of marrried batteries for each. Sheesh 3 mods with 16 batteries exclusively for those. zi really do like the RX like the energizer bunny just keeps going and going. They haven't come out with an upgrade to add manual TCR but works fine with Ti the way it is. Just have to turn it up to 500 instead of 425 like the SX.
